Dimsum places in Thailand are famous for the varieties and Laytrang 2 is no different. They have loads of choices, and some pretty unique choices that hardly I come across even in Thailand such as Roast Pork or Crab Meat Chee Cheong Fun or Yellow Curry Crab Meat Dimsum. The taste is average but service is pretty good. Only draw back on the service is not many of the wait staff speaks any English, probably Trang is a small town. The ambiance is nice - more like a cafe rather than your usual dimsum shop. Price wise is good too .. average market price (about 20b per dish).

We came here for a late breakfast so we didn't have much choice because all the other breakfast places are already closed. We were greeted by a lady quite tall, fair skin with black frame glasses. She have horrible attitude and just overall looks like she's done with this place.giving very lousy service and just over all rude. All the other staffs in the air conditioning hall never smile, including the manager. The food was average at best but we did enjoy the Trang pork bun. The male staffs at the dimsum station are very friendly and helpful. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place. We didn't enjoy especially the bad attitude staffs.

Dim sum here is so tasty with very reasonably price and many different dish to choose from. Highly recommend if you crave for old town dim sum on Trang

The tastes are clean and fresh, and there is a good variety of dim sum. Some of the staff can communicate in English which helps when selecting. You can sit inside with aircon or outside.

Local traditional dim-sum and coffee. Even this place was open all day but if you would like to have a good dim-sum choice, you should come here before 09:00hrs. After this time you will got very little choice for the food. Car parking lot was available at a garage opposite the store.

Great Dim Sum restaurant in Trang city. Very delicious dim sum baskets and noodle. A little on the expensive side but definitely worth a visit.

Great atmosphere and excellent food. The owner Ton sat with us for dinner and was a great host. He speaks good English and that helped us as tourists to talk about Trang and Thailand. Try the shrimp or crab dumplings. They are great! We also loved the yellow crab curry and the homemade lemon ice tea!

As others have mentioned, this place serves above average dim sum. Nothing blew us away, but everything tasted good. Service is quite slow: we waited 15 minutes to get a water and a lemonade, then 30 more minutes to get our food. The restaurant wasn't even busy at that time. They close at 2pm, which makes this place a good option for a leisurely lunch.

Nice dimsum place in Trang. The place is quite big but also a bit crowded. We went for breakfast around 9 and some nice menus were sold out. The dimsum is fresh and delicious but the food is quite slow.

Good dim sum, especially flat rice noodle sheets with roast pork and crab. Mellow ambiance with instrumental music in background.

The price is quite high but the taste is good for a la cart menu, Dim-sum menu not variety as the same.

A huge spread of dim sum. Wonder thru the maze of dim sum dishes and I will bet on it that you will be lost and can not make a decision. For me and my friends, I pick 1 of each..

Wow! Wow! Wow! We just stayed in Trang for a few days, and I convinced my girlfriend to have Dim Sum 2 days in a row. This was the second one that we tried. First place was really good, but this place was another level. Maybe the best Dim Sum that we have ever had. And as a bonus, you can get a decent coffee there.

Very nice ala carte dish, fish curry and garlic prawn are spicy. Prawn roll is good. Not only dim sum good

Love the crab roll and crab fried rice.
