Absolutely amazing food, wonderful service and beautiful ambiance. We wanted to end our 2 week vacation at a good nearby French restaurant and Castel showed up in my Google Maps search. The servers were wonderful and were incredibly accommodating. The food tasted so good and in very good portions. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would.

Pretty good French bistro style cuisine for a place that's in a pretty bland town like Trois Rivieres. No offence. It's not like Que City or Montreal. Salmon tartar with salad and fries are a must. Tasty soups. Delicious desserts.

Always great food preparation and unusual content mixes...great flavors.

Dinner with my colleague Restaurant is very good Nice inside , can be better outside Food was good the tuna steak was very good , they should put little less sols and cook little more the vegetables but quality of the tuna was good . Also the chicken was very good . Is a please to visit if you are in the area .

Great staff, tasy food, no crown royal

We were visiting from US and stopped by this place for some French food. The food was absolutely amazing, definitely meet all my fine dining expectations. However, not sure our expectations for service was not right or they were way understaffed. The service was extremely slow. There was only on waitress and another one helping bring the dishes. We spent a good 2 hours for our dinner, way longer than I hoped.

While in the area for the Blues Festival we found this gem of a restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise with good service and a pleasant meal. We enjoyed two of their evening specials; the trout and the veal. We will surely return another time.must have eaten here a dozen or so times over the past few years. Every dish is a challenge for the senses. The food and service here will easily match anything you will have experienced here or abroad.

Big group celebration this past August for a wedding anniversary. The group menu was not worth the price paid that night. We received no feedback from the management or apology, or offer for future discount. . Very disapointed. The beef selection turned out to be an unappetizing meatloaf..( bland in taste) Not worth the $456 I paid for my immediate family. I can't say I will risk this venue again in the future. They need to up their game.

Been there for the New Year brunch and it was disorganized. We were freezing, running after the waiter to get bread, had to wait in line to get food ( but we pay tip for the waiter... ). Didn't have a lot of choices for the food and the quality was not so good.
