Bestview can be discounted at this season, but not by much. It was a nice Sunday morning, it was kind of busy, at least on the main trail. Took the side trail on and off along the Don River from the Bestview Park to Finch and back. The path under Cummer was under construction. A very nice walk, it was about 6km.

South of Bestview Park (with a hill that has been used for sledding by kids winter 2021/2022), there is a small patch of forest on the hills through which the paved path runs. You can stay on the pavement for an easy walk but in this patch of forest there are some fairly tall trees (relative to the others trees in the surrounding neighborhoods) and you can find them by following the off pavement dirt paths. Amongst the trees are well built stairs that connect the paths at the top and bottom of a large slope. No winter maintenance as the city likes to say. But it's fun to find the stairs as you wander along taking a breather from the city and looking for the tallest trees. Beavers have been gnawing their way through trees January 2022. Trees, hills, flowing water, are all there in about a 15-30 minute walk around. Let's appreciate and care for our precious slices of ravine nature flora and fauna in our city. See you out there!

The trail is a city trail located in Bayview . Just a 15 minutes drive to this Natural reserve park trail. It can be a long trail if you want to continue to Leslie or Sheppard. I parked in front of the park and hiked to the main trail. The forest is beautiful and quiet. I saw a lot of birds along the creek. Part of the trail is a paved path, a nice nature walk It's flat, so it's an easy hike. Dog is allowed to enter to the park. But must be on leash. There are several areas for parking.

Fantastic trails along German Mills creek and Don River. There's a paved path for bikes/walking, and forest trails branching off the main path. Really cool natural place ta walk around in any season. The only thing is during the day when everyone's at work, this park is a bit empty and got some strange people 😬 but otherwise all great 👍 plenty free parking along small streets adjacent to the park entrances.

Nicely paved trail, some parts of the trail has lots of trees and is well shaded. At time, there are too many cyclists going very fast, and they don't dismount as requested by posted signs. Hope they know that they are ruining the trail experience for others.

Lovely winding path along the river. Pretty flat, so easy to traverse in winter. Nice place to walk the dog close to home. Fairly well travelled though. Too many people for us on a Sunday.

Easy hiking trail connected to East Don Valley trail. Good for running, cycling, dog walking. Nearby Bestview Park has children's playground, tennis court, baseball court. No Public parking. No Public washroom.

Great walking trails in North York. Street parking on Garnier Ct or Bestview Dr. Walking along the creeks is beautiful. Would visit again.

My husband and I, and my daughter and boyfriend and their dog came for a walk with my husband and I. It was really nice to revisit this trail. It had been quite a while since we've been there. There were lots of people out for a walk with their family, their boyfriend/girlfriend, or just enjoying the nice weather. We parked at the shoppers drug mart parking lot.and walked over. It's a very nice place to walk and get some fresh air and excercise.

Really nice northend part of the Don Trail by German Mills. It's a lot less busy to the main Don Trail since it's tucked inside a neighbourhood. It's a really nice trail with long stretcheabof paved ground if you need an easier walk. There's a nice creek that runs through and often people are fishing for trout, etc. here.
