This is a fairly easy 2 kilometer hike along a paved trail that is easily accessible. You walk off the main road about 400 meters downhill until you reach a bridge. You will see a sign at the bridge pointing you to the right, where you will cross a river on a smaller bridge, then walk alongside a temple to start the trail. The trail is mostly uphill, but paved, so it is easy to walk. There are views of the forest from along the trail, and views of the homes along the tops of the hills. We took about 40 minutes to walk to the top (the north end of the trail) from the starting point on the road, and it was a bit quicker walking downhill on the return. At the northern end (top) of the trail, there is a cafe and a warung where you can get a meal, snacks, dessert, or a drink. They have restrooms available, but only for customers. There are a few shops at the top of the trail, and also an entry โ€œgateโ€ that is great for photos. I would recommend avoiding going on this trail during the hottest part of the day. It can be miserably hot walking the trail in the full sun. Take some water along, too!

Very easy hike, more like a nice stroll on a well crafted path, you will hear then see a waterfall which you get to if you climb down the path, if you dare! Thereโ€™s also a temple at the end of the trail or beginning depending on which side you start it from haha

We came here for our last stop on our Ubud itinerary as we wanted to end off the day with a nice sunset view. However, we were unlucky and it was cloudy on the day so we didn't see any sunset. However, the hike was still nice. It is a fairly straight path without much differences in elevation so it should be a viable option for both the elderly and children. It's about 2km and cuts through a small village at the end with many small eateries and houses. As the sun was setting when we reached there, there wasn't many people left and it was nice just strolling through and admiring the natural scenery with the temperature slightly dropping too. I would recommend this (even without the sunset views) as it will take you away from the hustle and bustle of the main Ubud town centre. However just a caveat, we didn't manage to walk all the way to the end as we were unsure of where the path would end. After walking for a while, we decided to just call our driver to pick us up at one of the landmarks. If you are visiting, just be careful of when to stop and turn back!

A nice and pleasant walk although a bit steep at some points. I thought that we would get to a view point but there isnโ€™t really any impressive view. I found the Kajeng Rice field better.

Lovely road to walk, take a lot of water and a towel with you since itโ€™s gonna get hot and sweaty, but itโ€™s completely worth it. At the end the are small restaurants to eat and to drink :)

A fantastic hiking trail. Wear non-slip, comfortable shoes (not flipflops or sandals). There is running water at the beginning and plenty of amazing plants and creatures along the way surrounded by thick vegetation.

The Trail was great. I loved walking by when I returned from the Spa (it is actually not that far from main town).

Really nice walk that ends at a small village. Can be a bit crowded at the start near the temple. There is a steep slope down to the beginning and there are some steep stairs near the temple, if you have knee issues, you might want to start from the village end, where you can still see the rice fields and the valleys. Plenty of places to stop for coffee, drinks and food also a vegan ice cream place.

Itโ€™s so good to spend a day walking around the campuhan, it feels so refreshing you can smell the nature and sound of birds. I came here at 4.30 pm and I think it was the perfect time to get the warm weather and nice sun lights.

Really nice nature walk along a ridge. The paths are pretty well maintained less one small area where the walkway collapsed. It is generally windy throughout but have a lot of sun. At the halfway mark along the whole ridge, there are many cafes to sit around and bask in nature. This is where everybody usually turns back and return to the entrance.

There are a couple view points of houses but I wouldnโ€™t put this on your list of must do activities. On the 2km walk from the Ibah hotel up to the stores at the top do not have view points of rice fields, those are on a different trail. If you have mobility limitations avoid this trail because of the uneven and awkward shaped paving stones.

Refreshing. Rejuvenating. The fresh smell of soil and leaves during the walk. Magnificent view, Sunrise, Paddy fields and moreover the track on its own

Nice trail to go for a morning walk. If you start from the south entrance, youโ€™ll end up in an area with lots of stores and restaurants. I recommend trying Bamboo Kitchen.

Honestly this is just a connecting road from one place to another. In some spots it might be good for photos, it's just not that good now. It's been covered in a lot of bushes and you can't see the view below.

Steep climb to begin with, be prepared! You should be somewhat healthy and be sure to take water or stop at Petruk's to get a coconut, the best kind of hydration. Spectacular views of the lush green forest, totally worth it. I recommend wearing sneakers or any comfy walking shoes.

Nice nature walk without car traffic which is a relief in a dirty noisy city as ubud. You need strong legs to get up hill and stairs. Prepare its hot. Upon mountain many cafes. Recommended walk to escape filthy citylife.

If the grass from the sides were cut it would be perfect. Otherwise you don't see much. Nearby Rice Fields Walk is much more beautiful and less crowded.

If you haven't ventured outside Ubud and don't plan to but still want to see some rice fields here one such opportunity.
