After you eat here, it leaves no doubt that this place will be here another 40 years. Service and food were both very good. We had shrimp with asparagus, assorted seafood ingredients curry coconut, crab croquettes and clear soup with minced pork and seaweed. As other reviews have stated...Maeya is a must visit restaurant in Udon Thani.

This restaurant locates in the city. There is no car park available but you can park along the street. We were waiting for staff to take an order for around 15 mins and waiting for our meal for roughly almost an hour. At first, we were pretty upset because it took more than an hour from entering the restaurant until we got the first dish. But once all dishes have been served, they were incredibly delicious. In the end, we forgive them because food is superb, the staffs are nice and friendly, and the place is clean. We visited during the holiday so I believed that is a reason why they were busy and took sometimes to serve food. Good job guys :)

An okay restaurant in a nice building with a great interior. They serve both Thai and Western food and have an extensive menu. Neatly dressed staff were attentive and refilled the glass when necessary. Parking is in the streets around the restaurant.

Oh man, this is a gem. It feels like they fix the time to 80's. Nice atmosphere. Energetic staffs. Their menu is like an encyclopedia of Thai street food. The menu is so thick. VARIOUS CHOICES!!! Great taste, very good price. Very cold air conditioning. Be careful though for the spiciness. Dishes can be very hot .. burning your tonge if you're not getting used to the local taste yet. Highly recommend.

Best of both worlds. Huge selection of delicious Thai food and good service. Large air-conditioned room, but feels like your on a balcony. The dessert menu is worth a look. อร่อยและต้องไป

All are delicious. Give 5 stars for this restaurant, a place that located here for more than 35 years. Still keep their quality.

Udon's long establishment, I've been coming here since my parents moved here (15+years). Many things to choose from the menu, my fav is แหนมกระดูกหมูทอด. However, we noticed the change of taste, that is a bit off. Not sure if they changed the chef or what. I hope they will fix it soon to restore their reputation.

It’s a famous restaurant of the province. Personally, it’s okay but not wow as much as I hope it to be.

Authentic Thai food with a sharing size plate. The shrimp soup is really tasty and flavorful. A fried rice with basil and fried fish dish is quite unique and totally recommend. If you are visiting Udon Thani and looking for Thai food with beautiful atmosphere dining, this place is a must visit. The location is a city center so you can walk around after. Pricing is reasonable comparing to the ingredient quality and proportion.

A staple in Udon Thani. This place has been around forever and the interior shows. The food is to die for, prices are reasonable and portions are big. The menu is neverending and has both Thai dishes (all of them)and some western dishes too. Highly recommend

Food was delicious, and the ambiance was nice. One of our items came after we finished eating and received the bill already. The bill also had the item which came late, the waiter suggested we pack the items to go home. That was a big no no.

Decided to try this restaurant because of the previous good reviews. Have to say we were disappointed. Waited for almost 30 mins for something really simple to make. The only dish worth our stomach was the duck curry. Will give it a second shot next time I am in Udon Thani.

Arrived an hour before closing at 8.45pm after a flight and was turned away from the restaurant although the sign and online clearly said it closed at 10pm. They turned the sign to "closed" while I was inside which I thought was incredibly insulting. If you don't want to serve customers, change your hours online and in your store so you can not waste people's time. Not a great way to build your reputation for tourists and a really unwelcoming start to my time in Udon Thani. I plan to come back to Udon Thani with a group and will not bring this place business. 10/10 would not recommend.

Great food selection and classic store layout. One of the most well known restaurant in the city and well deserved. Being a vegetarian the offer variety is vast.. Andy most importantly yummy!

I first ate here about 15 years ago when it was one of the few places in town that had Western food in an air-conditioned setting. So this is an oldie, but I'm not sure it's a goodie. I respect it because it's a local institution, but there are so many other eateries now that serve much better quality food. Still worth a visit, though. Make sure to order a dessert.

The best restaurant in Udon Thani. I’ve lived here 4-years. Not just amazing Thai and European food but perfect service and a great environment.

An evolved Thai restaurant with their own specialties. Portion was generous and attentive service too.
