My most enjoyed hotel experience in Nigeria in the last 6 months. Very neat, interior touches were well thought out, two towels, spacious rooms, fire and safety information, bed was very comfortable, and the environment is super quiet and in one of the safe high brow areas in Kano. Food tasted okay but the portions were Really sizable. I was even given an alternate soup in case I didn't like the one I ordered. Room comes with complimentary meal everyday, So you can choose if your complimentary meal should be breakfast lunch or dinner. For the value, the price is superb (especially when you compare to what you get in most big cities which are more expensive without delivering same value).

Gk Guest palace a very good environment,the place is quiet and reserve.A perfect place for accommodating guest within and outside the country, and hold a place for a simple yet elegant function like birthday party,anniversary,get togather and more.The staff re so welcoming and very humble also the rooms re so specious and neat.

What I liked most entering my assigned room in this hotel is the brightness of the lights and the fine smooth painting of the walls. As I checked in, I had asked the reception desk to ensure that my room would be free of any plumbing or lighting issues. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the room had none of the defects I had feared. My week long stay has showed that great care is taken for maintenance. The staff are friendly.

It is good and neat place but for now they do not have lift to take people to that are not on ground floor and making not to friendly for people with disability

I Love the facility andthe very responsive service. After closing hours, I noticed that the bulb in my bathroom wasn't working and called the reception. And within a few minutes and electrician knocked on the door with his ladder and he soon replaced the whole electric fitting. I have never been to a hotel that is so responsive, from the reception, laundry to the room service, maintenance etc. They have a stocked fridge in all rooms too, regardless of the rates. Wifi speed is also good and the facility is quiet and comfortable. I recommend this facility to anyone who wants to have a comfortable stay in Kano.

Top notch hotel accommodation. Serene and very comfortable. Good services and friendly staff, clean rooms. The only problem might be parking space which is limited. Worth every penny.

Very good hotel but not for average people.

Honestly, it is a bad experience lodging there. The room I booked had faulty shower, toilet couldn't flush, untidy room and cockroaches and mosquitoes roaming around the room. I recall waking up middle of the night killing a cocroach right where I was sleeping. I had to hurriedly check out by 8am the following day without having my shower. I wouldn't recommend that hotel to anyone until its fully revamped or well taken care of.

A good preference for me. Room neat. Bed spread neat. Just wished that their towels where whiter. Their towels have lost the white of it. ACCESS: For people living with disability, there is not lift, nor wheelchair accessible facility beyond the base floor. ROOM RATE at 25/11/2020 Room rate ranges from NGN 22,100 for the economy to NGN46,400 for the Royal Delux. There are also the Standard for NGN27,700, Delùx at NGN33,300 And Royal at N46,000 One of my colleagues mentioned that GK has a history of changing price at random. Based on experience ce, I think it is better to always have a plan B when booking GK. We got a major disappointment last year. FOOD & MENU: The restaurant has 32 seating capacity. Complimentary breakfast is not for everyone, this would need to be negotiated - besides options for complimentary breakfast are limited. My colleagues say that the signature breakfast for GK is the kidney and liver with chips or plantain. FOOD QUALITY The quantity of food is more than sufficient for the average stomach and sufficient for large stomach. On quality of food service. It all depends on the cook nor chef on duty. The first day I met one with very good culinary skills who was able to impress me. The third and fourth evening, I just ate thr food for survival. It was overcooked. The third night I had an overcooked cabbage and what looked like sparingly added carrot as mixed vegetable. The fourth night I had overcooked and marshy spaghetti- I was disappointed😮. MENU VARIATIONS AS AT 25/12/2020 1. Vegetarians have limited option apart the mixed vegetable and coleslaw and lettuce salad. Price range is NGN1,200 -NGN1,700 2. Breakfast ranges from 600NGN -2,000NGN 3. Nigerian dishes goes NGN2,500 4. Chicken and beef dishes ranges from NGN2,500 to NGN4,000 5. juices. I love the fresh juice. The pineapple is more of a smoothie than juice, with all its fibre. The orange is real juice.

GK is home away from home. The comfort, quietness, homely is just perfect. The workers are all friendly, willing to attend 2 u at anytime. The food is just a perfect one, it's good. The rooms are up to standard, and internet is available.

This is a really fabulous and serene place. Forget the hustle and the bustle of Tahir. If you're looking for serenity, professionalism and class, this is the right place to go. It is located off the road such that going there must be delibrate. The security guys are smart, courteous and alert. The receptionists are also very welcoming and friendly and the lights here are really warm. It has free Wi-Fi, good laundry service, a little tight parking space, fabulous restaurant and a whole lot more.

Whenever you're in Kano, make sure you spend at least one night in this hotel. A boutique hotel that's run by a Lebanese family; well run. Very courteous management and staff and great food. They pay very close attention to security of their guests and the well lit drive way says it all. Rooms of all types are available but get booked very quickly. If you want to lodge, book well ahead of time and secure your room by paying. Breakfast isn't free but you have an assortment of meals that run all day. Try their fried yam and omelette for breakfast and I guarantee you to be sorted for the whole day.

Very quiet residential area, good security. Good power supply. It was fine for 1 night stay, but Unfortunately, the wall in my room was so thin it sounded like the persons in the room next door were in my room. So, I slept horribly. Food quality was not great.
