My
family
was
looking
for
a
buffet
restaurant
and
so
we
googled
for
one
around
this
area.
We
found
and
decided
on
Royal
Gourmand
La
Teste
after
we
read
the
reviews
and
heard
about
the
good
food
and
great
service
from
friends
and
neighbours.
What
surprised
us
when
we
got
there
was
how
large,
bright,
and
well-decorated
the
restaurant
was.
The
place
was
fully
packed
with
diners
by
the
time
we
got
there.
We
were
greeted
with
smiles
as
we
walked
in,
the
ambiance
was
warm
and
lovely,
with
a
soft
relaxing
music
video
playing
in
the
background.
The
staff
was
friendly
and
engaging
as
she
led
us
to
our
table.
There
were
many
families
there
and
I
noticed
a
playroom
at
the
far
corner
where
little
ones
were
playing
and
having
fun
while
their
parents
stole
time
for
undisturbed
meals.
As
for
the
food,
the
buffet
spread
was
extensive,
surely
a
foodie’s
dream.
I
could
see
that
diners
here
were
spoilt
for
choice,
with
a
wide
spread
of
Chinese
delicacies,
fresh
seafood,
exquisite
Japanese,
and
savoury
fruits
and
desserts.
My
wife
turned
to
me
and
said,
“For
this
price,
just
having
the
seafood
and
grilled
giant
shrimps
would
already
be
worth
it.”
I
nodded
in
full
agreement.
We
really
enjoyed
the
food.
The
fried
rice
and
noodles
were
absolutely
delicious,
the
samosas
were
crispy
and
tasty,
the
beef
tasted
pure
and
mellow,
the
chicken
was
tender,
and
the
selection
was
a
higher
standard
than
we
have
had.
My
wife
ate
the
most
I’ve
ever
seen
her
eat
and
she
claimed
that
this
must
be
the
best
buffet
here.
She
then
topped
it
off
with
a
few
scoops
of
sinful
vanilla
and
chocolate
ice
cream.
Both
of
us
ate
so
much
that
we
needed
a
rest
before
asking
for
the
tab.
And
looking
at
the
price
we
paid
to
end
a
great
afternoon,
it
was
surely
value
for
money!
Overall,
the
ambiance
was
spot
on,
the
service
was
great,
and
the
food
was
way
beyond
my
food
critic
wife’s
expectations.
Surely
a
perfect
setting
and
a
great
buffet
restaurant
for
families
and
people
of
all
ages.
I
highly
recommend
Royal
Gourmand
La
Teste
without
reservations.
