👍👍 One of my favourite sushi restaurants in Tokyo, simple and delicious. Small premises, catering for up to 9 diners, so usually a queue, a testament to the quality and value. Had the tuna set, unagi and crab gunkan, all delicious. Friendly smiling chefs and waitress. People often mention sushi, wait,

This is the best sushi place I've ever been.....price is so reasonable and the food is awesome....the best is the otoro,aburi-toro and aburi-engawa....those are the top 3 i keep ordering....definitely its a must if you are in Ikebukuro....the wait is worth it...shop is a stand up location....it is close to exit C6 across from the supermarket....if you are coming from the station it is on your left and if you are coming from the stairs it is on the right side...last shop from the station and the 1st shop on the stairs ...they have an English menu so it makes it easier to order if you are not a Japanese speaker....i highly recommend this sushi place....good atmosphere and friendly staff....

Quality sushi at reasonable prices! The toro tuna and salmon are so good. Even the regular salmon is delicious and melts in your mouth 🤤. This restaurant is super tiny and there are no chairs. There are two tiny tables that each accommodate 2 people and 5 spots at the bar, which means a maximum of 9 people can be served at a time. Luckily, we didn’t have to wait for long. Only about 15 minutes in a Tuesday night. Ordering is done through a tablet at your take. All of it is in Japanese. By default, most of the sushi come with a smidge of wasabi, so make sure to modify your order if you don’t like it. The sushi chefs are quick and when you’re done eating, you pay outside and they accept credit cards! This was a pretty fun and delicious experience.

Fuss free, standing sushi place. Good value for money. Easy to order even without an English menu. Satisfied with all the pieces I ordered!

This place was a chance find since our airbnb was close by, and we came late in the afternoon at around 3pm so the wait was only 15mins. BUT WOW this was seriously the best sushi we have had in our whole 13 day Japan trip. The sushi was so fresh and handmade in front of you moments before you eat. The prices were unbelievably cheap too, and you can custom order your sushi plate (starts from 50JPY per piece?!???!). We ate until we were full and make no mistake we came into this restaurant starved, yet we only paid 2,200JPY between TWO PEOPLE (which was $12.50AUD average for each person) for a highly affordable version of an omakaze basically. Please try this if you’re ever in Tokyo! Ikebukuro is only a few stops away on the Yamemote JR line and you can find the shop underground in Echika. It’s unfortunate that we couldn’t give this more than 5 stars! Enjoy!!

Best kept secret in Tokyo! Fresh fresh sushi lunch for 500 JPY until 3pm. We went at 2:30pm and the wait was only 10 minutes. I’ve waited over an hour there at normal meal times before. Sushi is so cheap, almost cheaper than the Kantei type but the quality is way better. Photo menu available! Hard to find, in an underground mall called “Echika” connected to Ikebukuro also near BIC Camera. TLDR - cheap sushi high quality. If you don’t want the long wait just grab the pre made boxes to go!

It is a little bit tricky to find as it is underground. I went with my husband after reading the reviews. We both agree that this is one of the best sushi restaurant tried so far! Fresh delicious fish prepared in front of you. English menu and perfect service. Price is also very good. We spent around 1300 yen each, super full. I have told them it was very good with Google translate as I wanted to make sure they knew we were satisfied. We definitely recommend this place! Arigato

Best sushi I've had ever. Located in the ikebukuro station. Prices were cheap ($1-3/piece). My favorites we're the salmon and fatty tuna pieces. There's a bit of a wait but totally worth it. Standing room only and you can make tea with matcha powder at your station.

Fresh raw material, quick serve, great taste of sushi. Even people who do not eat raw food love them. The store provide take away and sit-in option (anyway there are tables for standing with seats).

Good sushi, fair price. Standing room only, no seats. Underground level of Ikebukuro train station at C6 exit. Only nine spots to stand. Chances are you will have to wait. Order by tablet in Japanese language only. There are pictures but you need basic Japanese reading ability to complete your otder. It's worth a short wait. Try pre-packaged take-out if you don't want to wait. I've already been back a few times.

Excellent sushi. Small and standing room only but well worth it. Have your sushi made fresh right in front of you. Take away packs also available from next to register.

Stand up Restuarant for the famous midori sushi. Menu is not as much as big branch but quality is still the same.

Overall, Mindoro Sushi chain’s sushi freshness and quality is better than other conveyor belt sushi chain stores with reasonable price. There is often a queue, so you may want to plan accordingly to avoid long queue.
