Very good food and drinks with great service. We had some Starters (can recommend the grilled cauliflower) and two mains. Good value for money for the region on the island. Menu is only in French which might limit guests with limited English & French skills. Waiter translated the whole menu for us ♥️

Top quality food, we had the caprese salad, crab bruschetta, the catch of the day (dorade) and the ONYA pasta. All of the good was made with fresh ingredients and cooked and seasoned to perfection. For dessert we had the pistachio parfait and the brownie. The ONYA pasta and pistachio parfait were particular highlights. The service was also friendly and attentive.

This is definitely the best restaurant and the best food in Mauritius!!! It is very clean, romantic, modern and it has a beautiful terrace and a green garden ☺️ The food is yummy and you get some nice surprises with local products. Do not forget to try the delicious cocktails too! The Chef and the staff are very kind and they make your evening special and unforgettable!

Had an awesome evening here with my partner. The lamb curry was tender and tasty and the fish was grilled to perfection. Live music in the background complemented the meal wonderfully, while the waiters were attentive and sincere .

Probably the best restaurant in the north half of Mauritius. The establishment is really nice, the staff is very kind and attentive. The food was perfect. The king prawns were tasty and the octopus was very good. The price is a bit higher than the average but the quality and flavor make worth every MUR! 100% recommended!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Onya! The service was incredibly prompt, and our food arrived swiftly. Not only was the presentation of the dishes beautiful, but they also tasted absolutely fantastic. What truly impressed me was the personal touch – the chef took a moment to ask how we were enjoying our meal and took the time to chat with each of his guest. Loved everything about the dinner. Food is delicious, with many flavors. Ingredients are very fresh. I took a tuna tartar, a fish of the day and a pistachio dessert. Service is very cordial, even the chef came to talk to us about the dishes that we ordered. The wines are a bit overpriced, but it's ok.

Very nice restaurant with great ambiance, tasty food and good service. Prices reasonable. For the lamb curry they missed the pickles and papadam, but that’s a small detail

Everything from the olive tapenade, octopus on spiced carrot puree & lamb curry to the warm chocolate brownie & sorbet for dessert were absolutely delicious. The chefs passion certainly comes through in the food. Onya is a gem for both lunch &/or dinner. Highly recommend!

-Good food, we ordered the crispy cauliflower, grilled whole fish and the seafood pasta. -Cosy atmosphere, they have some outdoor couches which are perfect for chilling and sipping a drink -A few parking spots in front of the restaurant -Friendly and helpful staff, we also met Chef Franco who was checking in personally with all the guests at the restaurant Overall great experience, will definitely come back again next time we're in the north

Very frustrating, hit or miss with dishes. Could have lived with the overboiled and under grilled octopus but unfortunately the service was so bad I had to send it back as my waiter was trying to argue with me about whether the food I was eating was chewy or not! The other dishes were OK - one of them was good. Waiter was extremely unprofessional which is a shame.

Found this place by accident and it was a very pleasant surprise. Excellent food and service. Good wines. Cannot understand the 4.4 rating. Must definitely be higher.

In general quit good experience. Vegan curry really tasy, but they don't know how to preper classic mohito. Very long waiting time for meals, more than 60 minutes.

We went there twice for diner during our stay in pointe aux canonniers. Really good food and nice set up in a garden. Would especially recommend the sweet potato croquettes, roasted cauliflower, and the best: poisson en papillote, which is in a vanilla sauce to die for. Amazing pina colada as well. Reasonably priced for the quality.

We took the octopus and the aignon,both very tastyy!!! Excellent and super friendly service.The chef was super nice. Nice decoration too. Good prices for the high quality food. Highly recommended!

Visited Tuesday evening in November, quiet but great atmosphere, music and ambience Staff were welcoming and attentive Specials and items not available were well explained, menu via QR code The cauliflower and beer short rib starters were delicious, modest but flavourful portions Octopus main was slightly chewy and under seasoned but still very tasty Eggplant and breadfruit curry was decent sized portion and filling Desserts are unique, not large enough to share but very well thought out with complimentary tastes Really good selection of freshly made cocktails, mocktails and wine

Great place to eat, we had a wonderful time. Chef is a great guy, he went out to meet his guests after dinner. Food was amazing and service as well. Our server Sunny was very friendly and we had a good chat.

Amazing food, ambience & hospitality !!! We accidentally spotted this quaint restaurant while going to Mont Choisy Beach and decided to visit this on our way back. Being vegetarian, we had limited options but everything we ordered tasted delicious. We ordered Veg Samosa, Crispy Cauliflower and had made to order Spaghetti for our kid. Chef Franco made us very comfortable and so did staff Mr.Sunny. We are definitely going to visit another time till the tume we are here in Mauritius. Please do visit this lovely & romantic set up styled restaurant if you are either in Grand Baie, Perybere, Mont Choisy or Cap Malhereux. You will love it ❤️
