Not my favorite. I always do my workouts early in the morning’s (5am) and more than once the employee never showed. Very unprofessional and frustrating. I will never return to this location ever again. This just speaks on management because it happens more than usual so obviously, nothing is being done to correct it. I’ll save my time and just continue going to the location in Stamford. They are wonderful and SO much better.

Refreshing and Relaxing Experience at LA Fitness First and foremost, the pool at LA Fitness is without a doubt one of the standout features of this gym. It was well-maintained and spacious, providing ample room for both leisurely swims and more intensive workout sessions. Also, as a regular sauna-goer, I can confidently say that this gym offers one of the hottest saunas I have ever experienced. Aside from the exceptional amenities, one of the remarkable aspects of LA Fitness is its staff. From the moment I entered the gym, the friendly and attentive staff members greeted me with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm. They were always available to answer any questions and assist with anything I needed. Their dedication to creating a welcoming and positive environment was truly commendable. Definitely recommend this gym!

Horrible customer service they do not properly explain charges or what to expect. I signed up less then two weeks ago paid almost $300 and was just charged another $ 100 for a annual fee already ? which I was never explained about and then in two weeks I’ll be charged another $100 money is not the issue the issue is non of this was explained or agreed on by me why would I pay almost $500 to sign up for a gym ? I wouldn’t and I would have not agreed if I was properly explained I’m a manager of a retail store and I would not allow my employees to do something like this

Me and my dad love going to this location because of the amenities and atmosphere. All the employees are very helpful and care about their clients experience. Sherish is amazing and extremely helpful. Its always nice to see a friendly face. One of the things that keeps me coming to the gym are employees like her lol. They keep everything up to date and care about maintaining the facility. I now recommend friends and family to come to this location and would recommend everyone to come here.

So many great things I could say about LA Fitness Trumbull. First the facility itself is amazing. Every amenity you could want. You really feel like family with a professional staff that welcomes you. I highly recommend checking them out for all your fitness needs.

The staff means well and will help if you ask, but equipment is constantly being stolen and the staff seem to have resigned themselves to that, so equipment is constantly missing. Stuff that isn’t missing is usually found lying around. The bathrooms vey commonly do not have any paper towels to dry your hands resulting in people not washing your hands. The equipment is probably extremely unhygienic as a result of this. The changing rooms are minimally cleaned and YOU WILL get athletes foot if you dare walk around without shoes. Would only recommend this gym if you are on a budget and have no other options.

Great gym but terrible group of members. They leave the place a total mess. Also take away equipment… can’t find certain basic things like holders etc. Gym is large and the equipment is good. However the members leave the weights ALL OVER the place and if you need a set of dumbbells you might have to search for it and waste your time looking. Looks like they don’t have enough people on staff to be organizing the weights. It’s always a mess there.

LA Fitness Trumbull has been the best Gym that I have visited in my recent years. The have the newest equipment and always maintain cleanliness. General manger Phil was extremely helpful and kind on my first day!!!

Amazing Atmosphere. Love coming here with my son and my wife. My son has a great time at the kids club. the gym Is always clean. Staff is super respectful and helpful. Highly recommend.

Never loved a gym more in my life, from the friendly staff to great equipment. They have enough cardio to have an entire state workout at once and I never had any problem getting a bench on a Monday. I’m not too big into basketball or swimming but I signed up my family under one membership when they had a great deal going and so we all go now. My two boys are usually playing ball while my wife is in Zumba and I’m lifting weights. My sister brings her kids to the Kids Club and she is a fan of the staff there too. I love walking into the club and getting greeted by the front desk then going into my workout. We usually stop to grab a shake on the way out on the mini shake shop they have inside…the berry one is my favorite. Over all a great gym and a great workout.

Phil, the GM was super nice to me and helped me out when visiting from out of town. It’s a really nice gym and wasn’t very crowded when I trained there. Enjoyed my stay

I can’t say enough positive things about this gym. Tony was incredibly helpful. He was full of information about personal training and the new program they’re launching at the end of this month. Phil was very professional and walked me through all of the personal training options. Damian is an excellent trainer and put me to work on the first day. He offers a dynamic approach by focusing on conditioning, weight training, and nutrition. I look forward to future sessions!

Usually clean and has a nice variety of machines. Front desk people are hit or miss, either engaged or not paying attention at all. Would be a 5 star review if they enforced dumbells being put back in the correct spot, you will spend more time looking for what you need than actually lifting them unfortunately. Also people that come here seem to decide they can park wherever they want and will sometimes go two car widths past the lines to park closer to the front door, making exiting the parking lot dangerous by cutting off lines of view. A beginner gym like planet fitness dsos a better job at keeping the weights organized so I don't know why this gym can't :/ TL;DR , nice gym with nice equipment but nobody puts their weights back where they belong and the staff doesn't seem to care

The staff are nice at this gym, however it is not clean. I have visited this gym on several occasions and there is paper on the floor. The bathroom/shower are always dirty. If they have consistent maintenance it could be more of an enjoyable experience.

This gym is outstanding!!!! I love it I tried 3 other gyms before coming here and I’ll never switch again. I found my home, between the cute guy who signed me up, the amazing amenities, and great deals this gym has it all :)

Zeke was wonderful with me, an 84 yr old woman. He explained everything that he asked me to do and then reviewed what we accomplished. I felt very positive my experience with him.

This was a great gym 10 years ago. Since then the equipment condition and staff have declined greatly. Empty cans and bottles will stay out on the floor sometimes for days, equipment will remain broken for a week at a time, the staff can be rude if they decide to even show up. Many mornings the employees don't show up until over an hour late leaving members standing outside waiting or forced to leave without even walking in to the building. It is an all too common occurrence. If you are from the area and trying to consider which "big box" gym to join, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. There are other options that are cleaner, more professional and even cost less

I had a fantastic experience at LA Fitness the machines and everything was clean. The staff particularly Allan was very nice and knowledgeable in regards to the gym and membership prices. I will be definitely returning!

Great place for work out but the swimming pool was closed by the time I visit

LA Fitness is the place to go for your fitness needs. It has everything i need and more. They have a sauna, swimming pool, basketball, Racquetball, and a jacuzzi. You have guest privileges. I’ll for sure be coming back here when I’m in town!

I like this gym location. Its Clean, well equipped, has seasoned trainers and a pool to cool of in. Plus Basket Ball Gym court.

Really nice gym and super nice staff. But I wish this location would stop doing promotions for high school students. It’s overpacked as it is. (Nothing against the students, this just seems to be the primary promotion going on)

The staff members were super helpful and assisted my whole party. The facility was clean and the equipment was update. Would definitely recommend this gym to those who live in this area.

This club is by far the best club in the entire area. Love all the new procedures and the measures that the Trumbull location has taken post covid. They have visible hospital grade disinfectant throughout the gym and the janitors are literally cleaning the entire gym all the time. The current management has done an incredible job in spacing out the machines 6ft apart in an already huge facility and there is so much space in the weight room and cardio area. The manager also has been enforcing the mask rule throughout the gym, I see him and the staff all the time cleaning weights, machines and creating a really safe environment to work out in. I will be a member for many more years to come and highly recommend it to everyone who wants a great place to distress and get in the best shape!!!

Phil was the best. Helped me out a ton. The whole staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The court for basketball is clean and nicely maintained.

I joined a LA fitness and tried to schedule 2x with a personal trainer. First time trainer never showed up, next time trainer was late 20 min (on a 30 min appt). I attempted to cancel after my first failed session (within 3 days after signing) they talked me into staying. Now they are saying I can’t cancel. I am having to spend time now on legal action and disputing with Cc company. Please be careful when you sign with these guy. They get very aggressive on calling for payments too. Gotten many phone calls this week.

They have the best pool and basketball court around! Definetely recommend to anyone looking for a new gym! Phil is the best general manager of all time!
