Came here on a recommendation by a friend. Hearing that this place has good seafood, and was not only an eating establishment but also a place that provides free health care to the poor, we HAD to come try it out. The location is a little out of the way, hidden in one of the smaller alleys in Ubud, and there weren't obvious lights or signboard for the place, but with GPS it wasn't too hard to find. The place is a little small, and it was really warm downstairs where we sat. We heard it was a lot cooler upstairs, but it was full. We ordered the tuna and the deep fried snapper, together with onion rings and spring roll as sides. The food took a long time to arrive, and truth be told, weren't really great. The service was good though, and for a good cause, can't really complain. All in all a decent place for dinner, not bad at all. I do encourage people to support this place simply because of the good cause.

Delicious, affordable, and friendly owner. What a great combo! Visited Fair Warung Bale at the end of February 2022 after failed to visit this place in October 2021. Turns out they just opened their resto again after closing it for almost 1 year. They open again at the end of 2021 and I really hope I still can visit them on my next trip to Bali! If you visit Ubud, please do come here and enjoy their delicious food! Support small shop like this can give a big impact to the local communities as well :)

We ordered another serving of spring rolls after as we still felt a little hungry but that was all we needed. On top of that, eating there goes towards a great cause and I love that you can pay for extra healthcare sessions if you wish (how could you not). To the people complaining about extra charges and pricing (we must have different perceptions on what is considered cheap because I thought this place was extremely cheap without losing quality of food or service) I honestly feel like saying to them- first world problems. Lastly, it was a lovely restaurant to sit in and the staff were wonderful too. I'll be encouraging everyone to visit.
