Ideal camping site to stay for a few days when visiting the westside of the Bodensee. It's a good alternative for the nearby camping Seeperle, which is only for permanent residents. The camping site has a very good restaurant , next to it's little beach. As it's a popular spot, you might need to book a table upfront. There a are also good restaurants in the neighouring town UnterUhldingen

Am giving this a one purely because the couple in the reception desk are very unhelpful . When we arrived we were greeted with what was almost a scowl by the male. Then we needed to fill our gas tank in the camper and checking out, asked the female if she knew where we may be able to do this . Basically was told that she could not help. No effort to assist her customers at all. Should not be in the customer service business these two. Kudos however to the restaurant staff - very very friendly and helpful.

I stayed at this camp from 28th July 2014 for three nights, the site is clean and tidy and the facility's are very good and kept to a high standard although you have only one electric key for the facility's this can be a problem when there are more than one person who wishes to shower at the same time, and you spend your time asking for the key. The office staff were very rude and unprofessional to us, on first arriving there gave us the wrong change for our deposit and left us short by 20 Euro, they would not accept they had short changed us, but did however cash the till later in the evening and found they were over and refunded our cash. On leaving we were again faced with problems paying as they would not accept some payment on card and some cash, they would only settle the bill with all cash or all card, and were very rude to us asking us to leave the office until we could pay in one payment type. I would not recommend this site as there are plenty of other sites to stay at and all had a nice standard and some with nicer locations around the lake.

I only give it a two because the people that run this camp are un helpful, 40€ a night for a tent two people and two dogs . €10 a night for 2 dogs . When we checked out we parked just down the road so we could walk the dogs then the man who ran the camp came down the road asking use if we had paid ,if he had checked 1st in the office he would know of corse we had. I was not happy and would not go there again.

We stayed in a tent for one night during our bike trip around the lake. This was definitely the worst camping on our way. The space for tents is very small and on the rocky ground, no grass, very hard to even put a tent properly. No power sockets, no space to prepare food. You can find much better campings around the lake for the same price.

We were too late for the check in but fortunately the hostess from restaurant guided us to a place where we could setup our tent and lend us her key to the facilities. Great service! Recommended: a nice breakfast with view of the bodensee. Also free wifi connection!

Camping spot near by Bodensee, very nice people who runs it. Unfortunately very full, we looked on a old camper and were surrounded by places were nobody stayed (long term guests who weren't there). Water was low, it was not possible to bath at the camping place. But on the way to Meersburg were some places you could bath. Just one washing machine and tumbler made it difficult to get time to wash. Good breakfast service. Clean facilities. Dogs were welcome.

Our stay was to short due to the bad weather. I great pro were the showers, no coins, self settable temp and movable shower heads. Great welkom of the hosts over there!
