The owner of this hostel has proven himself to be a DISGRACE to honour, logic and common sense and is unable to prevent event which could potentially threat WOMEN'S SAFETY, and therefore is unable to guarantee security to his guests even if he has the power and tools to do so. I had to host another guest in my private bedroom at 3 am, following the insisting and inappropriate propositions of another guest in the dorm room. She legitimately got scared. The next day she informed the owner of the event and she has been invited to change bedroom since the offender was supposed to stay only one more night, allowing the offender to still stay in a mixed dorm, which is already non-sense to me. The next day 2 other girls got the same problem. Even if the owner has been informed, the offender has been allowed to extend his stay in a mixed dorm despite being warned that he was losing customer and was risking the safety of not only his guests but also wife and daughter who are staying all day around the hostel. After telling me personally that he would take action, I found him later on, in the evening chilling out and laughing with the offender. I book private room to have peace, but this is not acceptable. I packed my bag, told him what I thought about the situation, got my money back and left in the middle of the evening. Not taking action in such a situation is an ABSOLUTE SHAME.

the place is cool

Gross, smelly and hot. Yes, it's very cheap to stay here but pay the slight bit more and stay somewhere that's not repulsive. I originally booked a week here and upon first sight changed plans and found alternative accommodations. The owner was very friendly and it's location is good but overall a very poor hostel experience.

Quite location. Sort of clean. The heat / humidity is very bad, so don't hope for a good night sleep. Breakfast was advertised as fruit, eggs and even pancakes... It's not!!! Dry bread and a few fruit Speads that have been in the fridge too long. Coffee and tea offered bit again no milk and sugar bowl has roughly 30/40 ants living in it. Won't be back .....

I love this place! Its okay not to have air conditioner in this such a cool place. the owner is so friendly. I booked a bed in a room for 8 but he gave me a room for 4 persons instead. small place but its good, because we will have chance to talk and know other tourists who stay in the same place. one minus point was they have no hot water in the shower. Too bad i didnt try the breakfast that they served.

Do not book this hostel! There is at least bed bugs (high level infestation!!) in two of the rooms (room 2 and 6) and the staff is aware of this and couldn’t care less. Now we have to spend the last two days of our travel without clothes due to getting it all washed..

A cheap hostel, pretty close to the city center. The pool is very, very small, but it's a nice place to chill around. It's a pretty small hostel which is quite enjoyable. Nothing fancy but quiet and clean, with all the amenities.

*the owner is very lovely > she is so cute *the breakfast is Very nice -> they offer toast and stuff that you put on the toast, some fruits and you can chose, what they cook for you (different kinds of pancakes, Omelett...) *it's a little hard to find but that's okay *it's 5 minutes from the city center *the WIFI is good *they have a pool -> the water is cold, but it's so hot in Indonesia that's good *in the dormitory every bed has a locker, a lamp and curtains ( YEAHH privacy) *the bathroom is okay for the price :]

A peaceful and beautiful hostel with a swimming pool close to the center - about 5 minutes walk. The owners are incredibly kind and always help with a smile in any situation. Breakfast was included. From omelets to pancakes and fruits. The rooms are very nice and everyone has space for their backpack and can lock valuables. I would happily recommend it to anyone. The price-performance ratio is great. Thank you Gusti and family for this great time in Ubud :)
