Nice beach with a long natural trail. You can see some different kind of birds on trail.

It's a nice hiking spot. I love their trails and scenery. The water isn't the greatest quality but still swimable. Do NOT put your head under or you WILL get sick.

Nice place to go kayaking or fishing. Place can be a little crowded sometimes and bbq is not allowed because it's a conservation park, so no fires allowed. Water goes deep after a few steps from the shore so need to be careful with kids. Power plant is a bit of an eyesore, and you'll hear the Go train frequently.

Excellent place dont miss it. During winter washroom remains closed. Go train just gone by the beach made it lovlier. You will like Canada goose, small ducks all playing the lake. Sunset is so special here. Parking spots are competitive. There is a fishing spot here just under the go train bridge.

Best quality of this area is the people who come here to fish. It's very beautiful here. But a train passes over the bridge every 15 minutes gives me a heart attack, and the water is too polluted to swim which is a huge downside

Loved the area but they should open up the space and remove the construction equipments. Please clean the river. Such a waste of a beautiful place.

It's an amazing out of the way little beach. Adequate parking and bathroom amenities. Clean beach, with a path leads to some light hiking. Good for bbq/bonfires.....although bonfires are not allowed, many ppl get away with it...

Very accessible (even by bus), gorgeous beach with free entrance and parking! It's not as busy as other beaches like the Bluffs, even on weekend holidays like Canada Day. There's also some shade under the trees for a nice picnic (unlike other beaches where you have to be under the sun at all times). Another good feauture is the nearby washroom facility (may not be the cleanest though). Garbage and recyling bins are also available all around, which is a plus! You can also go fishing, do water activities like kayaking or paddling along the waters, and cycle along the path. So many to do at this quaint beach!

👍👍 2022 June 4.5★ A very nice beach with amazing soft sands and fairly clean waters. Backdrop of the bluffs gives this place a great view to enjoy the city. Given the size and how busy this beach is, it's kept quite clean. Kudos to the city staff for keeping it this way. Parking is limited and may onl...

👍👍 Nice Picnic place in just few minutes drive from city. Lots of benches to sit. Area can be best setups for BBQ. Rstaurant in the park(not sure if in service). Shallow water for swimming. ⛱ Lifeguard available on site. Hard to find parking during peak times on weekends.
