Not recommended. The whole customer experience was probably the worst I had in years. After waiting for 30 mins in the queue (which is fine, it's a historic location), we waited 1 hour for 4 cappuccinos and 4 pastries that didn't arrive, even after reminding several times. We only got 2 crubiks. The waitress initially said they run out of those and they wouldn't be available anymore, but at a certain point, a new batch arrived, and of course, no one cared to inform us. When we decided that waiting for 1 hour was ridiculous the waiter rudely told us that if we wanted a "servizio al bancone," we should go to a gas station, and this is a caffè storico. Sure, I didn't want a fast service, but waiting for 1h30 is absurd. Long wait, RUDE staff, disorganized service - do not recommend!

What we (3 persons) ordered: - Panchetta sandwich: it was literally three bites. My friend is absolutely not satisfied. Furthermore, they used the last part of the tomato which is not edible (see photo). - Rice Ossobuco: meat was okay, but the taste is like it comes out of an instant package. - Russian salad: it was only mayonaise. Literally. It's mayonaise with a little bit of peas and a little bit of carrot and one quarter of an egg. Please see the photo, it's sad. I've also had tea for 4 euros. It's not even a full cup of tea. Tl:dr: only come to this plaza to enjoy the beautiful buildings, but do not eat at this place.

The place is nice, pastries were very tasty, though too sweet for my taste. Whole grain croissant though tasted as sweet white flour one, and not whole grain. Overall good, but when I spend 20 euro for small breakfast for 2 I expect the waiter to NOT complain about how big a headache is it for him to do a couple of cappuccinos with different milk types! If it is that hard for you firstly don’t tell it to me secondly change your menu and offer only 1 plant-based milk!

The best cakes in Turin after three years in the city. Creativity which is absolutely rare in Turin unfortunately. Balanced taste. Proper temperature of serving (no water on the desserts or frozen fats on teeth while eating them). Exciting and attentive personal. Worth paying. For special occasions and to spoil yourselves. Highly recommended. I got my hope back about local desserts

Three star only for the location. Ridiculously expensive for zero reasons outside the view. Mediocre service at best

Worst customer service I ever had in my life... went in around 2h30 pm for coffee and dessert there were a lot of empty tables, when i tried to order I asked 4- 5 different waiters if i can order for 20 minutes all of them brushed me off or said someone else will come. While the couple who came way after me their order was taken , so I just got up and left . SO disrespectful and rude! Mind you there were literally 5 different waiters outside mostly doing nothing as it wasnt as full as usual. All this for some over-rated cube pastries , who they think they are?? Never coming back. Not worth my dignity or yours if you don't want to be disrespected for some tiktok trendy pastries don't bother coming here ! I went around the block and found a much better pasticceria with amazing sweets and was treated properly. Sometimes its easy to be scammed by all you see online and think its an amazing place while in reality its not.

On the website it says take out available on glovo. This is NOT TRUE. You can ONLY have take away of pastries by calling in advance of A WEEK to the restaurant. You have to get in line at 8:30 in order to guarantee you can get what you want from the menu. The cube cream was very tasty and the bicerin was unique. We also had a banana cake which was delicious paired with the bicerin. The only bad thing was not being able to get take away pastry due to information not being on the website. That really should be fixed given that this is a hot spot for tourism in Turin.

Cute cafe right by a historic piazza. Best is to sit outside and watch the passer-by’s. Coffee and drinks are good and staff are friendly and efficient.

It's incredible and absolutely stunning. All dishes are fantastic. I came twice during my trip. If you go inside, there are seats with good view of chefs at work for Cambio restaurant.

Arrive no later than 8:15am if you want a table at first seating. Otherwise expect a much longer line and wait. We overdid it a bit, and we’re happy about it. Great experience, worth the effort!

The interior was nice and the bakery looked amazing. We waited for 40min until the waiter came and took our order. Unacceptable service.

I would like to give a negative star if it was an option. I got a horrible experience in this restaurant. They are a busy place near one of the most famous museums in Italy. I asked where the restroom was because my daughter urgently needed to go to the restroom. The waitress placed her hand in front of my face making a "Stop sign" (or "Don't talk to me"), and later I asked kindly if we could order due to a tight schedule for the appointment we had with a museum's guide. At this point the same waitress rolled her eyes, letting me know "how much of a bother" I was. I felt so horrible to be treated badly, like I wasn't a customer at all.

26/09/2021: Nice atmosphere. The chair (inside) is uncomfortable. The food (patisserie) well performed. The gelato serve in the wrong temperature - dont order this Not 5 stars because the bad and slow service (and the gelato). Update 28/09/2021: The pastries are very good. The cakes are less good (the taste is not delicate, but flat). Still bad service.

I would rate it with 10 stars if I could! Their pastries are just out of this world. During aperitivo time, this is an unmissable place in Turin as it has excellent cocktails and a very tasty selection of tapas. The view from their terrace is great, staff is very nice. Although busy at all times they will help you find a good spot instantly. This place is a great choice whether it's for breakfast or a drink in the afternoon.

In love with this place. Unique. Elegant and refine. Authentic. Dating from 1757 as it was a chemist shop and still makes remedies (Cocktails). The patisserie it's superb.

make a pre-order be happy . All the pastries tasted like 6 out of 10. I threw out the chocolate bun. It was not good. There are so many places in Italy where everything tastes much better

A bit expensive but a nice place in the middle of Turin for a tea or an hot chocolate with small desserts. Take a look at the insides too.

It's super delicious 😋 and I love the concept as what thier name like a pharmacy

  • 4/5 Daria Z. 1 year ago on Google
Very cool concept of cafe + pharmacy. Decent breakfast. Their bestseller pastries sell out fast! The only reason why I took off a star is that I found a hair inside my pastry :(

After the few minutes waiting in the cold december morning of turin, found a unique cafè with unique pastries which also cost more than normal cafè but about the tastes I can't say it justifies the fuss around the place nor the price or the too long waiting time to get the waitre attention...

  • 5/5 Michael M. 2 years ago on Google
Amazing atmosphere and exquisite cocktails. Went for aperitivo and had an amazing cocktail served in theme of the pharmacy. The staff was attentive and friendly and the food exceptional.

Absolutely delicious Gianduiotto and bicerin. I recommend the place to taste the two classics of Torino! 😍

BEST CROISSANTS IN TURIN!!! Highly recommend, but if you want to eat cubic croissant and some other pastries, i recommend going very early in the morning. The prices are reasonable. I wish they have ice latte tho…

Croissant is so unique and so good. Only thing is service is bad. They totally messed up our order. Everything we ordered were not presented. But still worth the visit.

Managed by the Ristorante del Cambio, which is part of the city history and an excellence of our territy, Farmacia del Cambio is great for aperitif or easier lunch. The service is top quality and the drinks and food are in line with the Michelin star of the restaurant but with a lower cost and a less formal form

Just had coffee and deserts there that were great. Since it’s expansive and only 1 out of the 3 of the desserts blew my mind I gave it a 4 and not a 5, but the staff were nice and I’d come back any day for the coffee-gianduia gelato desert that was wow!! 😍😋🤩

Went to this place for an relaxing late afternoon coffee. Ordered a Tarte Tatin with Figs, and boy doesn't it looks amazing. The cappucino is creamy, with a great frothing. Served my expectations well from a two Michelin stars place.

I fell in love with this place! One of waiters was so friendly and helpful. Everything we tried was so tasty. No wonder the place gets packed in a few minutes after opening on Sundays. You can’t miss this place!

Expensive bar for drinks, however totally worth it for finger food provided. Highly recommend to have a walk inside to sneakily watch the mirrored glass’s showing the famous restaurant next to it (to whom it belongs)

Fascinating place in the centre of Turin, a little bit pricey but it's worth the expenses. The cubricks are a must to taste here, they can't be found anywhere else and are deliciously tasty and flavoured, just the fittest sweet to eat for breakfast. Mind that it is famous and usually busy, but the place is beautiful indoors and outside as well, so totally recommended.

😐 Lots of great products but a lot of smoke is also sold ... It is a shame to read in large letters the invitation to be "smart" and to buy seasonal fruit / vegetables if many products are sold ... which are not in season. 👍 It has been a good experience the lunch in this place. Even if there was an apparently long queue when we arrived, in reality it lasted 5 to 10 min and then we were able to get our table.
