Room confort acceptable Night is noisy due to very close disco-club Air conditioner is too noisy and does not work properly Having shower water leaks from the glass barrier and going out flooding the pavement; risk of slipping is very high. Bed is very comfortable Breakfast good but something better might be expected from 5* hotel. Swimming pool area is well organized, lot of space even when it’s crowded 5* hotel can’t got lost in details and this Ramada does quite often

The room are spacious and furniture is in a good conditions, however the room is smell sewage, upon my check-in I have changed several rooms as most of the rooms had a water leakage. The front desk and restaurant staff are not friendly with guests, and are not helpful. I have been there for business trip and I don't think I will enjoy holiday there as the hotel is extremely quite and sad.

Well placed hotel and the staff is very polite but the maintenance of the facility is sloppy and the food average. Value for money is low.

I have never seen anything like this in my life. We booked this 5 star hotel through Opodo with 97% recommendation and found a completely dirty, not cleaned room. In addition, the facility was so run down un maintained, so that on the offer to clean the room, could not be accepted by us. Even the lounge and outdoor area was so dirty. There was garbage everywhere... we immediately left the hotel again. To date, we have received neither a contact from the hotel, compensation for the money already paid, or a Processing of the request. with Sending a lot of pictures. For Europeans, this is not a standard that would be acceptable: The pictures below, Show the room we just got. All mirrors Dirty, all windows Dirty. The sink Dirty. The bed?????? Really?garbage on the balcony?

When booking this hotel, keep in mind the fact that you will not be able to sleep. The hotel is next to a nightclub that blasts music until about 3-5 AM. So you can't sleep. This is a bit of a dealbreaker for me because I usually book hotel rooms in order to have a place to sleep. Also a lot of things don't work/are in a bad state/need to be fixed. I thought the staff was great at first, but I changed my mind during the stay. I hope you don't have allergies because the staff has no clue about what's in the food. One guy even failed to tell whether there was flour in a cake (and he was being spoken to in Arabic).

Welcome to the sugar coated devil trap. At first glance, Ramada Plaza will appear fantastic. The lobby, swimming pool, etc. all appear spotless and ideal. Up until you make the booking! The list of issues includes old, filthy, worn-out rooms, poor housekeeping, a broken safe, a broken balcony, and more. However, the MOST IMPORTANT issue is the emergence of food poisoning cases among numerous residents, with symptoms ranging from mild to severe. It's a terrible hotel, and I don't even recommend it.

Although it’s supposed to be a good hotel we had a few issues and we were not happy with the service at reception. After having a few problems during check in, they gave us probably the worst room, with the worst view. In the morning, the cleaning lady came to our room at 9 am without knocking at the door to clean the room. This was not acceptable. 20 min later, she came back again. The room was old too. Breakfast was poor, and it took lots of time to get a cup, fork, knife. I never got a spoon to eat my yogurt.

The place is fine. It is far from the city center 20 min. I loved the room by cons the corridor to get there is endless. Buffet-style food. The breakfast nothing to say just great and full. Lunch and dinner it's edible, not a thumbs up. I loved the dessert. The staff do not speak english. Basically it's not bad. But I would not say a 5 star hotel.

I had so many problems with this hotel: maintenance wise, security wise. Needs urgent renovation and it is not in good shape (see photos). When I flush the toilet water gets everywhere on the floor. Staff is aware of it and does nothing. Cleaning is also poor: found lots of hair when I entered the shower for the first time. Attendant at the front desk do take advantage of you when exchanging money. Always rounding up too much on their favor. So be careful or do it elsewhere. Bed is too low. Almost near the floor. Pools are nice but too deep. Nice beach bar outside but nothing really going on at the restaurant in the evening, so kind of boring. My room was sort of weird, as it had a shared balcony with another room and to make things worse, my sliding door did not work. So I realized someone could have entered my room in the middle of the night. I was freaked out! On top of that, the person was smoking on the balcony whereas the hotel is smoke free! Bad experiences!

I have been to Tunisia several times and this is one of the better hotel resorts I've been at. The rooms our spacious and well tended to, outdoor and indoor pools are good, the beach also has and nice bar next to it. There are also camel and horse rides Nextdoor! The rooms offer more amenities then other resorts and the food in the restaurant is pretty good too.

Not sure if 2 or 3 stars. The facilities are beautiful and clean. The pool is excellent. But the food is very blah. Breakfast is unexciting. Half of the six restaurants listed on website were closed and it turns out they all get their food from the same kitchen. You can order from the same blah menu and have it delivered to any of the location. And their is a disco next door which kept me up til 4am!

I say this with respect but this hotel is not a 5 star hotel, it’s more a 3 star. The rooms are very outdated, the bed is hard and the mattress and pillows are uncomfortable, sheets are raw. Staff is friendly, with some exceptions some ladies at the reception, with way too much attitude the ones that forget that the customer is paying their salary. Pushing the button for the elevator is a a thing. Breakfast is oké nothing special. I did love the quietness and the view on the swimmingpool and sea. The beach was nice around the hotel. The hotel is far from everything, so you need a taxi to visit the surrounding areas and not much to do around the hotel, expect to relax and the beach.

This hotel is far from 5 stars standards. The furniture, the bathroom are dated, the towels were stained and we only had one set of them, one cup, although there was two of us in the room. The staff were kind and helpful.

I stayed in this hotel while was in Tunis, the capital, for attending an international conference. Although the hotel is dated, the location and overall experience were overall good but I still believe this 3* hotel (Read below). The hotel amenities were adequate, but since I was in Tunis, I preferred the beach and pool area the most. The breakfast had a few minor problems, but the team was friendly and made an effort to fix them. My issues (and probably those of many others) are with the front desk (Reception) staff, but let me be clear: 1- Abdulrahman (Balti) was an incredibly knowledgeable and helpful member of the team. He was most likely the top hotel professional staff. 2- The woman wearing sunglasses, Lubna, was incredible and had excellent English communication skills and very helpful during the night shift. 3- It was abhorrent to watch Faten (Faten Salah, if I'm not mistaken). She is a real gold digger working the front desk of a five-star hotel, trying to entice and attract guests, particularly wealthy ones, and exchange What'sup numbers (ending with 8196 for her) and invitations to pricey venues outside the hotel in order to arrange something else. Upon your request, I can give the hotel the information I have regarding what occurred with me. These types of individuals, unprofessional behaviours can easily harm your hotel's reputation, but I'll let the general manager and staff look into it and get in touch with me if more information is required. @Faten: Several hotel staff told me similar experiences with other hotel guests that you have behaved in the same way...you should not be in 5* hotel to be honest. Considering I expensive stay, I was disappointed. I expected to be happier, but I wasn't as pleased as I was. I'm interested in the management's response. This review will be copied and pasted onto other necessary websites, such as Google reviews for the same hotel.

Room cleanliness even in the suites is terrible, there were ants and bugs in my suite. The shower temperature was also not regulated properly and fluctuated significantly. The hotel lobby looks nice but the rooms and hallways look like they haven't been renovated since the Nixon Presidency. Avoid - do not stay here - go to the Four Seasons instead.

Just dropped off people and toured the place. Great lobby, lounge, and restaurant. Beautiful outdoor pool and a good indoor pool with a small though well-appointed gym. The area is excellent with bars and restaurants within walking distance. Also, it's only 15 minutes from the airport. Unfortunately, I didn't think to take photos.

We stayed at the Ramada Plaza in Gammarth from the 3rd until the 5th of May and did not have a great time. First when we arrived late in the evening, the air in the room was really hot and heavy ; we realised later the AC was not working in the room. As a result, it’s 27ºC during the night. So we decided to open the windows : we got bitten by mosquitoes all night long. When we kindly informed the staff we had no working AC in the room, they first said they will send someone to fix it. We waited all day and nobody showed up. After asking for a 3rd time, we were informed the AC hasn’t been working in the whole hotel for multiple days, and that they thought maybe it will be fixed by the end of the MONTH. That’s the kind of thing you would want to be informed before checking in. They refused to lower the price of the room and it wasn’t possible to get us another room more far away from the pool area (hoping there would be less mosquitoes). Literally we had to choose between the mosquitoes or > 27°C in the room, in a result we barely slept during the two nights we spent there. The staff was never friendly nor trying to help. It seems like they were speaking really few English or French. Communication was really complicated, every time we came to talk to them about an issue, they acted like they didn’t care and all they could say was “there’s nothing we can do to help”. There were no beach facilities, no beach area, no beach beds, no bar nor restaurant near the beach. There was no accommodation where you could stay at the beach ; you have to sit on the sand with your towel. We asked and there was no way we could order some drinks or food at the beach. The toilet door in the room was not closing as well, it was impossible to have intimacy as the toilet was directly in the hallway. Food quality at the buffet was really low, no fresh fruits during breakfast, very limited menu for room service. It kind of felt like the entire place was falling apart and nobody cares. You kind of expect more from an hotel of this standing. We’re definitely never stepping a feet in this hotel again, if you’re looking for a nice place to spend a few days in Tunis near Gammarth : don’t go there!

Best hotel basically . Food is amazing however something I didn’t like was that their lunch was really expensive so a Fanta is 7DT but then in a different store it’s only 2DT but apart from that really good hotel

Don't choose this hotel if you want to relax on your holiday! The beach is really dirty and there is a bar 20 metres from the beach where they play really loud music all day. They also play loud music at the swimming pool all day. The music was so loud that we could hear it in the room even though the windows were closed. The rooms are damp and there is mould in the air conditioning. The whole hotel wasn't really clean. The room key didn't work the first day, so we had to ask the receptionist to open our room every time. For these reasons we left the hotel after one day. The staff are friendly though.

Let‘s start with the good thing: the staff is very nice and helpful (that‘s why 2 anf not 1). The rest of the hotel is a mess. The bedroom was moldy. Mold in the AC. It smells very bad. From 11am to 8pm very loud music at the pool. Im 29 and have no problem with some music at the pool but it was like a party hostel with bass machine. We had to open the window because of the smelly mold. So we had to decide smell or noise. Why stay in the room when there‘s a nice and quiet beach? Well at the beach there is music from 11am till (at least) 3am. It‘s very dirty. Shards of glass in the sand. Drug paraphenilia around the bar (my gf found to used bloody needles next to the beach bar. Not joking) We could not find a calm and quiet place around or in the hotel. I feel bad for the staff because they were nice but it was a disappointing and very bad experience.

I spent a beautiful holiday at the Ramada Hotel with my wife . The service was extremely professional. From the beginning with the reception, they were smiling and smiling all the time. The service was very good. I met the night guard, Karim, who is my friend, and I was even more happy when I met him at the seaside bar. I would like to thank all the employees of the hotel group. Corinthia, and I personally recommend .

This Ramada is advertised on TripAdvisor as a 5 star hotel which is not accurate at all. I would rate it closer to 3 based on my experience. I stayed here for one night and barely got any sleep. There is no way to adjust the temperature in the rooms during the winter so it's incredibly hot due to the set heating. At 2am, I asked the front desk to assist and they couldn't do anything. The phone was also broken in my room so there was no way of calling for room service or getting assistance without walking down to reception. I noted this to the management on check out and no offer was made for compensation. Not a 5* experience by any means (perhaps Ramada should learn from Hilton's "Make it Right" approach to customer service). On the positive side, the room was very clean and the shower was great in terms of water pressure/temperature. The hotel just needs to address some basic problems before I would consider staying there again.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Very good food. On the beach in Gammarth. The gym is very rudimentary and some of the rooms are showing their age but overall very clean and well-kept. Would definitely stay here again.

One of the most horrible experiences i had me and fiancee spent couple of days and we were going out we had a problem with his room we called the receptionist and we had to call her again and again because she did not send anyone to fix the problem even that i insisted that we are in a hurry the third time i called her she asked who i am 😑 They send someone after half an hour when we were going out i compained her rude behaviour to her manager and i was surprised that he supoorted her while she stands there laughing I don't recommend this hotel they are so inpolite rude and Unprofessional 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Terrible service. The rooms are mostly broken. Try the vegetarian burger. It’s beef first! If you stay here, check your room first and then look for any way they are scamming you. Expect the worst.

It was better before, but recently I'm not liking it for certain reasons. For example I lost my charger in the lounge and the reception wasn't cooperative at all to help out. Also the internet connection and the air conditioning system is bad.

Positives: Beautiful beachfront layout and views. Good amenities. Plentiful and varied breakfast buffet. Access to beach, water sports, large outdoor pool and tennis courts. Negatives: Not easy for people with limited mobility to get around. Some amenities in the room didn't work.

In general, the hotel is not up to 5 stars. The condition of the bathrooms is very bad, and the faucets are rotten. The internet is very poor, the pool is not clean. The food is good and , the bed and the rest of the room accessories are generally good
