Had a lovely coffee and ridiculously huge doughnut 🍩 ☕ in the sunshine. Really nice place, next time I'll try the pizza which looks great too.

First class breakfast and first class service for us today! So good we came back for lunch! Enjoyed our walk around Dunham Massey and The Bridgewater Canal to walk it all off! Highly reccomended.

Amazing pizza, coffee and cake. Delicious food in the most beautiful spot; the perfect way to finish a walk in nearby Dunham Massey park.

Amazingly beautiful cafe, absolutely charming and very nice staff. Plus... dogs are very welcome! :) This place is unique and well worth a visit for a well deserved home cooked breakfast after a nice walk in the countryside. It is located very close from Dunham Massey park as well.

Aug 2022: The Dunham Barn, established in 2020 is a cosy cafe (in a barn) located very close to Dunham Massey and is a wonderful stop off place to grab a bite to eat before or after your walk around Dunham Massey Estate. We had toasted ciabattas and crisps. The Barn also serves beers from the Dunham Massey Brewing Company, located just around the corner. Onsite car park available, dog friendly, and with plenty of spacious indoor and outdoor seating available, it's a great venue. It also holds dog events monthly!

I had visited Lavender barn several years ago but this was first time for a while. Now Dunham barn, the place was very busy but we managed to get a table for 6 of us. Food was delicious, including the vegan option for one of the group and served quite quickly considering how busy it was. Staff were lovely and we will definitely return. Thanks.

It’s a pleasant place to sit and eat. Unfortunately, on my visit, they had stopped serving meals early but there were still drinks and cakes available.

Really tasty breakfast, went for the large full English; 2 bacon, 2 fried eggs ,2 sausages (the best tasting pork sausages I've had in ages!), Bury black pudding, hash brown, mushrooms, beans and slice of toasted sourdough all washed down with a cup of great tasting coffee. Visited on Saturday and was fairly busy when we arrived, seems a popular place and I can understand why. Looking forward to visiting again and trying some of the other food on offer. Staff very friendly and passionate about their business. Highly recommended

Open on New Year's Day serving freshly made meals... Lovely cafe with cosy Christmas decorations and a cake selection to consider selling your soul for. On this occasion I went for Dunham Massey Ale Rarebit and a coffee (with a scone to take away for later). Close to Dunham Massey (10mins walk at most from the edge of the park) and worth considering if the queue for the lovely National Trust cafe looks a little daunting. Nice to support an independent business. The service is friendly and the food is delicious.

This was a totally random find. We needed a bit of lunch and had targeted somewhere else...but saw the sign and decided to see what it had to offer. We had absolutely stunning tomato soup ...the only downside was that they couldn't offer gluten free bread with one of the portions...this wouldn't be hard to sort...a loaf in the chiller and take it out a slice at a time. They could also then offer their toasted treats gluten free. Have recommended The Barn to relatives who live in the area and hadn't discovered it.

What a lovely place for my sister's September birthday tea. There were fifteen guests and my sister reserved the atmospheric open air part of the barn, under cover but essentially outside. The Barn staff provided delicious food and drinks, finished off with two scrumptious and stunning cakes. My guests ate these surrounded by rustic stylishness which wouldn't have looked out of place in a lifestyle magazine. Each nook and every table was adorned with gorgeous freshly picked flowers, just right for the rural setting. Friendly service too and a helpful attitude to the disabled guests and children in our party. My sister made a fine choice when she booked Dunham Barn.

Had breakfast here before going to Dunham Park. Plenty of choice on the menu and very tasty. We sat inside but there were also tables outside. The lady who served us was very friendly and made us very welcome. There is also a small barn that serves drinks and ice creams. Will definitely be returning.

Service seemed kinda annoyed we existed. mature cheddar on sandwich was so mature I cringed with every bite. A lot of the food was quite expensive for what we got, especially the drinks. Only got one orange juice for 3 quid and finished it in seconds. ‘‘Twas so small :(( Also don’t think a single sandwich for 9 quid is that coolio Also gave us really small glasses which isn’t a complaint I just found it funny. Mmmm tiny glass fit in my PALM!!

What a fantastic place! Well organised, efficient service and the food was excellent. I had a bacon sour-dough cob and apple pie, washed down with loose leaf tea. I thought the prices were very reasonable for good quality food. Just what was needed after a cold, wet ride on the bike! A view shared by our table.

Really accommodating for a lovely birthday lunch in beautiful surroundings and with delicious sandwiches. We also bought a birthday cake which was absolutely amazing. Couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and the barn had a really welcoming and chilled out atmosphere with lots of consideration for dietary requirements. Loved the artwork on the walls too! If I'm ever in the area again I'll be back, thank you!

We visited Santa’s grotto on Sunday 10th dec, it was brilliant, all the staff were all good and connected with our granddaughters, pointing out the North Pole animals and Santa’s reindeer, Santa was the best ever, engaging very well with the girls Please convey our thanks to him from Ivy and Penny

Father's Day Brunch - Excellent We love coming to the Dunham Barn. We arrived today to have some brunch, staff were rushed off their feet but we're still smiling after a very busy morning. The hot chocolate was the best we had in a long time, tasty sausage and bacon barms, the scrambled egg and bacon was delicious. My mum and I love coming here too, such a wonderful place. See you soon Rachel

I can't remember the last time I was here, however it was then called Lavender Barn Tea Room. It used to be a regular stop for my old cycling club. It was a nice visiting a place I haven't been to for a few years. It has change quite a bit. There is a lot more places to sit outside now and the inside looks better too. It was also busier today than I remembered. As I was cycling so I opted for a coffee and a flapjack which came to £6.95. The coffee was pretty good, but the star of the show was the flapjack, it was absolutely delicious. Great friendly service. Another cafe well worth a visit. There is plenty of space for parking. A nice little touch is the bike pump for cyclists.

We had two large breakfasts and they were great. Fresh, quality locally sourced food. The sausages and bacon were cooked well. The service was efficient and friendly.

Got taken here by a friend and it is amazing. I love the setting and the set up. The barn is fantastic and the outdoor seating was sheltered and sunny even in October. The scones were so fresh and they didn't skimp on the helpings of jam and cream which is important 🤣 Staff were fantastic and there was a lovely atmosphere with mixed clientele. Dog friendly is a huge bonus for us.

We celebrated our 33rd Wedding Anniversary today with an afternoon tea at The Dunham Barn and it was incredible. Excellent value for money and we paid a bit extra to upgrade to our favourite sandwiches with ciabatta which was no problem at all. The staff are friendly and Julie is always very obliging. The surroundings are great with lots of space. We visit the barn at least once a week and the service and food quality is always consistently good. Well worth a visit.

Stumbled upon this delightful place last Saturday. Celebrated the first day of their ice cream parlour. Honeycomb ice-cream was delicious. We later had a pot of tea shaded under the trees. Met the owner who was lovely as were the rest of the staff. Definitely recommend this place.... Looking forward to visiting this place regularly as it has so much to offer 😀

Love this place. Loved it as the Lavender Tea Rooms also and preferred that name, but the food here is awesome with vegetarian options to die for. Fabulous service also.

Great spot close to Dunham Massey. Wood fire pizza was delicious as was the coffee. Friendly staff and dogs allowed. Lots of outdoor space.

Had a lovely full cooked breakfast with my family. We doubled up for an extra £2, with a hot drink. Well worth a visit. This is definitely a place that I'll come back to. The cakes looked amazing but was too full up.

👍👍 Excellent bouldering centre, no longer has auto belays so it's purely a bouldering center. I think it's one of the largest in Europe. Check to make sure they're open for general climbing as they have events on that aren't advertised on their website and you'll be turned away at the door. They have...
