Hi there, I will start with pros: Anthony (owner) really very helpful and energetic person, you will like him. Home near the castle. And that's all from proses. In reality it is home bought by young family, which trying to build they B&B business. So, you will get all the cost effective things: tiles glued only on one pool corner, huge bottle of cheap liquid soap instead shampoo and shower gel, very minimalistic breakfast (I saw how pare of seniors stolen bread from another table, because all food strictly dosed), greasy garage for 15 EUR instead parking etc. And if you will arrive after 20:00 they will ask for 20 EUR of penalty, although owner lives about 15 meters from this home. All for price of normal or high class apartments. You can choose 2 options: donate this family and help to build their B&B business, or simply choose another place (strictly recommend). This is a small hotel superbly run by Antoine. He greets his guests personally and gives them a tour of the hotel. He even serves complimentary iced teas to his guests at the poolside. The rooms are decorated to a high standard and have almost silent air conditioning. A huge bonus is the huge fridge freezer and microwave at the guests' disposal. The hotel is a credit to Antoine

I found this Guest house on Google when we decided to come to Carcassonne. Me and my wife are in the beautiful city of Carcassonne for a week. So far we have been really pleased, our room is clean and big with double sinks and a fantastic shower. Above all there's a big fridge in the sitting area where you can put your water or your cool beer which is helpful in 37 degrees heat. Anthony has been helpful, with an early check-in, restaurant recommendation, early breakfast (outside the normal time) and advice about getting to the airport. He is friendly, welcoming and kind. We left a positive review of the city if Carcassonne and recommended a staying in this Guess House .
