The hotel is located on laal ghat, adjacent to the lake. It is difficult to reach by cabs. Please prefer autos to reach here. The hotel is nice with infrastructure, ambience and interior. Loved the room and the pool on the terrace. The view is amazing only from the terrace. No room is having window view. Things I loved: 1. The staff. Helpful and well mannered. 2. The room. Clean and maintained with all the amenities (however, bathrobes and slippers aren't included) 3. Pool on the terrace with lake view. Everything was stunning at night πŸŒƒ with the blend of starlight and city light. 4. Food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious. Things I didn't like much: 1. The hotel didn't have any room service in pretext of covid situation which doesn't make any sense. You will not be served with food in your room but you can dine in the restaurant where I failed to see any covid precautionary measures. I had the only option to dine in but again failed to get the leftover food to my room even after multiple requests. Little guilt over food wastage on my relaxing trip. 2. DJ. At night the ambience was nice and romantic with all the candle light setting. However the DJ was high on alcohol while performing. Hence couldn't deliver better performance. Recommendations for the tourists: 1. Please coordinate with the hotel staff for your arrival. It's hard to get cabs even with Ola/Uber. 2. City palace is just 5mins walk. Keep a day to yourself for city palace museum and boating. 3. Hotel is overal nice and I loved the stay there. Suggestions: 1. Improve on your room service. 2. If possible, add bathrobes and slippers to your amenities list.

I've been at this place at least seven to eight times, The minuses are that it's on Lal Ghar So you can't drive into the Hotel, you have to park at a common parking and then walk to it which is manageable. I am a biker so I usually park my bike right outside the hotel. Some people might feel the regular rooms to be small but are nice and clean. The best part is the pool and restaurant on the terrace. The view is awesome, one can sit and chill all day long and enjoy the Sunset and night view.

A guide friend had arranged a romantic dinner for two at this hotel. They really rose to the occasion, and treated us wonderfully, including a special spot by the pool, balloons, cake, candle, flowers etc...We didn't stay there (though we probably should have) as the Aurika on the other side of the lake was a major disappointment. Based on the way they took care of us, I suspect they do a great job on the hotel side too. The view from the rooftop pool is really great.

Pros: 1. Convenient location in the heart of Udaipur, close to popular attractions 2. Relatively clean rooms with tea and coffee making facilities 3. Stunning views of Pichola Lake from the rooftop 4. Helpful staff who genuinely strive to assist guests Cons: 1. Not disabled-friendly or senior citizen-friendly 2. Taxis cannot reach the hotel entrance; guests must take an auto-rickshaw and walk the last 100 meters 3. Dirty road leading to the hotel with occasional animal feces 4. Lift access requires climbing a few stairs 5. Restaurant is located on the top floor, which is not accessible by elevator 6. None of the rooms have a view, and some rooms lack proper ventilation, leading to persistent odors 7. Street dogs may bark at night, and nearby hotels may play loud music, disrupting sleep 8. Staff appears to be untrained in customer service and hotel management 9. Lack of a general manager 10. Apparent disconnect between the hotel and the restaurant 11. Restaurant staff may not seem friendly or accommodating 12. Absence of a manager to address customer concerns 13. Staff lacks adequate training to handle senior citizen or general customer issues Overall Recommendation: I would recommend this hotel with caution, considering the mixed reviews and potential drawbacks. The hotel's convenient location and helpful staff are its strong points, but the lack of accessibility, unpleasant surroundings, and inconsistent service could detract from the overall experience

Never go here for your special occasions. I had plans for my anniversary on 5 Feb 2023 but hotel spoiled by not giving services. Hotel denied table reservations on anniversary even when table was available. We had to rush other hotel to celebrate anniversary. Total waste of 3700 rs for 1 day. Having coffee was forgettable experience as had to stand their to pay the bill instead of bill getting added in check out payments. Overall we will drop our plan for March for 11 rooms because we can't have such suffering again.

I spent 3 nights there but my experience was very bad staying there. First there staff was very rude and uncooperative towards the guests small request. While checking in I requested them to provide early check in and despite bad health of my daughter they didn't relent to my request. Once I got stuck in lift due to electricity failure and I rang the emergency bell many times but nobody came to help proactively. I requested to clean the room and bathroom once more but they declined it bluntly. Second the access road to their entrance is very dirty and the top view is not that good as shown in pictures. I went into this hotel after checking the good reviews but now I doubt that reviews. I was staying in ground floor and of you open the windows the view was very unpleasant. They also don't provide the taxable invoice with gst which I had requested from them and they had promised to give it in email but I have not received it yet. I would request everyone to please rethink before booking this hotel and don't ruin your holiday

One word - Pathetic . Do not believe any of the good reviews. Good view of the lake from top floor only . Stray dogs and cattle greet you in the narrow lane leading to the entrance. When central Geyser is turned on , all Taps run Hot boiling water [ no cold/normal water ] No exhaust fan in toilets/ smell lingers for a long time . 3rd floor rooms right below the kitchen ; loud noises most of the time, Common switches for light & sockets . Outside food not allowed ; so they can rip you at their high priced rooftop restaurant with the poorest of services. No room service either. Staff not so competant/ Restaurant staff rude

Title: Disastrous Stay at Udaigarh Hotel My recent stay at Udaigarh Hotel left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. I cannot believe how poorly managed this establishment is, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others. From the moment I checked in, it was clear that the staff at Udaigarh Hotel lacked basic courtesy and professionalism. Their indifferent attitude made me regret my decision to stay here. I encountered rude behavior from multiple staff members, which made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable throughout my stay. The room I was assigned to was far from the advertised "comfortable and luxurious" experience. The condition of the room was shocking – the furniture was outdated and worn, the linens were stained, and the overall cleanliness was questionable. It was clear that the room hadn't been properly maintained for quite some time. Adding to the disappointment was the state of the amenities. The Wi-Fi, which was advertised as being available, was practically non-existent. The so-called "continental breakfast" was a sad assortment of stale pastries and lukewarm coffee. It's as if the hotel didn't care about providing even the most basic services to its guests. I had hoped to enjoy the picturesque views that Udaigarh Hotel supposedly offered, but even that was a letdown. The windows were so dirty that it was nearly impossible to see anything clearly, and it felt like the management couldn't care less about providing a pleasant environment. In conclusion, my stay at Udaigarh Hotel was an absolute disaster. The lack of professionalism, poor room conditions, and nonexistent amenities have left me with a deeply negative impression. I strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere for accommodation. This hotel falls far short of the standards one would expect and is simply not worth the hassle or disappointment.

I have never seen a stupid hotel like Udaigarh in Udaipur. First of all they don't have any parking. While booking they tell you that there's govt. Parking 150 meters from the property and you will get paid parking there. Upon arrival they send you to other places to park. So after 7 hours of driving to Udaipur look for parking (couldn't find one). Called the hotel to refund as it was not possible for us to stay. NOW NO REFUND POLICY is shoved in your face and you end up loosing your money. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE The Manager Mr. Promod says if parking is full it's not our fault SORRY NO REFUND FIND YOUR OWN PARKING AND STAY WITH US OR LOOSE YOUR MONEY PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF SUCH IDIOTS WHO ARE IN BUSINESS

Amazing property especially their rooftop view. One of the best In udiapur . The receptionist is very polite , room service is amazing . The only lagging point is their rooftop cafe. They really need to work on their service.

This hotel really is a hidden gem and we can not recommend it enough. It really is a hotel not to be missed. The location is perfect. With a beautiful rooftop restaurant the views are spectacular and the ambiance, very calm and peaceful. Just what you need on your holiday. The food is delicious and top class, some of the best Indian dishes we have ever eaten. Every meal we have eaten here, albeit it breakfast, lunch or dinner, has looked and tasted, delicious. We have had the choice of many restaurants whilst here, but choose to eat here because we know the food is five stars. The rooms are beautiful and a pleasure to stay and relax in, with beautiful decor, hot showers and a comfortable bed. This hotel has so much to offer but the best part of all is the staff, they are all so welcoming and cheerful to see you, they have really made our stay here, perfect. We would like to say a massive thank you to Bharat Singh, Rajendra Singh, Fateh Lal and Gautam, for making our stay here so special. Your attention to detail and upmost care has been first class. You really are a great team and a credit to this establishment. We have had many interactions with you and you have always been, professional, polite and genuinely caring. We cannot thank you enough. We will always remember you and think of you with fondness. Once again, thank you. If you’re looking for that special gem of a hotel, whilst visiting Udaipur. Look no further, this place really has it all.

The service was very bad. If you plan on having breakfast in the restaurant better to order a day before , very slow service of breakfast(there is no buffet). The rooms have very poor ventilation(no windows). The water pressure is uneven which makes the jetspray in bathroom move when not in use so be careful. Overall not worth the price paid.

Conveniently located with spectacular views of Lake Pichola and the mountains, this hotel provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay in Udaipur. The staff was welcoming and helpful β€” they helped us coordinate bus tickets and were quick to restock anything we needed in our room. The rooftop deck was a dreamy place to escape the city, take in the sites, and relax.

Had a pleasant stay in this Hotel. Was able to get a last minute deal during New Years. Great location, good views from the rooftop and good food. Rooms and washroom are a bit small but within this price I feel you cannot expect much.

I only like rooftop pool and room, it was budget friendly and nice with location to chill your evening with sunset and mountain View along with lake view, chanting of temple and namaz sound is so peaceful. Only service was not good because I gave suggestions to a friend from out Udaipur and he needed lake view hotel and gave suggestions of this hotel but he didn't enjoy food quality (bread was old(baasi) as well as service. He shared one thing with me that he was sitting over rooftop and next to him foreigner (customer from out of India) seating, he observed that staff was so polite and nice to them while talking and guiding, entertainment but not a nice response to him as he was equally paying to hotel along with TIP, this was very bad experience of him as he is well travelled around 50+ country of all continent. But this partiality broke his heart and said he will not stay next time. Writing this here because as Indian we welcome all people (colour, cast, religion, region, etc.) for the sake of tourist business we can't do partiality with any guests (wether he/she is paying tip or not but he/she paying for full hotel and service bill) I felt bad because my suggestion spoil his mood and work. He and me full disappointed

The hotel is in very odd place with no access to cab or Auto. Old fashioned rooms with poor Housekeeping & no any view. Hygeine is poor. Tariff is higher as in the same cost we get better deals in Main Town. Will not prefer it again

I would have given zero review for service and amenities. There is no cupboard in the room no toiletries in washroom. Not worth for the cost they charge.

Very very beautifully located. Prices are reasonable. Food quality is good. 200 Mts from City Place. Near the market. Transportation available. Restaurant is in house. Veg and non ved food is available. Jheel view is amazing Fort view is quit clear. Although at a distance. It’s amazing to watch boats in the lake from the top terrace and restaurant. Night viewing is very soothing. You can take dinner and view the lake. WiFi is available in all rooms and terrace. I have been working on laptop at terrace with good food , drinks . Really good time spent. Oh forgot to tell swiming pool is also available on terrace with lake view. Th Pichola lake is very beautiful. With lot of Mahal in side.

Reaching the hotel is quite a task. We took a cab and then a auto and 200m walk to reach it. the room and everything was decent enough. The main attraction is the roof top restaurants. It steals all the negative reviews. In the end a good stay.

We went for lunch here. The terrace top restaurant provides stunning view of the hills and lake. Food taste and quality is amazing. Just order anything off the menu. The staff is very friendly, courteous and hospitable. They go beyond to provide you with superb service. I will definitely be visiting again

Stayed here for 4 nights. Good value and very comfortable beautiful rooms. Have given 4 stars for service rather than 5 because of the following things: 1) internet is slow and unreliable. Unable to stream any shows due to speed. 2) Rickshaw driver arranged by the hotel tried to change the agreed price on arrival at the bus station. He backed down after a brief argument. This is a minor thing but did add an unnecessary stress to our trip. Rooftop restaurant has excellent and friendly service, good food/drinks at a reasonable price and a brilliant view.

This hotel has a fantastic view from the rooftop. The location is very good and reachable from anywhere however the Rooms are a bit smaller…. What I really liked is the hospitality especially by their Manager - Pradeep. He picked me up from a place I was stuck due to road restrictions. They really care about the safety of their guests.

Small rooms, lake view is amazing, it is located in the core market of old udaipur near jagdish temple.lanes there are very small and narrow hence if you have your own vehicle you will have to park in the nearby parking lot as cars will not go there.area gets very crowded during festival times.roof top restaurant is good but little expensive.lights go but not very often.food is not served in the rooms.overall nice place.

If one is planning to book this hotel then very first thing to keep in mind that the hotel is quite inside the local streets and hardly any vehicle reached to this place, now come to the room and service part, service is damn pathetic, staff doesn’t know how to talk and behave and attend any guest, rooms are just okay since converted a old fashioned mahal kind of in hotel and tried to give ancient touch however basic amenities are missing in room like TCM, slippers etc. No one is guide you about the food availability and venue for the same. Need a lot of improvements.

I am giving this rating because google won't allow me to give negative stats. So first things first, me and my 6 friends decided to stay at Hotel Udaigarh. The following points must be noted : 1) Whoever designed the connections inside the room is great, the switch of "FAN" is controlled from outside the room so just in case you want to turn ON/OFF the FAN early morning or late night you have to go out of the room and do it. 2) There are lots and lots of restrictions inside the Hotel, for example: No food allowed inside room so you have to compulsory go to the rooftop restaurant which in turn also offer limited menu with very very low value for money. 3) Thirdly, they charged us approximately Rs 600-700 for morning breakfast which in turn timings are 8:30 - 10:00 and also with only 4-5 dishes available with single serve of juice and no fresh fruits. 4) No parking provided by the hotel which is very frustrating and also the location is very ripped off, we couldn't even find the right directions on google maps.

Manager and Staff is rude and full of attitude. Breakfast is very limited and not good. Pool is operational for limited tym and eve 6:30 it closes that's a very negative point as guests would like to relax in pool in eve after a long day of sightseeing. They don't even provide complementary water bottle to the room that's also chargeable daily. Overall not worth the money. There are several better hotels in the same location than this. Totally Bad experience

It was a very beautiful experience at Udaigarh. I with my friends stayed here for 1 night. The view from the terrace is next level. Dinner experience at Roof Top Restaurant was awesome (Must Try). They Serve variety of veg food. Udaigarh does not has a proper parking facility.

The hotel is not exactly along the lake, however, the view from the rooftop is pretty good. The rooms are clean, but for the price you pay, they are quite small. The toilet seat was broken in my room. And the spa facility that they claim to have on the booking sites doesn't exist. The restaurant staff was very courteous and served us with love and I think that was the best part of my experience here.

Normal hotel , slow service in terms of providing food. Lot of stray dogs near hotel Premises which usually bark all day but in night they go crazy and doesn’t let u have sound sleep. Hotel staff supports but it’s beyond their control as there are many . Rooms are ok with basic amenities. Food is normal but expensive

Dont judge this hotel only by the approach road and exterior looks. It's a hidden gem in old city. We stayed in room no 304 which was a lake view room.Rooms including toilets were neat and clean.Housekeeping services were superb. All the staffs were polite and ready to help in each and every needs. Its nearby by to all prominent attractions like city palace,Jagdish temple, etc. The view of lake Pichola from the roof top restaurant was stunning and food was yummy. Only problem we faced was the limited availability of hot water. But we ignored this minor issue due to so many positive things.Indeed a great stay..!!!
