This place serves the best seafood in town, probably because the restaurant owner is also the supplier of seafood to the supermarket. As such to locate it, go to the seafood section of Maroot supermarket. Chanced upon this as it is just inside the shopping mall adjacent to the Toyama Shinkansen station. Food is really quite decent given that the price is generally on the cheaper side. Order through the 2 kiosk machine, and it is easy to use unlike some review said it is difficult. It's as simple asbordering McDonald - just look at the photos. Paymemt usint cash and not credit cards. Note that almost all items came in 2 prices, the more expensive one (like Y500 more) came with a fish head miso hotpot. I doubt not many tourists know how to enjoy that, but it is really great for me.

Went there only because we saw it has 4 stars on google and regretted very much. Fish are tasteless (at least those few kinds that we try), rice are poorly cooked, staff are not very helpful (I have brought a box of Chutoro, the staff at the cashier only try to find if someone can cut after asking, I mean you expect us to eat the full piece like a steak? btw this is the most tasteless Chutoro I have ever eaten, and it costed 2100yen+330yen). The dinner would be much more enjoyable if we had choosen other restaurant, definitely not recommend.

Took a while to find the place because it was tucked behind the mall's supermarket. Ordering took a bit of effort as the machine was only in Japanese. But the meal portions were plentiful and delicious. My family enjoyed the sashimi and sushi, and I loved the fried fish set which came with an assortment of fishes and one large ebi shrimp. Im no gourmet, but everything tasted high quality to me, and service was fast and efficient.

We liked the way it works, good and fast self service with a pleasant eating space. The sushis and sashimis were pretty good but not astounding as we expected from Toyama. Prices are good. All in all, a decent, easy and handy experience (conveniently located adjacent to the station).

Reasonably priced fresh seafood restaurant near Toyama Station in Maroot. It's a cafeteria-style restaurant where you get tickets for your food from a vending machine then pick up your order and carry it to your table yourself. You bus your own table. That said, it's a popular place and the tables are often full. The food is good if relatively simple. They have meal options as well as cooked options for those who don't or can't do raw seafood.

The Sushi platter was really great. Didn't enjoy the Oyester though 😅

Nice quiet place for Sunday dinner. Ordered via touch screen station which took payment in card and cash and was able to return change when cash is used. I like my sashimi bowl, especially the minced tuna. Convenient location, next to Toyama Station.

Great little restaurant connected to a fish market with freshly made sushi and sashimi. Available for dine in with several tables and seats indoor as well as take out orders. Located on the back side of Maroot Mall across the street from Toyama JR station. Very convenient place to grab dinner.

Not a top quality sashimi. Just value for money meal. We arrived late afternoon from takayama and decided to have a quick meal.
