One of our favourite campsites in France! The location is hard to beat on the banks of the Dordogne, especially watching the hot air balloons overhead at sunset! Generous shady and private pitches, clean facilities, a great bar, several activities for children, and a lovely pool. We also booked a kayak trip with the campsite and it was fantastic; 10km seems like a long way with children but with the current of the river, it was very manageable and enjoyable. Highly recommend.

We had an incredible time camping here. The campsite is located right next to the Dordogne river and at the base of the majestic Château de Beynac. We rented a tent that was fully furnished and equipped with everything we need, including a small kitchen with running water and electricity. The bathroom facilities were very clean with great water pressure in the showers. The enormous pool was a huge highlight after a hot day of exploring the area. There are also table tennis facilities.

We visited in August last year and had the best camping experience. The campsite is beautiful and the staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. Lots to do and see and the location of the site next to the river with the castle up above is fab. We are booked in again this August but we will have to see if anything changes regarding Covid. Highly recommend this site

Great campsite at the foot of a beautiful village. Very spacious plots and quiet at night with clean facilities. Lots for the children to do too. You might get woken up by the hot air balloons, but they’re lovely to watch over breakfast!

Beautiful campsite in a great location. Friendly staff and good sized pitches. The site has a bar, restaurant and a pool with local shops just around the corner. Will definitely come back here.

Lovely campsite, clean facilities, nice pool area, Riverside walk, and a simply stunning view of chateau Beynac. Nice, shaded pitch, but be aware that electric hook-ups are spread a long way apart, so we had to use 2 x 15M cables. We will return again.

Great size and shaded pitch. Fully serviced. Clean toilets and showers. Amazing swimming pool. On the banks of the Dordogne. I've had a few insect bites and we're on the far side from the river. Lovely mix of nationalities. Nice bar - good selection of beer. Different food truck each evening - we had pizza - delicious. Boulangerie, butcher and small supermarket just over the road. Few restaurants within walking distance. Hot air balloon noise at 7am - they're actually quite noisy - but rather than grumble- get up and take a look at them... beautiful. Would def stay here again and totally recommend it.

One of our best experience at this very nice camping. Our only dissatisfaction were the closed trampolines, we made a reservation nearby them but couldn’t use them. Friendly receptionist helped us to move to an other pitch nearby the pool. And after a few days the trampolines where fixed, so happy after all. The rest; location, bar, pool, sanitair, staff, environment, everything perfect!

Really pleased First time using the campsite and had a great stay. The campsite and facilities were immaculate, language was no problems and sufficiently quiet after 11pm. Met many other people who had been coming for several years and under stood why.

Beautiful, scenic and perfect site Great pitch, outstanding views of Castle and River. Good electric water and drain points on our pitch. Best are by the riverside.

A review of this place from me is long overdue! Quite simply, a great favourite among the many French campsites we have visited. We have stayed there numerous times and have already booked for 2023. The location, alongside the Dordogne River an easy ten-minute stroll into the village of Beynac, cannot be beaten, but that's only part of the story. A pleasant bar, with plentiful seating outside beneath the trees, a variety of mobile catering services that arrive each evening during high season, and a small supermarket, butcher/deli and bakery opposite almost complete the picture. Almost? Well, the review wouldn't be complete without mentioning the helpful, friendly staff!

Perfect location to explore the area from. We arrived when the reception was closed and accidentally disturbed their lunch (sorry!) but they could not have been any more friendly and inviting. We got to drive onto site and choose whichever pitch suited us, which was great! Right on the river with a view of Beynac Chateau - perfect. You couldn’t be closer to walk up into Beynac and there is a small shop, boulangerie and cafe opposite. Small drive to surrounding areas which are beautiful to explore. Toilets and showers were clean. Overall a great stay on the Dordogne river - amazing.
