The museum describes the impact of Chinese entrepreneurial migrants on Udon in the late 1800s, bringing trade, mechanisation, and processing to the agrarian economy. The basement of the museum is dedicated to the life and achievements of Confucius. Whilst this place is free to visit, I think it is only fair (if you enjoy the experience) to give a small donation. Tip boxes are available to do so. There are also several shops by the pond selling various items, garments,ornaments, etc.

They pack a lot of content, into a compact space here, with several museums (Confucius, Moral and History of Udon Thani) rolled into one at the Thai-Chinese Cultural Centre.
