Please
see
below
for
what
this
park
used
to
be
like.
I
posted
that
review
five
years
ago
(2017).
Now
(2022)
the
lake
has
been
drained.
The
toilets
condemned
(by
the
looks
of
it)
and
locked
out
of
use.
The
park
wardens
are
gone.
You
can
only
access
the
park
from
one
entrance.
They
have
closed
off
pathways.
The
fountains
in
the
park
and
just
outside
are
no
longer
working.
There
is
a
building
site
right
next
door
to
the
pond
area.
Workspeople
use
a
path
in
the
park
to
go
to
their
hut
now.
The
only
animals
left
are
a
couple
of
chickens.
What
a
shame.
I
hope
the
turtles
and
fish
etc
were
rehomed
at
least.
This
place
has
gone
to
the
dogs!!
We
used
to
love
sitting
here
for
a
few
hours
in
the
sun
watching
the
turtles
and
to
see
the
fish
jumping
out
of
the
lake.
Now
it
looks
like
a
post
apocalyptic
scene.
Shame
on
Marseille
council!!
They
paved
paradise
.
.
.
.
2017:
Have
been
here
many
times
on
visits
to
Marseille.
Great
place
to
sit
for
a
few
hours
and
picnic.
Toilet
facilities
are
available
though
always
smell
and
you
need
to
bring
paper
(good
to
know!)
The
park
is
patrolled
by
parks
department
people
and
is
in
good
condition.
You
do
see
fish
and
chickens
in
there
too.
There
are
a
couple
of
lake
areas
as
well
as
grassy,
stone
and
play
areas
as
well.
Really
nice
up
there
and
full
of
locals
too.
