Friendly owners helped us feel at home when we enjoyed a late supper on their patio. Perfectly cooked shrimp were a standout; but all the plates were well made and clear flavored. A great spot to try regional white wines.

We passed this restaurant numerous times and finally decided to try it - how happy I am that we did! With extremely friendly and helpful service, stunningly delicious food and a menu card where everyone will find something for himself it's an absolute must on a culinary map of Trier. Tofu dumplings and chicken with sweet chilli sauce are absolute highlights. We will return for sure and highly recommend this place!

Very tasty, friendly, and a nice quaint place to have some tapas. They have a large selection of wine and tapas. I would definitely recommend this to any locals or tourists alike!

Café Glücklich is, in my opinion, the best café in trier. The owners, Bettina and Ralf, are super friendly and the concept is great. You can have coffee and tapas and chat, but also watch art exhibitions. Bettina exhibits already-made artists as well as newcomers - which makes her a great character! Also great choice of wine! Bettina talks to most of the customers personally, is very friendly and helpful, above-level nice and has a great sense of humor. She is also very friendly and never denies a question concerning the way or where you can find this or that in Trier. I spent a fair amount of time in the café past month and I also never saw her being unfriendly with the staff. I love the café, Bettina and I have never seen anyone unhappy there, so it deserves it's name!

Lovely staff and such a cool cozy place with great food. The chorizo tapas are a real delight.

A little hidden Gem in Trier - enjoyed the Art on display while having some lovely foods and drinks. You have to try the Pasteis de Nata 😋

It is a small place. Nice coffee. Friendly staff. I haven't tried their food yet but looks delicious and healthy.

The owners are absolutely delightful. The wine is also very good. The atmosphere is fantastic. I hate to say that the food is not appealing 😫 we tried about 10 dishes. Patatas bravas (basic), shrimp (must be pealed, which is fine, but the taste is totally bland), chicken (little flavor), honey chorizo (oily and lacking flavor). The goat cheese peppers were nice, as was the 3 dip combo (but expensive for what you get...) I deeply wish the food was better as the atmosphere and service was amazing. I'd easily go here for wine any time but I'd skip the meal.
