Had alot of food and things to do.

Thung Si Muang is place for fair, expo and other big activities middle of the city. It locates government, province and city administration complex area. It has beautiful chinese temple, where you can make a merit. Best time to visit TSM is christmas time early december when they have a big fair there. Near there is couple good restaurants and big park.

I visited during the annual fair. It was lively and interesting.

Farmers morning market at Thung Si Muang, Udon is a great pleasure to visit, all kinds of super fresh fruit, herbs and vegetables at very low prices, far fresher and cheaper than any supermarket Nice people, very welcoming and helpful The market is closed on Mondays and Thursdays

When the festival is on, it is a bit too much otherwise it gets a higher review for the rest of the year.

Unfortunately, Thing So Muang has been governed by politicians for a few years already. Thing Si Muang used to be a public area where people do their activities such as jogging, aerobic, exercises, etc. The most famous activity is a yearly Thung Si Muang fair which beings in winter, from 1st. till 10th. of December. Nowadays, Thing So Muang has been changed a lot so that it's not so nice like before anymore. The provincial governor whom elected a few years ago has made projects to the place so that he had something in behind that I could not describe here though.

Nice Relaxing area

I enjoyed it just for the shopping and getting some special plants not normally available.

A very large fair was on the go during my visit, so a good place to spend the evening.

A place to visit if you are in Sakon Nakhon

Nice place Otop, when they visit your town. Pay them a visit.
