Extraordinary experience for a long term stay (1 month in my case). The house is surrounded by trees and nature, and just a few minutes walk from the city center. The views are just breathtaking. The staff is extremely helpful, Wari and his family are very welcoming.

We stayed here for one week and would highly recommend! The room was stunning and so was the view. We were on the lower level, surrounded by lush greenery and a cute view of Ubud valley! The bed was so comfortable and the washroom was perfect! The breakfast that was included in our stay was phenomenal! They always ensured we had enough water to drink as well. The care and love of the homestay was a reflection of Ubud’s magic. The location was ideal! Between a lot of vegan restaurants. Dewa helped assist us in renting a scooter and transportation to and from Ubud. He always had excellent advice on things to do in the surrounding areas. Dewa, his family and the staff were so kind and helpful. They made us feel so welcomed. We will definitely return!

Great location, friendly hosts, peaceful and quite! The room is clean and linen smells good. AC and hot water works very well. And plenty of shelves for long term travelers. Dewa is very kind and helped me when I have issue during the stay. For breakfast I liked the banana pancake best :) This is a cost-effective homestay where you can relax quietly while being very close to Ubud Royal Palace. Due to the nature of Ubud, bugs are unavoidable, but it is clean and has good air conditioning. Dewa communicates well via WhatsApp. It can be difficult to find your accommodation if it's dark, so tell us your arrival time in advance and they'll come out to meet you!

This is probably one of the most kind and wholesome home stays we have been to. Super welcoming and kind hosts that really go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and homely. The breakfast included was a great way to start the day and the place is situated closely to some amazing vegan places. The surrounding greenery really makes it feel like it’s further out from the busy streets below, but it’s in such a good walking distance to the centre of Ubud. Being on a hill you don’t hear the noise. The rooms were so spacious, comfy clean beds, big bathroom with hot showers and cold aircon which was appreciated on the hot days. We were there for Nyepi day and they went above and beyond to make sure we were fed and looked after. Can’t recommend this place enough, amazing value for money.

I was lucky enough to be able to stay for 5 nights in Alam Dewa. I have been in Bali for a month and a half, I have been in about 6 accommodations, and this one was undoubtedly the best by far (better than a hotel). Alam Dewa is located about 3 minutes walk from a very busy street (the street where the famous Ubud palace is) where there are all kinds of restaurants (warungs), shops and services. It is located in an area with a lot of vegetation. You will see vegetation, flowers, hummingbirds, squirrels and hear the sound of the River. All this isolates the sound of the street and you can hardly hear any traffic (despite being close to the busy street). The breakfasts are incredible, quantity and quality, and the love with which the family prepares it is also added. But above all this, there is the kind attention that the family has towards the guest, always attentive to the guest's needs, and willing to help and contribute with everything that is needed. It will definitely be the place I stay on my next trip to Ubud, and I will definitely book all my nights there. Oh and add that I was traveling alone and I felt safe and accompanied! Grateful.

The people here are so kind and friendly. They helped me arrive and settle in so beautifully. It's a stroll into Ubud, yet it's quiet up here with a great view. I could have stayed here for 2 weeks if I didn't run out of time. Breakfast is tailor made to my gluten free special needs. I loved it. Come and stay here!

😠 Run away from this hotel. On arrival I asked a cup of hot water to make myself some coffee (my water, my coffee) and the owners told me I had to pay to use their kettle. I told him it is the first time that a hotel ask me to pay for boiling my water and the owner directly got crazy, yelling at me th...
