Stunning pieces! If you're between 18-25 years old i suggest getting the €5 combo ticket that also gets you into the Botanical Gardens, this museum and the garden were two of our favorite things we did in Palermo. When we went only the first floor was open and it took us about an hour and a half to get through everything. Lots of descriptions in both Italian and English 10/10 museum

Small museum but with a great quantity of ancient artifacts. You can see pottery, statues, and all kind of human created objects.

We came here on a Sunday, the lady at the ticket counter was very nice, (they also have a breakfast deal for 1.5 Euro extra.) So get a coffee and a croissant and be ready to be amazed by the artifacts of ancient Sicily. It is fascinating to see the architectural, burial, and everyday artifacts of the Greek, Roman, Phonecian and other civilisations that thrived on this island. It is worth the admission and the experience, choose this over the Norman castle ;)

Entrance fee is €6 but the museum is quite small. There is a beautiful quiet garden in the center where you can sit. They have very interesting pieces to check out and also very cute turtles!

This place is great. The best part is the beautiful relaxing courtyard filled with banana trees, and tortoises!!! Also the countless artefacts, all with great explanation and accompanying information 6€ entrance.

Quite a relaxed and easy going museum with a lot of things. Very clean and well organised, but a little bit monotonous. The garden (inside) offers some space to relax and unwind. The turtles 🐢are very cute!

The Palermo stone absolutely saved this place from getting 1 star. The building is nice but it is not well kept. There are weeds growing out of the terrazzo in the cloister, the floors in both cloisters could do with being swept and I put this down to the staff that were sitting around smoking and talking about how they typically eat at restaurants. Did I mention they were smoking?.... inside a historic building that is one of palermos oldest museums...just do better guys.

This museum is absolutely stunning. The collection includes some unique pieces and the way they are displayed is really amazing. The museum is undergoing restoration and they're doing a great job with the exhibition design and lighting. It is currently possible to visit the ground floor only. I was a bit taken aback by a member of the personnel that basically kicked me out 20 minutes before the closing time because he had decided that he was going to close early as "no one was there". Besides that I really enjoyed my visit.

I would highly recommend visiting this museum, especially if you have an interest in ancient history. They have a rich collection of artifacts and provide good insight into the greek and roman history of Sicily. The exhibition setup allows for free exploration and there are also charming courtyards to relax in. The museum is also air conditioned and children under 18 can enter for free. This place is well worth visiting while in Palermo.

It's such a nice museum! Besides checking the exhibition, take a moment to enjoy the inner courtyard with the small fountain with fish in the centre. Take a place on a bench, hear the wind and the birds, and relax in this wonderful small oasis.

Nice, small collection of local artifacts and pieces of nearby temples. It does nowhere compare to the museum in Neaples but has the best collection in Sicily.

A lovely space, very informative in English. We spent a morning here, with a joint ticket to the Botanical Gardens for €10. A lovely coffee shop here also.

Great collection with interesting artifacts and historical information. However, there were too many groups for a Sunday, when the entrance was free. A group of kids was taking up the whole room and the teacher was talking loudly. Other groups of people were standing in the middle talking without even looking at the exhibits. These can't be allowed on the day when everyone wants to visit.

A great museum to spend 1-2 hours with some very unique exhibits, for a very reasonable price, too! Almost everything was titled in English as well, so I didn't feel lost without the additional audio guide.

This is a very nice archeological museum for the island of Sicily. There is an especially nice exhibit of artifacts from Selunite

Exceeded our expectations! Tons of ancient Elymian artifacts, plus later Greek & Phoenician artifacts from Palermo's early years, and a pretty gardened courtyard to take a break in between exhibits. A significantly larger collection than we expected, too.

The Antonino Salinas Regional Archeological Museum (Italian: Museo Archeologico Regionale Antonino Salinas) is a museum in Palermo, Italy. It possesses one of the richest collections of Punic and Ancient Greek art in Italy, as well as many items related to the history of Sicily.
