A quick story on why you should always shop at Home Depot. Bad experience this morning. Went in early for a return. Apparently, a few staff didn’t show up for work that morning, so no one was at the return desk. No one was at the cash registers and there was a line of confused customers waiting to check out. I could see a few staff doing other things or standing around, but no one acknowledged my existence for 5-10 mins. 2 staff finally came to the return desk but still didn’t really talk to me or tell me what was going on. They just started to do some things that seemingly had nothing to do with me or the 2 people behind me in line. Once I got their attention, neither knew how to do a return, or help the man behind me rent a truck. They said the return would be processed later when someone with training on that came into work. I left with no receipt and a sense of confusion. I did get an email 2 hours later saying that the refund was processed so I assume someone showed up for work finally. Upon leaving, 2 of the exit doors were locked so I couldn’t get out. I asked a staff how to leave the store and he rudely told me there was an exit at the far corner of the building. I get it, you're stressed because no one came in, but don’t take it out on the customers. Clearly, they have an employee engagement and training issue at this store. And now you know why I shop at Home Depot 99% of the time.

I went to get a key cut. The person helping me decided to go and help another customer who had a bigger order. After several minutes I asked for my key back, he simply slid it across the counter and didn't say a word

I am this store customer since 2016. I was really happy with their service, even in the Covid pandemic they had very good service. But I don’t know what happened after pandemic. They had many young and knowledgeable staff, they had very good stuck but recently anytime I was going there , I had an issue, short of knowledgeable staff and etc.

It is so great to have this store here in the neighborhood. I wish it was a little bit bigger so he could carry more products like the other Ronas or other hardware stores. Staff are very helpful as well Specially, in the plumbing department, they have Ebrahim (if I recall correctly) who is the coolest guy in the store.

We went there a few time in the past couple of years. Although this store is somewhat smaller in size than some "regular" Rona's, you will find almost everything you're looking for. The staff is super friendly and very professional. We needed to buy some lumber and guys who worked there help us to find the right product. Highly recommended.

I shopped at many of the other Rona locations, the experience I had at this location was not even worth 1 star. I am so disappointed with the services at this location that I wanted to let you know, it could happen to you as a customer. I placed an order online the night before for an electric snow shovel, there was inventory shown and the order was accepted. I waited till the next day at noon and still there were no email notice of pick up. When I called in, the service rep from the store took time to entered my order # and verified my name and confirmed with me the product was ready for pickup even telling me there's 3 more units just arrived. I drove a great distance to the store to pick up in the evening and I was told there's no stock to fulfill my order. Pretty disgraceful customer services, outright lies, even telling me the stock will come in next year in August. The evening manager told me they were busy and they did not have time to inform me of the status of the order. Does Rona as a corporate organization allow or accept such careless unprofessional services to their loyal customers?

This is a poorly run store. I purchased a heater online during the lockdown and tried to return it at this store. The returns clerk kept rudely saying he wouldn't process the return because it was not bought from the store. After providing him my Rona invoice, he changed his position to the item was not bought from this specific location. I asked him how I could return the item and his response was he had no idea. A total headache of a process. You are better off shopping at Home Depot where the customer service actually exists.

Absolutely zero customer service here. There was a lady yelling out "help" but no one responded. When I requested assistance, the person walked by and went to break. Awful place. It's an absolutely miracle that this place has 4 stars. You'll see employees standing around talking, no way they offer help and when you ask for it, like I did tonight, they'll walk by you because they're going on break.

Didn't find what we were looking for but Jake was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. The other staff were very friendly and helpful. There were also no lineups to pay. This store is located on the northeast corner of Sheppard & willowdale

Returning in this store is disaster, they are not caring customers at all even for small items and amount. They are very weak. Their policy is disaster. It’s not comparing Canadian tires and Home Depot. I never come back and will not recommend to anyone.

Good location and friendly staff. Smaller selection of products but service is really good. Plenty of parking. Note that there's two more floors in the store, so ask to go quickly to what you need.

I live in apartment so don't have the same needs as most homeowners. However doing some DIY projects for some elderly neighbours have always found the staff to be both friendly and very professional. I look forward to next time.

Been going there for most of my projects the past few years! Staff are very friendly and helpful! I was speaking to John from the paint department. He is knowledgeable and very patient. He is willing to walk you through each step of your project! Amazing guy! 10 stars!

The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. Within less than a minute of arriving they approached and helped me find the product I needed. The cashier was also very polite. The store is well lit and well organized you can quickly find the high quality essentials at fair prices. There are also helpful visual guides to aid you select the material or part. Kodus to the management and the staff. Thank you. This is my goto home improvement store now.

The staff there was really friendly and had some great advice to the product that we were looking for and yet, the associate explained really well what we as a customer need.

My favorite Small Rona store. Reminds me of the good old Beaver Lumber store . Great service, always someone knowledgeable to ask for help

My husband said I have to write a review for the Rona staff member that helped him on a Sunday in the flooring department! Said he went above and beyond and was so helpful. His name was Marshall.

I went there to look at their Vanities or better say Vanity tops to surprisingly find out that you have to change your vanity if there is any problem with it's top since there is not replacement parts for it at all. Such a shame that whole thing has to go to waist just because of small dent on the top of it.

Great service! I phoned and I was put through right away to an associate. When I went onto the store, someone helped me find what I needed and I was in and out of the store in 5 minutes.

Big and well organized. You can check their website first for product availability. Lots of staff around to help you find things if needed.

Returning is disaster for this specific location. Twice I returned in this location, first time they said they don’t carry the product and asked me to return in other stores. 2nd time they asked me to contact manufacture directly for returning. I will think twice and treat everything final sale before I purchase anything here next time. Put returning aside tho, this store does have supreme location, and lots of staffs (compare to other Rona location), most of them are very nice and well educated, so I will bump the star up by 2 because of that.

Rona was the only big box store that carried a central vacuum wall inlet so I paid them a visit. The staff were quick to call Ibrahim from electrical to help me locate the item. Ibrahim was just so funny and happy to deal with that it prompted me to write this review. His happy go-lucky energy is contagious and I left with a smile and an increased in faith in humanity. He deserves a raise.

Nice little store; compared to Hone Depot or Lowes. Customer service are great, friendly and attentive.

Great location! Just make sure you check online inventory before going to the store because store is small and has limited variety.

Don't stock basic hardware, frustrating. Needed metric nuts and bolts, they had 2 sizes of bolt and no nuts. Srsly basic hardware would be expected at a hardware store. Even Can Tire sells packages of basic hardware! Won't return to this location.

I would like to thank Russell, a customer service representative in training, for his initiative and helpfulness. I also want to thank his supervisor at the counter. I had to find a way to drill a larger hole in a piece of 3D-printed art to make it fit into its base, so I went to this RONA in my neighbourhood to ask for help. Russell not only helped me figure out a way to solve the problem, but he also took his time to find the correct tool and even got a power-drill to help me do the work. I am heartily thankful to them.

Usually a good experience at this Rona and we like to support them. However we called today and asked if they had curtains, rods, and brackets. They confirmed all these items and said yes. We got there, and they said they don’t even have a home section. Very strange interaction and an unfortunate waste of time.
