DO
NOT
DO
THE
MINESHAFT
ROOM
If
you
are
looking
for
a
challenging
and
authentic
escape
room
experience,
where
solving
each
puzzle
or
tasks
leaves
you
satisfied,
and
you
don't
feel
like
you've
just
wasted
$35,
I
would
avoid
this
room
at
all
costs.
Me
and
3
other
friends
decided
to
try
out
this
room
yesterday
for
my
birthday
because
we've
heard
great
things
about
this
place
and
their
other
rooms.
We
chose
this
room
specifically
because
it
was
the
only
room
that
wasn't
completely
booked
out
(I
wonder
why....)
Our
expectations
for
this
room
were
on
a
complete
rise
up
until
we
finally
stepped
in,
and
that's
when
we
knew
we
just
wasted
$35.
Before
even
booking
I
called
and
asked
if
this
was
one
of
their
better
rooms
and
what
the
difficulty
was.
The
person
over
the
phone
hyped
up
the
room
and
said
that
they
personally
liked
it.
As
for
the
difficulty
they
said
they
don't
have
difficulty
ratings
for
their
rooms
which
is
kinda
weird
for
an
escape
room
place
not
to
have.
Anyway
from
this
call
and
the
way
the
room
was
advertised
on
their
website
our
expectations
were
raised
HIGH.
When
we
were
brought
to
our
room
by
a
staff
member.
He
proceeded
to
ask
if
we've
ever
done
escape
rooms
at
other
places
to
which
we
said
yes.
He
then
started
praising
Escape
Games
and
bashing
other
escape
room
places.
He
said
things
like
-
"We
do
it
differently
here"
-
"We
actually
like
to
get
our
customers
to
think
here"
-
"Our
rooms
are
actually
challenging
and
thought
provoking"
-
"We
don't
do
'easter
egg
hunts'
like
other
places
we
challenge
you
through
puzzles"
Because
of
this
our
expectations
were
raised
even
HIGHER.
We
were
anticipating
a
challenging
and
hard
escape
room
and
were
super
excited.
Without
going
into
too
much
detail
spoiling
the
room,
all
I
can
say
is
that
it
was
in
fact:
-Not
challenging
-Boring
-VERY
short
By
the
time
my
friends
got
into
the
last
section
of
the
room
we
were
already
discussing
if
we
should
ask
for
a
refund
and
how
we
should
go
about
doing
it.
We
also
had
13
Min
left
when
we
finished
the
room
and
we
would
have
finished
even
quicker
if
we
weren't
so
bored
and
unengaged.
We
aren't
the
type
of
people
to
start
a
fuss
and
make
an
awkward
situation,
so
we
decided
to
just
take
the
L
and
suffer
the
-$35
in
order
to
not
start
a
scene
and
hurt
the
staffs
feelings.
That
being
said,
we
would
have
loved
to
get
our
money
back
because
we
genuinely
did
not
enjoy
it
and
most
importantly
it
kinda
ruined
my
birthday.
My
friends
and
I
are
now
hesitant
to
come
back
to
this
place
but
we've
heard
such
amazing
things
about
some
of
their
other
rooms.
We
love
escape
rooms
and
would
love
to
be
given
a
reason
to
come
back
to
the
this
place.
My
advice
to
Escape
Games
is
be
more
transparent
about
what
your
customers
are
getting
themselves
into
and
that
includes
having
difficulty
ratings
for
your
rooms.
Instead
of
trying
to
be
so
"different
from
other
escape
places"
don't
forget
what
the
point
of
an
escape
room
is.
To
challenge
the
person
and
make
them
feel
accomplished
with
every
task
they
complete.
Also
why
in
the
world
is
this
room
16+
it's
literally
child's
play
