First came the pasta for my friend ok good but where was my pizza? 15minutes later my friend has eaten his meal and my pizza arrives. I start to eat and promptly pull out a dark long hair! Call over staff, send pizza back and wait and wait and wait ! No communication no eye contact. Finally we call over another staff member explain the situation and she apologises and promptly gets the manager. If only all the staff were as well trained, professional and friendly as Silvana. I didn’t get my pizza in the end but at least we had the matter resolved.

The pizza as is traditional is not cut (Americans will be surprised at this) and although it looks like too much for one person it’s so light and easy to eat. Surprisingly to me, I was requested to pay the bill immediately which to be honest I like since it gets busy there and can be hard to find a server. I could not help myself and bought chocolate on the way out.

Food was great and slightly on the pricey side as you would expect, gladly the quality matches up! seafood spaghetti was wonderful and the cheesecake was really BUONISSIMO! We were disappointed to learn that many other Eatalys don’t carry this one (Milan, Florence) so get it while you can! I had to struggle a bit to communicate in Italian as the servers don’t speak much English but they all were friendly and understanding. Great experience.
