Mr Lateef offered us a delicious tea from his homeland of Kashmir and graciously showed us his products while sharing information about his culture. Lateef’s shop was one of the first we saw when we arrived in Udaipur and it was by far our favorite. It is a clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated little store with gorgeous scarves, shawls, pillowcases, rugs, and other textiles made by members of his family in Kashmir, which he is so proud of. Be warned: though Lateef is patient and not at all pushy, it is impossible to resist buying something (even if you’re generally a cheap shopper like me) because you’re never seen more beautiful pieces! Don’t hesitate to stop in; he’s also willing to ship :)
