Ate dinner here with my girlfriend today and was quite content with the buffet they offer here. For the price you pay you get soup/salad, main course dish and dessert. For 1 hour you can eat as much as you want. The selection was good. Jack fruit, tempeh, potatoes, green beans, coconut shred etc. The desserts were steam cakes. All were delicious. The customer service here is very friendly and accommodating. The lady who helped me with my nut allergy was quite attentive and professional. Definitely give this place a try if you're veg/vegan and want a buffet style meal in town. Who doesn't like all you can eat!

One of the best vegan buffet I've eaten at. The food is delicious and the price is cheap: 50k for all you can eat. There are some simple desserts included but you can also get some delicious vegan cheese cakes and brownies for 25k a piece.

Adorable! We already came in like 3 times and we will def be back. Wide selection of vegetarian food, I personally loved curry and potatoes in many styles the most. However, I loved the taste of all stuff I tried, the soup is delicious too. And don’t forget to try rice muffin, it was so good!

Stumbled upon this gem by accident! 💎 I was on my way to the hotel when a tropical storm brought loads of rain ☔️ I fled into the closest restaurant and it was this all vegan & glutenfree buffet! You can have all you can eat for 60k or you can get a box like above and fill it with things from the buffet for 50k. I knew that the storm wouldn’t last long (welcome to the tropics lol) and decided on the takeaway box since I wasn’t hungry yet. I packed a bit of everything. They offer soup, a salad station, tofu and tempeh dishes, fried food, stews and vegetable dishes. There’s also a small rice cake dessert section, one of which looked like a fried egg but tasted sweet! Everything tasted amazing and was such good value, I wish I found this earlier (aka not on my last night in Bali)

Amazing vegan all you can eat restaurant with affordable price and tasty foods. I'd highly recommend to try all of theie dessert! Everything's super yummy. And mostly are Indonesian foods! Only 50K/person for 1 hour. The staff is really kind and friendly. Lovely place!

Good food but if you stay too long the staff will ask to pay again or leave. P.s. there is no sign indicating that there is a time limit

Great place serving Indonesian vegan buffet (no onion, garlic). Cost Rp 50K per pax and 1 hour time limit. They have quite a diverse spread - inclusive of soup, noodle, brown rice, about 8 types of veggies and small dessert/cake selection. Food tastes healthy (no overflowing of oil, salt, etc). I love it but may taste a bit mild/bland to some.

It was definitely the best choice to go here after long walking day. U have enough options in buffet, we tried a bit of each(everything is fresh and always refilled) and been so full. By the rules you can refill your plate 2times max, during 1h. But even once it’s enough 😄 The best tofu and eggplant I had!And rice chips! Some cookies for dessert also good! Next time will back for coffee with oat milk and dessert with adorable price. Thank you for ppl who work there and make food like at home and nice to visitors!

Vegan all you can eat buffet for just 50k per adult 😀 doesn’t include drinks and cakes though, they are separately charged. Spread includes soup, salad veggies, and warm local dishes - mainly includes veggies, tofu, tempeh and mushrooms. Does not state that there’s no onion/garlic at the moment but checked and confirmed with staff 👍🏼

Food was alright; there were about 8 dishes for you to choose from, mostly tempeh. Flavours weren’t that strong, so they kind of all tasted about the same. Service left much to be desired though. We arrived at about 3pm, past lunch time, so there were only leftovers available. The service staff didn’t care about us after we paid. Thought that they’d be replenishing the food but no one did a thing even though about 4 more people came in to have a meal after us.

Absolutely delicious Indonesian vegan buffet. They don’t use garlic and onion so just perfect for me. Delicious very fresh food and there’s lots of variety. Small sweets are also included in the buffet plus they have a selection of hot and cold beverages, vegan ice cream and desserts as well. Lovely staff. I highly recommend this place!

Vegan, gluten free buffet for 50k! It's tasty, easy and the staff are super cute! It's not the healthiest vegan food I'm sure as I'm not sure they use the good oils etc. But for 50k you get an array of veggies and curries and salad and soup. Free drinking water too. Great little place! They also sell desserts, coffee, drinks and vegan ice cream which are reasonably priced but I haven't had any of those!

The food here is really good! You pay 50k per person for one hour and can eat all you want. The place is quite hidden but seems to be popular among tourists and locals alike. And yes the staff can be a lil intimidating at first but I think they’re friendly at heart. It was our first time here, so they came to our table to offer us an item to try. They are very friendly to westerners. Would come back again!

Amazing gluten-free vegan buffet. Great variety of dishes with lots of protein-rich options (the tempeh with turmeric and chilli, and the tofu curry are my favourites), plus a good range of dressings. There's also a vegetable soup and mini cakes for dessert. Everything is cooked fresh with lots of love and constantly replaced due to demand throughout the day. Without exception, everything is absolutely delicious. I've never been disappointed here. It's always nice to see the owner and get a warm welcome, too. She clearly cares a lot about what she does. Stopping in here for lunch is like a big warm gastronomic hug.

The best all you can eat vegan restaurant in Ubud. I always skeptical about AYCE restaurant. Most of them are taste so-so. What do you expect when you eat food that cooked in bulk? But, this one is different, all food taste good except the soup. For a cheap Rp 50,000 budget, it’s worth every penny and it’s really mind-blowing to find out how tasty the food is. Definitely will come again on my next visit to Ubud.

Amazing value, 50k for buffet and water. All dishes were gluten-free, freshly made and very tasty. Visit here several times a week and always have a great experience. Owner is polite and very accommodating. Note that you pay before you eat, which is only polite and kids don't eat free, which is fair considering how cheap it is. Can't understand some of the negative reviews, it's a business not a charity!

Amazing food selection and the fact that *most* of it's gluten-free, but my God are the staff bloody miserable it was such a downer interacting with them. They won't be able to answer any questions regarding the food. I'd give a one star for the service and 5 for the food.

They have really good vegan-gluten free buffet in the evening! Simply superb and it doesn't cost an arm or a leg. Of course dishes are not that many but enough to satisfy your palate and rumbling tummy! The place is cosy but do expect a crowd here. Staff are well-trained and always ready to serve.

Vegan buffet. 75k. Can't go wrong. The mashed potatoes are scrumptious, gives me a nostalgic feeling of being back home in cold rainy England. I advise you to get here for early lunch when the food is at its freshest and not too busy. Loved coming here after gym and smashing in the carbs. The staff are eager to watch you eat and silently judge you as you come up to the buffet for MORE. Just remember to eat everything you put on your plate!!! They have a la carte menu here too if you're into that.

It's a quite little buffet - all you can eat type of presentation and that's what I like about it. Having a restricted diet, it's very comfortable to be able to accommodate my own portion sizes and types of foods that I'm going to be eating. On the other side, the personal is very helpful and the food tastes great, like home made. It's not the kind of food you'd get from other exotic restaurants around, but I like it better for everyday eating.

Everything was very flavorful and seemed relatively clean as far as oil and salt go. Careful with the sambal it's SPICY! I was informed coconut oil is used for some of the cooking, but honestly nothing was oily so I was very happy with that. The vanilla ice cream tasted like birthday cake, I was confused and amazed it was vegan as the texture was like butterfat. She told me it's just coconut water, vanilla and cassava flour. Will definitely come back here again and recommend

If you are vegetarian or vegan this place is a place where you absolutely need to go and try in Ubud! Me and my girlfriend loved to have a lunch here. The food is amazing and wide variety and is also gluten free.! Only 50k rupiah and eat as much as you want or need. But you have only 1 hour but its more than enough 😃 I highly recommend this restaurant for everyone not just vegetarians/vegans!!!

75,000 for all you can eat including water, soup, and dessert. Friendly staff. They have a variety of other drinks too, including local beer and cider, around 20,000-40,000 and a selection of additional vegan cakes around 25,000 each. Great deal and great food.

Very good selection of food and I'm sure every one of them is delicious. I had the all you can eat option and was very pleased with the food. The pricing is perfectly spot on. Locals might find it slightly expensive but I'm sure foreigners will find it cheap. Great atmosphere too...

  • 4/5 Julian F. 4 years ago on Google
Good, heavy buffet (from a non-veggie) but it now costs 75k since 2020. That's a steep price increase, considering the fact that vegetables are so cheap. Atmosphere is also non-existent and staff doesn't put in much effort. I used to come here regularly when I stayed in Ubud, but now I don't think I will for the price.

The best vegan food that I’ve tried in my life. I’m not vegan and not even a vegetarian. My wife wanted to go to this cafe. We ended up going here almost every day for 2 weeks! You must try the ice cream here. It’s the best. And everything is without sugar and gluten free. We drove even 1,5 hours from Nusa Dua to eat again the food! We wish Sawabali all the best! You guys do a wonderful job! Thank you!

One of the best vegan food in Bali, imo. No msg, no gluten, no garlic-onion-shallots, and they only use mushroom and coconut for part of the herbs and spices. And their food taste super yummy! 50K all you can eat, and they have many variety of food, all freshly cooked. They also have coffee and desserts such as vegan ice cream and vegan cake for extra charge. Don't worry, they have the set price too, which is cheaper lol. Place was cozy and spacious. Service was super good. You would see many regulars come and hug the waitresses before they eat. They remember their guests fast and they remember their favourite food as well, including mine lol. And I've just been there twice. 😂 Overall, it is a very homy place with great food and nice vibes. Definitely will come back here soon.

I came here with a friend looking for some vegan and gluten free cakes. Their cakes are yummy and it’s worth the money. However, the service is the opposite. I wish it’s not because we are the locals. We received an unwelcome greetings and we experienced an uncomfortable situation during the payment too. We were not informed prior that we have to pay first before siting down and enjoy our cakes. A lady approached our table and urged us to pay first, with an attitude. At last, we lost the appetite to finish the cakes we have there (it was untouched) and we decided to just do a take away for that cake that we couldn’t finish. I asked help from them to pack it but they refused to pack by saying: what’s ordered to be eaten in the restaurant must be eaten there, and what’s ordered for take away is for take away. They refused to pack it. At first, I thought they might not have any container to do so and I was okay about it. But before I wanted to go back to my table and tried to finish my cake, thankfully there was a kind man who called me from the kitchen and offered help to pack it. Surprisingly, they have a lot of boxes back there. So I didn’t really get it why they refused to help at the first place. If I need to pay for the box, I think it would be better if they communicate it with me and of course I’m okay to pay. I hope this can be a good feedback to move forward as this restaurant offers good food.

Attention vegan & gluten free travellers..if you are in Ubud, especially if you are on a budget, this is the place for you! Nice selection of foods, I particularly enjoyed the fried stuff (which I can't usually have as a coeliac). I went in between lunch and dinner time and the owner also gave me a small plate of cakes to try since they were baking the new ones for the evening. I had absolutely no problems. The place is simple and cosy and the rules are not as overwhelming as some of the other reviewers make you think. Just follow them and be respectful I guess? ;)

VEGAN and GLUTEN-FREE. No allium (garlic, onion, etc). IDR 50 per pax, for one hour. Love! Love! Love! The food is plentiful, delicious. Love their Perkedel Kentang, with coconut mayonaise. Another one is their eggplant-dish (taste a bit like Ratatouille). Most importantly, the service is just so memorable. So down-to-earth, from welcoming us, until the very last bite. Would definitely come back! Glad to have stumbled on this place.

I'm so sorry to give a bad review, because the food is not bad. There is a good variety, some dishes like eggplants are very tasty, and the price is 50K rupees. It's a pity that I found a black hair in my dessert. I'm blonde with long hair so it was definitely not mine. I informed the waitress and she apologised but she didn't provide me with any form of compensation (which would be normal in my opinion). She only said that probably, as it is a buffet, the hair was of one of the customers. Well, I went to other buffets but it never happened before.

Super affordable vegan buffet with a hearty selection of delicious food! I came here twice in 2 days as I simply loved the food so much and it's so pocket friendly (IDR 50,000, eat all you want in 1hr)!! They don't serve alliums (onion garlic etc) which is a huge bonus to us oritental buddhist vegetarians. Highly recommended!

I was looking for a vegan cake for my boyfriend's birthday, and I decided to try buying one from Sawobali because the chocolate cake looks so yummy. I ordered the sacher torte, exactly the night before the birthday, and they can have the cake ready the next day! :) I contacted them through whatsapp. Even at night they responded really quickly and clearly, and friendly too! (Sorry sawobali for contacting you outside of your working hour!) They also offered to deliver the cake to the place near my house, so that I don't need to go so far to Ubud. (they baked their cake in Seminyak and then deliver them to their restaurant in Ubud, and my house is within their route.) The sacher torte is delicious. The decoration is pretty, with little flowers made out of rice flour. The price is affordable, too. 250.000 for a 18cm cake. Definitely reccommended! Thank you so much Sawobali :)

They move from near coco mart to here, been wanting to come for a while, and totally impressed, the food taste great and the buffet have a wide range of option, with soup, salad, dessert, and more dessert in the cake showcase! Truly a vegan paradise, and even for non vegan like me this place is great, u won't even miss the meat, and cake selection is to die for. Highly recommend the yellow rice over the red rice, the yellow rice is very fragrant and tasty, goes really well with the red beans, the corn fritters is one of the best I've had The rule is pay in advance for the buffet (IDR 50k/person) and you can eat as much as you want for 60mnt, so mind the time. And after the buffet, if you still have room for their amazing cakes, for additional 25k/slice, I highly recommend the no bake blueberry cheesecake, it's light, airy, and not too swet but very tasty. the drinks is also additional. All in all it worth the money, and obviously it's better is you are very hungry. Bring your vegan buddies here!

There is another cafe near the bintang supermarket, which is really delicious there. (Original) Самый ужасный тирамису в моей жизни Все остальное норм. Не сказать, что очень вкусно. Есть другая такая кафе возле бинтанг супермаркет, вот там действительно вкусно.

👍 Ordinary food in a spectacular location, in the middle of rice paddy. The crispy duck is really crispy, a bit too dry. The sate lilit is delicious. The gurami goreng bit bland / tasteless. Nor the sauce / sambal nor the fish have any taste. It also would be better if they have soup in their menu to...
