I love the fountains and ponds here; it gives this place a sense of peace and relaxation. As soon as I approached the first pond, all the colourful fish came swimming towards me, I guess expecting food. Apart from the beautiful surroundings, it is also a culturally significant place. The museum describes the impact of Chinese entrepreneurial migrants on Udon in the late 1800s, bringing trade, mechanisation, and processing to the agrarian economy. The basement of the museum is dedicated to the life and achievements of Confucius. Whilst this place is free to visit, I think it is only fair (if you enjoy the experience) to give a small donation. Tip boxes are available to do so. There are also several shops by the pond selling various items, garments, ornaments, etc.

Awesome place since it’s a free entrance place but everything is well maintained, even the toilet is very clean. The place is good for taking picture but for serious people they also can learn alot from this place. This place is worth to visit.

Nice beautiful Chinese temple. Must visit in udonthani. Also inside the temple has such a very beautiful park and lake just to relax. Local people come for pray and exercise around afternoon. Best for watching sunset too at the lake which reflects the lighted temple at sun down moment. Recommended time: 17.00 and after

Less beautiful and interesting than it could and should be, but still worth coming to visit. It would be better if it were better looked after and if there were more attractions. Free entrance.

The Thai-Chinese Cultural Center is a peaceful retreat just steps from the shores of Nong Bua Park Lake in Udon Thani. Step inside to experience some classic architecture & gardens.

The Thai-Chinese Cultural Centre is rather small but very tranquil. There are some stores, a tea experience shop, a food store. Once you enter, you are greeted with a walkway over the water with big koi coming toward you for food. After visiting the centre, you can walk over to the Chao Pu Chao Ya temple, which overlooks a small lake.

They pack a lot of content, into a compact space here, with several museums (Confucius, Moral and History of Udon Thani) rolled into one at the Thai-Chinese Cultural Centre. Immaculate gardens, fish ponds and fountains (see my YouTube), complete the beautiful picture here. Centrally located adjacent to Nong Bua Public Park and a short walk to UD Town, with ample car parking, so the location is super convenient too

Very beautiful and peaceful grounds. A very well organized historical museum, with artifacts, statues, and sculptures. Feeding the fish in a very unique way allows you to get very close to them as they are feeding. There are numerous photo opportunities with excellent scenic backgrounds. I highly recommend you visit the center and enjoy everything it has to offer.

Lovely cultural centre Udon Thani as l learned has a heavy influence from Laos and the Chinese people. You can get some interesting insights about the history of this relatively new town. They celebrated its 126th year anniversary in January 2019. There are nice places for photos and for having a test to take in the environment. I found it a nice experience. Free entry and you probably will need to stay about an hour to get some value. It's virtually across the road from UD town.
