Stunning, simply stunning. From the moment you enter and are greated the experience begins. With our basic French, the host had studied the menu and took time to explain in English. Each dish of each course was sublime. My compliments to the chef or should I say chefs. Will return.

Amazing welcomed by the owner who is of a special kindness and so professional ! The food is only top quality , dishes are creative and ingredients fresh as they also have a vegetable garden . My lentils and prawn entree was tasty and fresh same as my husband’s scallops . Perfectly cooked tuna fish and young deer fillet and the best fruits of their garden crumble with home made pine juts ice cream to die for ! Best sangria and good wines !

Unquestionably the best restaurant in town. Using only the finest local ingredients, each dish is a work of art. After dining there for 10 years (since it opened) I still never tire of it. Fred (front of house) and David (chef) make a wonderful team.

You enter as a customer and leave as a friend, a friend who has received the best service, the finest food and truly the warmest welcome. The best food we've eaten in France since arriving in June and we've eaten a lot of food including Michelin starred. Today's lunch surpassed them all in every way. A beautiful establishment in picture perfect Ceret; an outstanding menu with the best pork that we have EVER eaten; copious portions and love, passion and attention to detail from everyone in this wonderful restaurant. We were enchanted and we will be back again and again. Thank you so much.

Always stunning food, amazing service and great wine. Whenever we visit Ceret, Fred's is a must, which is usually once a year yet Fred always remembers us and ensures that we have a wonderful evening. Cannot rare Freds highly enough!
