After
my
LONG
flight
from
Seattle,
my
wifes
aunt
took
us
to
this
restaurant
for
lunch.
At
first,
i
thought
it
was
an
Egyptian
restaurant
(because
of
the
name,
and
all
the
Egyptian
stuff),
but
it's
only
"Egyptian"
by
name.
The
atmosphere
is
relaxed,
and
there
is
a
monitor
that
has
a
video
introduction
to
wines
on
loop.
The
restaurant
has
a
varied
assortment
of
wines
and
beers
from
different
locales,
and
the
menus
are
both
english/thai
(which
is
good
for
those
like
me!).
Unlike
most
restaurants,
they
offer
both
thai
and
European
food
as
well....including
steaks.
I
went
with
the
seafood
hot
plate,
and
it
was
very
good....containing
a
generous
amount
of
seafood
and
vegetables,
all
in
a
flavorful
sauce.
We
also
had
the
fried
beef
and
stir-fried
vegetables...and
everything
was
quite
tasty.
The
service
was
adequate,
albeit
a
bit
slow
(as
with
almost
all
restaurants
in
thailand),
and
the
staff
was
pleasant
and
helpful.
We
went
there
during
lunch
hour,
but
i
can
easily
see
many
people
there
during
the
Evening
as
well.
I
would
definitely
recommend
this
restaurant....especially
for
going
with
family/friends.
