.. NO FREAKIN WIFI IN THE ROOM .... that place is a very very bad experience for an expensive night in a "better" hostel ... its a hostel not a hotel, dont be misled .. the whole place smells of cheap food the backpackers prepare, its noisy and there is not even wifi in the room .. never ever again. spend a couple of bucks more as tromso is expensive anyway but save yourself this shady shag

Place's cold, small rooms and a kitchen I wouldn't want to cook at - it's unclean, cramped and full of leftovers. Not worth the money at all.

We booked this hotel for our 6 night stay in Tromso because it had a fridge in the room, a shared kitchen and is close to the city center. The location was easy to reach for us but the road was sometims very steep so it might not be easy for everybody. We had a room with own bathroom on the third floor. As we entered the room everything was nice and clean. The bed was kind of low but is was working for us. The bathroom was kinda big but it had no heating so it was very cold during our stay. We also had another door in our room leading to some kind of junk room. We dind´t bother but it was strange that this door was not locked. The housekeeping was kind of sloppy, our towels have been replaced almost everyday even though we put them on the hanger meaning we want to keep them. Also it seemed that nobody wiped the sink ot the shower during our stay. At the end we had dust on the sink and mirror. Tis is not acceptable. The fridge in our room was big enough for us but so cold that our food literally frooze in it. The shared kitchen was pretty nice and we could prepare ourself breakfast and dinner during the day. It had a shared cabin and fridge in case you need something you forgot or anything. The staff at the reception was friendly and nice. Overall there were minor things that went wrong during our stay but it all adds up to a mediocre experience.

Completely exceeds my expectations. The room is a little small but it's a backpack hotel so we don't mind and don't need space. While the outside temperature is -6 degrees, it's warm inside and the heater in the room works perfectly. The shower is amazing and I think the floor of the bathroom is heated. The communal kitchen is pretty clean as well and there are enough plates and cutlery.

Payed 3 nights, stayed only 1. We got a room which was in the basement with a window towards the yard and everyone could look inside our tiny room, which was way too small to host 2 persons. With our luggages and the chair in the room it was impossible to move. This was the main point we decided to search for another accommodation. They shouldn’t offer such small holes for two persons... The shared kitchen is as common: you wash the dishes twice, before you eat and after because they are dirty. The parking possibilities are limited. We couldn’t buy the place next to the hotel for 150.- per day (it was full), we had to pay the public parking which is very expensive. Maybe Im used to different hotel circumstances. This is rather a youth hostel, but I only recommend to stay 1-2 nights for real backpackers.

We had really bad experience in this hotel. When we checked in and went to the room there were a rubbish in the bathroom, smelly and very small room, there were not even space to open the suitcase, but that is not the worse yet. First night we had bed bugs in the bed and I had a lot of bites. We inform to the reception and the receptionist kindly move us to another hotel, but the damage was already done I got cellulitis infection from the bites, pain, itchiness. We asked to talk to the manager and the receptionist tell us that there were not a manager at that time but she would inform them about this matter. I went to the emergency and I have been hospitalised for the severity of the infection. We were in Tromso only for 3 days to see the northern lights but I spent my time in the Hospital. We never been contacted by the management at this matter until we sent 2 emails to them and finally got an answer. They refund the hotel stay, which was very logic and never paid the pharmacy bill and did not answering to my email any more. I only get 2 emails from them, one of which saying that they are closing the case. After being back I still had to take antibiotics for one week and wasn't able to work. We are very disappointed of that unprofessional and ignoring treat. I leave this long comment in here because I don't want any other guests go through the same that I went through. That was the worse hotel experience I ever had.

I stayed 3 nights in a single room and had everything i needed. The bathrooms are shared, but are clean and shower is strong and hot. The girl from Lithuania who checked me in was friendly and had good recommendations. The kitchen is big and has enough utensils to cook (though they open it at 8:15 and is closed by 11 pm). My room was really comfortable, had a nice big window with a desk and a small sofa and TV. The best was the soundproof door, i could hear what happend outside but not loud at all. The location is also good, 5 minutes walking distance to the main street. Wifi was very weak in my room but strong in the living room. And everything is clean.

2-bedroom apartment is quite nice: spacious, kitchen with cooking equipment, cozy beds. However, there was no housekeeping during the 4 days and 3 nights we stayed, and only one key is available while there are 4 people of us. Hair dryer needs to be borrowed. However, its triple room, where we stayed for the first night, is unbelievably small. Since there is no elevator, be careful if you have heavy luggages. You may have to carry them up to the 3rd floor.

A phone booth more than a room. No closet, no even a drawer: no wonder, they couldn't fit there. The parking, that is not included, is just a space outside in front of the hotel. If you need it, hurry up : only three cars can fit there. The staff is kind and smiling and it's the good part of this place

Good morning, I had a reservation at this hotel. I have had a motorcycle accident and I cannot travel due to medical prescription. The hotel refuses to return the money for the reservation, having notified me in advance. Outrageous, bad people.

We recently stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and we highly recommend it. The rooms were warm and cozy, the communal kitchen well equipped and clean. The staff was really kind and helpful, even made an effort to greet us in our language ☺️ very much recommend it and will definitely come back!

Very comfortable stay in the apartment. Small but pleasant and had all that we needed. Great location close to restaurants and cafes as well as walking distance to meeting points for group tours. Very friendly staff. Would stay again!

Above the centre looking over the fjord, close to the bus stop from the airport. Friendly, helpful staff, room was basic but comfortable and everything needed was there. Has a hostel feel to it with the common room and kitchen, but it's more a cheap hotel in reality. Free coffee available, decent value, would stay again.

An ideal place for a short holiday with a wonderful view from the window and friendly service. Fully equipped kitchen open from 07:00 to 22:00, coffee and tea in thermoses. Close to all city attractions and buses. Clean room and bathroom with a hairdryer. I recommend and will certainly come back here.

I stayed here for 8 nights as a solo female traveller. I loved my stay. My room was small and cosy and had a small bathroom with a mini fridge. The entire hotel looks like it’s been renovated so everything was really lovely and modern. There’s always free tea, coffee and even honey. The communal kitchen allowed me to cook and save money on eating out. The kitchen was kept clean by the staff and they even steam to disinfect the plates. A critique would be that the microwave could be cleaned better. Additionally, the hotel tries to minimise their environmental impact. They have a pantry with the extra food that hotel guests don’t finish. They even separate their waste. This hotel should apply for an tromso environmental sticker or something. The staff in reception and cleaners were all very lovely. Really good customer service. The hotel was very clean. My rooms were tidied up everyday and the hotel always smelt nice. The only thing I could say is that maybe this hotel isn’t for someone who has mobility issues because it’s on a hill. It just means that it takes a little longer to get to it. The hotel is close to the city centre but it’s on probably the one that is highest on the hill. However, because of this, I think it has one of the best views of the northern lights than other hotels that are lower on the hill. I was lucky to see the northern lights twice on my way back to the hotel because of the hotel’s great view.

Booked at a very last minute and the staff was very helpful. Stayed for three nights and everything was find. Got all what I need. A warm and clean room, a nice staff and helpful staff, clean bathroom, and a nice kitchen and common room. It's also close to KIWI grocerries where I can find all I need. The hostel was close earlier when I checked out because it was christmas day so I could not store my luggage. But he helped me so I can left my luggage in another Enter hotel.

Nice hotel. Rooms were clean and tidy and warm. Free WiFi was fast and reliable. Large communal kitchen and lounge area. Limited parking available due to the location of the property on a narrow Street. Great views of Tromso and the bridge and cathedral from the bedrooms.

Had a nice stay there for about a week. The price was fair for what I got and it was a clean room with a bed, a window, a sink, a televison and a mini fridge. I went there in the end of April and it was stil cold outside but there wasn't any problem with the heating during the night. The bed was a bit too soft for me but otherwise I had a good sleep there. The employees were very friendly and on my last day I could leave my package there until I had to go to the airport. Will book here if I visit Tromsø again!

The hotel location is nice, near the central downtown area and close to my meeting site. No food or coffee service is available at the hotel, although a kitchen is available for cooking meals. The hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The ABC Hotell definitely has an excellent value for its modest price. The staff is very friendly and helpful, everything is clean and well-kept, even the shared shower and toilet. The single room i booked was really small, but sufficient for a stopover.

👍👍 The northern light is right outside your doorstep, if the weather is good. Nice greeting from the reception staff. The wooden lodge have very good heating and very warm.
