I have been here only once so my review is just based on one experience. It's pretty close to the subway station which is convenient. The place is super tiny and doesn't have change rooms. If you don't arrive early, you may not find a pole. I was early so didn't have an issue. The instructor was nice but I feel like she wasn't too trained to teach. I also don't like how they mix super beginners and more experienced beginners in one session. I think they need to introduce a real beginner level 1 and beginner level 2. This way it'll be easier for the instructor to manage the class and students' expectations. The more advanced students will get bored and become impatient if the instructor focuses on really basic beginner stuff or stops the lesson to help the beginners. And the real beginners will feel overwhelmed with the pace. I know that most beginner yoga and Pilates class have the same concept but this is more challenging than let's say yoga so it's important to establish the very basics first before even moving to choreography. I think photography wasn't allowed..I don't have any pictures to share but again very small place.

I’ve been attending classes here since October. The environment is so inclusive and supportive! Most of the instructors challenge you to improve and have helped me tremendously in my learning! I’ve been able to conquer my own fears and seen my confidence improve as I slowly trust myself over time. My strength has really improved and increased over time as well! The space is also clean and hygienic. One of the highlights in my week honestly and so glad I took the chance on coming. Looking forward to my future and journey with pole at Redefine Fit ❤️

Love this studio! All of the instructors are welcoming and accommodating to the skills you know. They are also amazing at recognizing the level of the class and working with each person rather than having someone fall behind. The owner is incredibly kind and well organized! Great place to learn pole!

THE MOST INCLUSIVE & ENCOURAGING SPACE IN TORONTO. Don't go anywhere else to learn pole! Joanne's beginner co-hort classes are the best and you progress efficiently on a weekly basis. Side effects of her classes are: boost in confidence and self esteem, meet like-minded folks who cheer you on and body positivity!

Such a great studio - welcoming, friendly, great instructors and small class sizes. Plus they offer other classes in addition to pole. A great choice for anyone looking to have a lot of fun while getting a good work out!

I’ve visited a few pole dance/fitness studios in and around Toronto, but I continue to be a frequent—and proud!—student of Redefine Fit. When I started pole dance over a year ago, Redefine Fit was the most welcoming studio, made up of inspiring instructors and students of varying levels of experience. If you’ve never touched a pole before or consider yourself a beginner in pole dance/fitness, then you’re in good hands: The instructors make learning pole dance very approachable! In particular, Joanne, who is both the studio owner and an instructor, is really great at tailoring your learning to your capabilities and personal goals. I always look forward to coming to this TTC-accessible studio: There are a variety of classes that happen each week, including mastering pole dance fundamentals, conditioning for getting stronger, improving flexibility, and learning fun (and sensual) choreography, among others! The biggest highlight for me though, is the sense of community this studio has built: No matter how you got started in pole and for how long (or not long) you’ve been enjoying it, everyone is supportive of each other’s growth and accomplishments. Highly recommend checking out Redefine Fit (and hopefully see you and say hi)! 👋🏼

I've been going to this studio for a couple years. It's community focused and accessible for beginners. It's a non judgmental space with passionate instructors. The owner is lovely and entirely accommodating. The best part is that the classes are a ton of fun.

My girlfriends and I had a blast during our private group pole class with Joanne for a bachelorette! Joanne was so friendly and encouraging. She broke down the steps and made it so simple and easy to follow. We left feeling so much more confident and excited for the next pole class opportunity. The pole class was the bride’s favorite activity on her bachelorette given how fun it was. It was easy to book as well. We highly recommend Joanne and her studio!

I have been to about 3 beginner classes and couldn’t believe how easily I was picking up the choreography and actually able to pull myself up on the pole. You really don’t need to be fit already to do this, it is a work out for sure and you’ll be sweating but don’t be worried if your level of fitness is lower - mine was and I just took extra breaks if I needed to catch my breath. Everyone is so supportive of each other and the teacher (Vina) I had all 3 times was sooo amazing. I am definitely going to start coming back again soon because it’s such a confidence booster and a fun way to get fit!!!

I had a blast here at a private dance class I did with my friends for my birthday! It was the most fun and exciting part of my celebration and I can’t wait to sign up for more classes soon! The instructor Joanne is amazing and supportive! She taught us a lot of skills and tips and cheered us on throughout the session! I’m so grateful for this wonderful experience and I highly recommend Redefine Fit to anyone who wants to try something new and empowering!

Taking classes at redefine fit has been my favourite thing since I moved to Toronto. You will not find a community anywhere else that is so welcoming! I also love that they don’t have a set curriculum and do their best to cater classes towards what students want to learn as well as skill level. Best studio ever!! 💙💚

I took classes consistently for two years until I moved away for school. This is my favorite pole studio. I love taking classes with Jeanie, Jane, Mariya, Queenie, just to name a few and I love the pole community here. Joanne puts a lot of effort into making this studio look sparkling clean and fully equipped with all the tools you need in class such as towels, sprays, peanuts, and yoga blocks. They offer online classes now so give it a try if you are looking to exercise at home with an awesome group!

I take virtual classes from my home and I’m a big fan. The instructors are very kind and extremely knowledgeable. I very much appreciated the virtual option during Covid.
