The hotel is located on the main street in Tromsø, and you can walk everywhere from here. I stayed here for 11 nights. My room was nice with a bed, desk, chair and a wardrobe. The bathroom was also not tiny (like I expected) with heated flooring. The main doors of the hotel were open from 7-23. Between 23 and 7, we had to use our cards to enter from a door a few meters away from the main door. There was complimentary tea and coffee near the reception until 21 h. Breakfast was included in my room. There were not a lot of options and it consisted of bread, various spreads, boiled eggs and cereal. There was no fruit, only tomatoes and cucumbers. The hotel is not very expensive, considering the prices in Tromsø, especially as the heat is almost always on. I did have a few minor issues, like there was no dustbin in the room, only a small one in the bathroom. Also, I would have liked a mini refrigerator to be in the room, because the heating is always on, and food spoils very easily in it. Overall, I got what I paid for.

Basic rooms with just bed and a chair, but clean and recently renovated. Basic breakfast with the essentials to get you started. Window in room cannot be opened. Overall good value for your money.

Great welcome and very helpful staff. Lovely big room en suite with a sitting room. Breakfast is simple and adequate. The hotel is slightly outside of the center but all locations can be reached within 10mn walk.

Great find! Everything in tromso ks extremely expensive but when you’re on tight budget, this place won’t disappoint you. You’ve got nice comfy bed, big rooms enough to leave luggages wide open on the floor, clean, very quiet, close to city, free breakfast (same choices but doesn’t bother me), close to a bus station. All in all, it’s a great hotel

This place lies nice in town but the rooms lack space and comfort. Something which was a big problem for me was that I could hear lots of stuff from the other rooms.

The staff are very nice and helpful, happy to help every time and any question I had. Breakfast was satisfying Although there was not a rich selection The location is not far from the city centre, a 10-minute walk and you are in the center Near supermarket For the price i pay, it's the best deal in town. The bed wasn't that comfortable. The window does not open, and there is no air conditioner or other means of air in the room. I will note that it was not cold in the room but also no fresh air. There are no facilities like a sauna/Jacuzzi to relax after a whole day of hiking on foot

I thought that I would be cold in Tromso, but I was wrong. My hotel room was very good isolated and there was even floor heating in the bathroom. I could walk bare feet in there. The room is in need of some small repairs but otherwise it was very comfortable for a solo traveller. Flat screen TV, free WiFi, breakfast from 7 - 10 am and very friendly and helpful personnel. About 5 minutes walk from the center of Tromso.

Apartment offered on website is not in Skansen hotel building but two blocks away. That building does not fulfill ***criteria. Poor ventilation system so fried eggs from other inhabitants can be smelled in your bathroom. Furniture not clean

Budget hotel. Convenient location,easy access to the city centre. Staff helpful but without basic knowledge about the city. Paper thin walls making it easy to hear next door rooms and also windows were not sound proof allowing noise from the street. If you are looking for a quiet night, coniser going elsewhere. The room was very small. Basic breakfast included in the price. The bathroom was floor heated.

Pros: 1. Great location - the bus stop is within walking distance and hence its easy to get here to/from the airport 2. The cute little town is also within walking distance as well 3. The rooms are nice and basic - the other hotels in Tromso are quite expensive, so this was quite good 4. Great basic complimentary breakfast as well! Cons: 1. None that I can think of

Good budget hotel. Cheaper and bigger room with other budget hotels in Tromso. Near Polar museum. Hotel and rooms are clean. Fair breakfast. Taxi cost 120NOK to Tromso bus terminal. Walkable distance but with snowing/raining, better take taxi since need to carry lugguages.

The room is small even by standards of what we've seen in Europe but it's just for sleeping so we really didnt care. There is no fridge, one trash can which is in the bathroom, one pillow and the walls are paper thin. You can hear people talking in the other room. The location is still good and close to everything. The breakfast is basically meat, cheese and boiled eggs so if you're looking for a place that has a good breakfast, this isn't it. If you just need somewhere to crash, it does its job.

Good budget hotel. Room a little shabby but clean. Good shower. Breakfast basic but fine. Nice staff. Excellent central location. Would recommend.

En tiedä olivatko odotukseni matalat, mutta yllätyin positiivisesti siististä ja isosta huoneesta. Ainoa mitä kaipasin oli jääkaappi. Emme ehtineet sisäänkirjautumaan respan aukioloaikana, mutta avain oli kätevästi saatavilla oven ulkopuolisesta lokerosta mailiin lähetetyn koodin avulla. Huomasimme myös, että auto kannattaa suosiolla jättää hotellin parkkikselle. Aamiaisbuffet tarjosi kaiken oleellisen, ei liikaa eikä liian vähän. Kokonaisuudessaan hinta-laatu täsmäsi hyvin, ellei jopa hitusen odotettua paremmin.
