Tested out the Turku burger. Ordered my steak medium rare, but my steak went into a friend's burger. Medium steak was perfectly fine though. The beer marinaded onions were great and there was a distinct umami that wasn't killed by the burger being soaked in other condiments and mayonnaise. Definitely a delicious lunch. Stole some samplers of different fries off my friends and can say they were great, too. The painted walls were a nice touch to the interior, and there was a distinct aroma of grease lingering in the air, but I suppose that's to be expected from an open kitchen. The place was spacious, and the vista to the currently being renovated marketplace was what it was, but that's not the place's fault.

The atmosphere of this place is amazing, you get a lot of different hot sauces for free. The service however was quite bad. People from the Netherlands couldn't pay at all, tried Visa and Maestro but everything declined. The person behind the counter wasn't helpful and said very little. There is a 10% student discount however which we found our after the fact. The super smash burger was also really bad. The bread is tasteless and was literally wet. The smashed burger patties were really salty so didn't taste that good overall it felt like a Fastfood experience for too much money.
