Dishonest & Lazy Staff I had a multiple bad experiences with the staff called SALMA from the store customer service for the returns. In my experience, this lazy employee always try to avoid work as much as possible, especially for those online shopping items. This time, she made a mistake and returned my order to the other account of customer with a wrong order number. The simple processing is just go on the computer to revise it. But she did not want to revise it because of her lazy, that means my money will be refunded to the other customer, and she lied to me that my order is not exist, but luckily I had the order record from the app to proof it. At the end, she have to revise it. Of course, more work to this lazy employee mean make her more unhappy. When finished the returning process, she just thrown the receipt to the counter and walk away without saying a word has it done or not. Walmart is a bad luck to having this kind of employee.

I typically had a neutral experience shopping at this location. However, when I came here last time a few days ago, I went to the self-checkout and had nine bottles of particular drink in my cart along with other products. I made sure I scanned every item properly. When I was about to pay I was approached by an employee accusing me of scanning only eight of above mentioned drinks. She looked at the screen and counted eight scans. Counting to nine is quite easy but she couldn’t do it so I had to show her twice that there were in fact nine scans of the drink. I wasn’t offered a “Sorry about that” or “I miscounted” but was told “Okay, sure”. Same occasion - I needed bags so I asked for a few paper bags and was charged for each one. While checking out I kept noticing other shoppers taking those bags free of charge. Must’ve been because they were the same race as the attendants. Discrimination at its best. Let’s accuse the only white man in the store of stealing but also charge him for something we don’t charge others for. I now drive far out of my way to shop at another Walmart. Thank you for the great experience.

this Walmart store is not following the Walmart policy. The customer manager Jasmeet refused to follow the policy for doing the price match. And the item i bought which is not a clearance item.

This Walmart store absolutely hates infants and babies. You can wait for hours to get some baby food for your infants and keep begging associates to get someone to open the locked glass where they keep the formula but no help comes.. They have no humanity. The management should be ashamed for this kind of business decisions.

Writing this review for customers to be aware, there hand held scanners at the checkout but if you use them their staff will intimidate you to get all your stuff unloaded from trolley even though it says the scanners is for heavy items. I spoke to the manager on duty, he sounds helpless as this is a new rule imposed by the management, it looks like staff are having their own judgement to decide what is heavy. All in all, staff in this Walmart are not friendly, I have often heard they are fighting about their shift and others are busy collecting orders and unpacking items, only good thing about this store is that they have a wide range of Al Premium branded items.

Disgusting that they would sell spoiled meat. Bought a steak once the top side showing the meat looked fine. Went home and opened it to find the under side completely spoiled. Buyers beware of buying meat here

This Walmart is awesome!! It has everything we need. It is stocked nicely! They also have public washrooms. It is clean and well maintained. We can also get fresh meat here. They have wonderful collection of dresses, jackets and night dresses for women, men and children. There is also an electronics store. They also have a McDonald's. Thank you!

If there is 0 star rating, I would give them 0 star. Poor customer service, worse management team who would not listen to your "complaint or concerns". I would never come here again for anything. And I wouldn't suggest you to come here, especially for baby formula which is locked up.

Poor customer service, I have to returned some items today. The Indian lady doesn’t happy with I returned many items in once, she talked to another Indian lady in their language. No idea what they were talking about. And then she come to me said you only can return 3 items at time, never heard about that policy in any store!!!!!!!! It’s ridiculous!!!! That’s not on return policy or receipt. She just doesn’t want to do it. Poor customer service attitude! So asked her back , and let her know there is such policy. She was lack of patient, and just said wait for another lady. Another lady made me wait while to return all the items. Both of them can do this much better way, WHY they have to make me go through this???????? Take their attitude????? WHY????

It's a huge Walmart store with varieties of products ranging from clothes to all the grocery things. Also has fresh fruits and vegetables and some electronics. Basically this Walmart store has almost everything one needs in his/her daily life. The place is well maintained but sometimes lacks cleanliness. Other than that, staff is good.

It's Chinese New Year, and this Walmart is decked out in Chinese New Year decorations (red and gold balloons at the entrance, lots of red and yellow signage etc). Looks really nice. And it seems this location upgraded their overall designs of the store. Or it seems like it (it looks better than before). There's of course CNY deals and sales. I've been to this location many, many times... And I've never seen a "Reduce To Clear" section, unlike the other Walmarts that I've been too. Today, I somehow found out that there is a very, very small "Clearance" section just shoehorned into the corner of the Meals To Go area. Obviously, I was surprised and also quite happy. I was able to nab a discounted premade meal for literally half the price. Sometimes you can find some really good deals in that area, and sometimes... Or, well, most times the discounted deals aren't that discounted. Most times there are food items that are either heavily discounted or discounted enough where I could somehow convince my mom to get the food item that I wanted to try. I assume they have the other "Reduced To Clear" sections in the other parts of the Walmart (raw meats, other refrigerated foods etc). The store is clean and the aisles aren't too close to each other either. It's also in full swing in Valentine's... So I assume there are Valentine's sales too.

I came this Wednesday morning around 7am, and they lock the $5-7 shaving items. I needed some and the brown lady working in that section gave it to me and started harassing to quit shopping and pay for it at the cashier even though it was only a $7 item. So I had to quit shopping early because she was harassing and yelling at me. You shouldn’t give these people jobs who make people not want to shop here anymore. Every single time there is a problem at this Walmart. I suggest going to a Walmart where it is not 95% newly immigrant brown people working there because I’ve had so many problems here. I am disgusted. Walmart will not take action as usual

We came to the Walmart at Markham and steel which is located at steel avenue and the cashier at the merchandiser was very improper the way she talk to me is very rude and her name is “FARHAT”. Very poor attitude and she need to change the way of approaching customer. People need some space when they do shopping and she is really terrible by her look and attitude they way she approach us.very disgusted. Not a place to recommending the service as good. I been coming to this location since they open never had issue like this very ☹️

This Walmart Supercentre has outsourced their produce, meat and seafood departments. On the plus side, you get more variety to pick from. However, since there is live seafood, it does add to fishiness smell to it. There is a larger foreign foods section compared to other Walmarts. There are other unique mini retailers onsite, like lottery stand, McDonald's, nail salon, Sleep Country Express. Easy to navigate parking lot onto Steeles Ave East or Markham Road via traffic lights.

I love this Walmart ! They literally have everything They have a huge selection of plan in their garden center from fruit, flowers etc… Their drug / pharmacy department size was INSANE. Its huge and have nearly all of the beauty brand which a way more affordable price compare to Shoppers in my opinion. You can literally get mostly everything at one stop from this place from foods, plants, pharmacy, household to glasses or even Mc Donalds inside them !! How convenience is that. The place was clean, tidy and not a lot of people even when we come here on a Sunday

This is the only Walmart Supercentre close to me and we have been coming here for decades. The service has always been sub-par but today has been the worst. Cashier OP#003250 (young man with glasses) at cash register 18 is beyond rude. He overcharged us by $5.00 and when we noticed the discrepancy, he started yelling at us, blaming us in the wrong and showing us a lot of attitude. We had to go to customer service and tried to explain our situation but they were beyond unhelpful and also showed attitude but eventually refunded us the change. I understand that we are all trying to make a living and survive in this economy, but we should also be courteous and treat each respectfully, regardless of our occupation or how much we earn. The world needs more kindness these days. This Walmart is also unorganized and there is a lack of cashiers, which lead to long wait times and customers getting frustrated. We have always had the best interaction and experience with Kitty, who is sweetest ever, and had formed an amazing relationship with my daughter. Also, not to mention, the lady, who’s the supervisor at McDonald’s is rude to customers for no apparent reason. - To Walmart Management, please BETTER train and discipline your staff to better serve customers. It seems like the hiring process is way too lenient these days. We will now go to farther Walmart’s like the one at CF Markville and the Copper Creek Walmart as we have always received exceptional customer service there.

Seriously this is the quietest I've ever seen Walmart come on so I highly recommend this one I know we're all gearing up for boxing week soon and I get the feeling this one will have the least amount of rush I want so I'm planning on coming here, the layout of the store is a little bit different from others, But the footprint is really white so it's a big open store I also have a clinic in the far side of the parking lot which opens up into the mall and they do dental and other services as well I actually came in for COVID testing before my trip to the states and it was 20 minutes, and 20 dollars.. a fantastic deal!

One of the best, biggest and most robust shopping places in Scarborough. Highly recommend for groceries and general shopping.

I went to do my weekly grocery shopping yesterday and it was my first time coming to this Walmart. The staff was very helpful, especially Sarika, she helped me in figuring out where what exactly is and also made sure that my checkout experience was good throughout! Her professionalism and great mannerisms while greeting the customers will definitely make me want to come to this store again.

One of the best clothing selections of all the Walmart's I go to. However there wasn't a single basket to be found on my last trip over a week ago. I had to go outside again and find a cart. They used to be quite unique with all the Asian inspired stuff such as fresh noodles for stir fries and so forth. Now unless I want a better selection of clothes this is one I won't go out of my way for.

Pretty clear sectioning but the subsections are not that clear or finding the socks within the clothing section, men’s vs Womens. They have a garden centre in the summer which is nice.

Very good store. We always find what we want. Good collection of kids toys, cloths n shoes. Markville walmart is closer to our home, but that's very worst store n staff I have ever seen..we mostly come to this store for shopping. Only problem is to find a cart, but its customer's responsibility too to put the cart back to the stand properly. we always enjoy shopping there. Overall very good experience. 👍

Not a friendly environment. Pull needle so far from vain that is. Causing pain. When I ask technician to do it properly she become rude and said I know my job. No one explained me about checking results online. I ask her name for review, all staff become strange. I hope they will process my sample properly.

Large building with wide aisles, full supercentre with abundant sections for beer, supermarket, pharmacy, electronics, toys, clothing, home furnishings and a renovated McDonald's - some of the supermarket aisles could however be redesigned for heavier traffic flow...

Zero Star rating. Walmart ... Bad customer service. They advertise items and you go over there and items are not available... WHY?? they say it didn't get delivered. They don't give you rain check either. Wouldn't shop there.

Anyone that goes to this location needs to avoid a cashier named John (with glasses). The employee has no care at all for products and started slamming them past the conveyer belt like he was playing wack-a-mole and 3 items my family purchased was damaged and one of them is a glass product

I would really like to commend James from Photo Lab Centre for an outstanding customer service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I came in last Sunday looking for a particular doll for my niece for her birthday. Of course I tried to see for myself if I could find the doll on the shelves (*sometimes items are behind other items or put in a different place) but to no avail. I don’t really like to ask help because most of the time they will just tell you if it’s not on the shelf, it’s sold out. So I asked James for some assistance. And let me tell you this man went the extra extra over and beyond to find the doll. He went to the aisle, checked the boxes (*merch) that are still wrapped in plastic to check if the item I was looking for was waiting to be put to the shelf and check the stockroom. He found the doll. So I just like to say that James is the bomb! Excellent customer service.

Enjoy their display of fruits and vegetables. Was optimistic about buying fish after having terrible experience, but was satisfied that their fish didn't have that awful smell like the other fish establishment. Keep it up

I like this Walmart as it has a large variety of ethnic veggies, and packaged foods. They also have a live fish section where you can choose your fish and they will clean it for you. They used to have fresh halal meat, but they do not anymore.

terrible service. the employees will take 10 minutes to see you wanting to pay at self checkout if you dont speak up. the washrooms are gross, half the locks on the stalls are broken. all the employees are absolutley HORIBBLE. no offense but most of them are stupid, old people who cant speak english, and there’s like 3 employees per a self checkout section which dont pay any attention to if anyone needs help. the lady that was helping me took 25 MINUTES to figure out what wasnt scanned.

HIGHLY suggest diversity training. Such a shame you hire racist sales associates given this location is in a highly diverse area. FARHJAT at self-checkout (Saturday January 21, 2023 at approximately 6:10pm) was incredibly rude and would not leave myself and my partner alone. In fact, she was so close to us physically at self-checkout it made my partner and I extremely uncomfortable. When asked if she needed anything, she did not move an inch and proceeded to be up against our backs. It’s no coincidence she did this to the only black minority at self-checkout at the time. Making customers feel uncomfortable and upset and as if they are in an unsafe environment is unacceptable, especially when you are behaving in that manner purely because of the colour of their skin. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time my partner has been followed around and mistreated based on his skin colour by associates at this location. Avoid this location unless you want to be racially profiled.

Great collections for Toys.. if you are looking for collectibles, then this is the goto place in Toronto.

Says that alcohol serving time ends at 11:00 but they really stop serving at 10:55. Is it really that hard to just put that on the sign and not have people waste their time? C'mon walmart easy solution just fix the time.

This store even after renovations seems extremely disorganized. The Yarn and wool section is supposed to be one side of the aisle, it's chaos mixed up and no one has ordered any of the yarn purchased since last summer. Let's chat about the Plaza and garage who ever the Plaza employs for cleaning up should fire them. Garbage all over the Plaza constantly and if you compare this to other sections of the city it looks like a garbage dump not a super center

Everything about this location is quite great but some of the employees lie to the naive customers just to make profit for their own good……. The particular thing they lie about is walmart reward card which is not exactly the reward cards but the credit card …… These employees doesn’t know the impact of such thing on a customer the girl name Sarika offered me a credit card by lying that this just the reward card and m gonna get $45 by applying this …. So m just writing this to make sure that customers won’t get trapped in such things the way i did

This has got to be the worst Wal Mart in the city!! It's has to be poorly managed as the stock on some items are never there and when you call to find out if it has been replenished, no one ever picks up the phone! I've stood there and recorded customer service literally doin nothing and as I call and their conversation between each other seems to be more important than doin their job and picking up the phone. Terrible service overall...nothing like other locations.
