I visited today with my family after wanting to try something different than our typical Afghan restaurant closed to us in Markham; this restaurant is located inside The villages of Abbey lane. After a long time in an Afghan restaurant, I was greeted on entering; I am a good fan of afghan food. Still, most of them, including Bamyan and Khander are, have become commercial places with no focus on their customer service, Bamiyan food quality is good. Still, they have one of the worst customer services and getting worst day by day. Therefore it was a reason to drive to Nadi Halal Kebab, and they have not disappointed. I was greeted nicely by a person standing behind the counter, and he explained to us by giving us a menu and how we should order. Menu prices were reasonable, and the food came out in 15 minutes, which was fast as they were busy. Food quality was good, with proper portions. After we finished, the food owner came out to talk about herself and her family and offered us tea; that’s was a good gesture, in between many regular customers were coming to the store. They know most people by their name and were asking queston about their family etc., overall it was a great experience and I will recommend them to other family and friends.

Awesome Afghan food in east Scarborough. Friendly service by the family that owns the place. The usual beef, chicken, lamb offerings but their kebabs are juicy, moist, and tender and goes very well with the yogurt sauce and the mild spicy vinegary sauce they also provide. Give the sweet house tea a try too, it complements the meal quite well. They also have a traditional low table setup open for customers to try which is great as other places just use it as a showpiece, not here!

The food was great. They are very generous about quantity. The server lady was very nice and friendly. Price was reasonable. We loved the traditional sitting arrangement. They served us some very refreshing tea afterwards. Will go again for sure. Highly recommended.

Had a real nice time dining at Nadi's. I really enjoyed eating in the traditional setting, it's really quite comfortable. The food was really good. Tried a couple of items including the chicken Tikka boti with beef kofta and the beef Tikka. Both items were really good. They were seasoned to perfection and were so tender. The chicken was exceptionally mouth watering.

Amazing place! Looks absolutely lovely on the inside! And the service and atmosphere are both lovely, one of the most beautiful restaurants in the area, definitely recommend!

They were closing at 9PM, and even though we came late at 8:30PM, they were really kind enough to let us dine in. The atmosphere and food was amazing. Highly recommend to visit. I have to say Afghani people are one of the nicest people you would encounter. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

I ordered Tandoori chicken and Beef Kebab. Beef is really good and well marinated. Beef, hot sauce and rice is good combo. Hot sauce is okay not HOT enough. Gralic sauce is okay. Bread baked well soft inside and little crispy texture outside. Salad is plain and dry. The owner is really nice. She cared for her customer. ❤

I loved their service, food and ambient. We have tried beef tikka, chicken ground kabab, and wrap. My son got complementary fries. The fries was really soecial with extra spice. Loved it.

The food alone deserves 5 stars but what really impressed me was the service. The two ladies who took our order really looked after us. Long story short, they were a little busier so it understandably took a little longer than promised to serve our food. No big deal really and we weren't in a rush. Still, they went above and beyond what they needed to do all in the name of making sure we were satisfied. Great food and you get a lot of portions for what you pay along with an awesome relaxing atmosphere. Together with the vibe, the employees were very pleasant to interact with while being very sweet and generous. I'll definitely be going back again soon.

Beautiful painting inside the restaurant. The staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious. Walked in to enjoy a Friday special. Appears to have very nice seating even though its not available for sitting at this time due to COVID-19. I will return again to enjoy the great cuisine.

Nadi Halal is so good, and the people who work here are so loving and nice. It's like eating a home cooked meal full of flavor and love. The restaurant looks very cozy and relaxing too. The prices here are also very affordable. Definitely a must try. I'm looking forward to dine in!

Such a good restaurant. I went here with my family and even though it was close to closing time they told us to come on in, and served us and were really nice to us. The food was quite good and well priced, our entire family enjoyed it. The whole place is very cozy and all in all a great meal. 100% coming back here.

Has a nice traditional floor seating area as well as normal tables and seats. Ordered the tandoori chicken and beef kofta plate. Overall food tasted good.

We LOVED our dining experience here! Really delicious food with amazing owners! So hospitable! The prices are hard to believe!We definitely RECOMMEND! Stop by at this place and you will thank me :) Only five minutes or so from the Toronto zoo. After you’re done eating, order some more and take with you! Next time we go to Toronto, we will absolutely stop there and dine! Thank you very much for your amazing hospitality and delicious food!

This is my second time going there. First time, I went alone and sat in the rug area and read my book. Have a sip of their masala tea or black or green tea and enjoy the ambiance. For me, ambiance is main thing to look at. This place is not like other places that you sit on chair, eat and leave. Last night, I went with my big girls team. It was our late night adda(chit chat). We tried few items. Trust me their freshly made hot bread tasted so good. Out of all, I loved their Beef Tikka, it was nicely tendered. Black or green tea is complimentary. If you can’t sit on the rug, no worries. They have regular table chair also. I love the place because of their friendly welcoming vibes, the rug seating area specially with child gate, moms can relax and enjoy the food. I definitely going back many times. Oh! Washroom is so clean!

We dropped by last minute (12 of us). They were able to accommodate. We ordered family platters. Very good portion sizes, kebabs were juicy and flavourful. Everything was fresh. Staff was friendly. Make sure to get the blended tea to finish your meal. Great discovery in this area.

My favourite tandoori kabob in Canada not even just Toronto!! I love the owner her heart is gold the food portion is great fresh every time love them ate there three times a week all last year I used to love bamiyan kabob until nadi moved into rylander she is the best Afghan kabob by far only thing I miss is the mista salad with cilantro in it but that just cuz I love cilantro ❤️🤪

Hands down one of the best places to eat in the area. EVERYTHING tastes amazing, the chicken is always cooked perfectly and it's all so flavourful. The owners are so always so friendly and welcoming. Lunch wraps or dinner plates you won't be disappointed. 10 stars! ⭐️

If you like juicy beef and chicken skewers, then this is the place for you! The chicken is perfectly marinated and the beef is cooked until perfection. The complementary naan is straight out of the oven and tender to the bite. The salad is diced and fresh. The included white sauce and hot sauce are both super flavourful and a perfect addition to an already excellent meal. Finally, the service was welcoming, warm, and personable from both the chef and the employee. This is arguably the best Middle Eastern cuisine in Scarborough / Pickering.

Kebabs are pretty good. Spicy ones are really spicy.

Always delicious. The chicken breast, and tandoori chicken is constantly juicy and tender. Beef tikka is fork tender and scrumptious. The lamb shank is our favourite though. Sometimes they have a special rice with raisins that they serve with the lamb. Get that if it's available.

Food was good and the service was great. The lady manger/owner was very nice and welcoming, after interacting with her me and my company were happy regardless of the food which turned out to be great aswell. Portions were just adequate but prices were reasonable too. The dinning room environment was very nice and definitely worth a dine in option vs just take out.

Very well cooked kebabs, flavourful and juicy. Naan was fluffy and fresh, service was friendly and timely, could not have asked for a better takeout experience. Highly recommend!

Lamb shank and beef tika were both really tasty, soft and juicy! Sumac complimented the beef perfectly. Firni was the best custard dessert I've ever had: light, mildly sweet with a slightly thick layer on top. Staffs were friendly, upbeat and informative. Interior decorations were thoughtful and comfortable. Ample amount of parking. Having an outdoor patio was a plus.

I was there only for a takeout lunch but damn. It smell so good I had to pull over and had a little bit before I drive again. Would definitely give it a 2nd try for dining in for dinner. The food is a bit slow tho. She only had one person working that day. But worth the wait I guess.

Really calm and soothing atmosphere, and the food is 10/10. I came to this restaurant through an art workshop that was being held there, and this location the hosts selected is the best. It's very cozy and the staff were very kind. I asked about dietary restrictions, and they were all so understanding 🩷

I’ve been to many kebab-serving restaurants in Toronto and Nadi Halal Kebab House has the best kebabs in the Greater Toronto area. The kebabs, rice, naan, and salad were fresh and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend sitting in the upper area where you can take your shoes off and make yourself comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly throughout my time there as well. I can’t wait to come back!
