This was our splurge on our trip to Sicily based on the reviews. It was definitely not worth the money. Our room was not in good repair, the door was rotten at the bottom and did not meet the ground causing bug problems. They did not turn on the AC that had not been serviced in while on when we came causing the room to be blazing hot in August. When we finally got the room cooled of the next day we went out and they came into the room to give fresh towels and turned off the power. This lead to the room to be hot yet again. We complained and they said it just what they do, which it is not as our friends were also staying and they didn’t do this to their room. The next day the same thing....The toilet seat is the cheapest plastic one I’ve ever seen. They have tons of Inness art decor laying around that is super dusty. Definitely NOT 4 star accommodations. However the food was very good. I would suggest to stay somewhere else and go eat at their restaurant.

We arrived in our campervan on a day of severe storms to a pre-booked pitch. The restaurant was closed because of the storms. There’s not a lot to do around the campsite in the evening, especially in bad weather. Admittedly, we were here in mid May before the season has really started and there may be more campsite activities later in the year. The toilet and show were dirty when we arrived and not particularly pleasant. Glad that we were the only guests using them There’s space for about 8 camper vans and there is a pool as well as some glamping and cabins. Not sure I would visit again, although it is handy for Erice, which you can see up on the mountain top. It’s about 30 mins drive away and worth a visit.

We unfortunately didn't have enough time to do a farm tour or taste their olive oil, and they hadn't started the new harvest process yet, but the rest of the stay was great with the following notes: - Amazing restaurant worth eating in even if you don't stay in their rooms, and in fact both nights was a 50/50 mix of locals having dinner out and folks staying in the rooms. They had a solid menu with many traditional Sicilian dishes, all were delicious, generous portions. Pizza was great too. - Pool was large and photo-worthy but when we managed to finally get to it in the late afternoon it was a bit too cool for adults and the mosquitoes had come out. In the summer heat it'd be perfect. - Room was clean and large with some rustic touches including the Virgin Mary hanging out in a few spots. Screens on windows was a nice touch, and AC worked well. - Location is good for a trip to Trapani (we went to the historic center, port area which presented as an authentic ancient seaside town that feels lived in by the residents) and Erice (amazing historic town, but more of a Disneyland experience in terms of shops, tourists, etc). The immediate surrounding area outside of Duca di Castelmonte was fairly run down, lots of trash on road and newer construction, but once you enter their estate all of this disappears. - wifi was very weak

Visited Sunday lunch, and the biggest downside of it was how big the portions are.. everything was absolutely tasty, couldn't get enough of the food.

This place has delicious Sicilian food with fresh ingredients, fine wine, and superb olive oil. And the hostess sings so well, which enhances our dining experience there in the great hall.

We had a lovely stay in Duca di Castelmonte with our kids! There is a great garden, pool and facilities, such as tennis court with football goals to play :) There is also a beautiful old style patio to enjoy your coffee in the morning and super tasty breakfast. We also received helpful recommendations what to do and visit from super friendly staff. Kids loved animals too. Recommend for families!

Love this place. The food in one of the best in th town. Everything is homemade and the produce are fresh from the Orto or local grower. Absolutely to stop by if you are around.

The place is just lovely - a slice of heaven, the staff so friendly and courteous and accomodating to every request. The rooms could use some upgrading, some of the rooms are very old and the first room we had was very old - bed squeaking, mirror all rusty and the ceilings needed repair but we didn't spend much time in the room so it didn't affect us much. If I were to suggest something it would be to consider a television set in the rooms and a kettle in the kitchen please! Other than that, can't complain. The place has animals: donkeys, horses, peacock, chicken, ducks, 2 lovely friendly dogs, turtles and cats so it's absolutely perfect for families with young children for that agriturismo experience. It is surrounded with open views of Erice and countryside. The pool area is clean, deckchairs available and everything immaculate. There are also two playgrounds (one of them needs some maintenance) but the other is great with a treehouse for children, swings, seesaw and slide. For meals they offer a set menu for 25 euro each of an a la carte. While I have mixed feelings about the set menu, I highly recommend their a la carte especially their agri pizzas which are to die for! All in all, great place for families and children of all ages and for those looking for a relaxing holiday.

This agriturismo is really worth visiting. The staff is nice, our appartment was private, big and good taken care off. This place is an 300 year old farm and really authentic. A lot of details and history here. There are also a lot of animals, cats, dogs, donkeys, chickens, turtels, you name it. Something that the kids really liked. The pool is big and situated in a beautiful garden and in the evening you can eat in their own restaurant which is populair with the locals (always a good sign)

Where to begin.... VERY unfriendly and rude staff. Pizza burned beyond belief hard to believe they even called it pizza. Crust burned center not cooked! The worst pizza I have ever had. Over cooked and tastless mini arancini. Potatoes croquettes with tasteless as well. Wine was better used for vinegar. Great location however needs a management change.

WOW!! We had a family gathering here that was planned by locals. Be sure to have a reservation! We had a feast with several courses. The antipasti and primi were the best! We also hired Irene, a wonderful singer (in the photo) who also played the guitar. In addition to the delicious food, her presence made the afternoon complete!! The little farm around the property is also fun to see. I would highly recommend a lunch here!!
