I really love this place, it's probably the best building to live in Utrecht. They host a bunch of fun events every month, the residents are very social, there is a cinema room, a big kitchen you can reserve, multiple common rooms, piano in the lobby. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful! Really the place to be

I've been living in Canvas for a few months now and it's a great place to live! The studios are super modern and nice, they have everything you need and are exactly what you would expect from the pictures on the website. But even better are the people at Canvas, the staff is always helpful, respond very quickly and do their best to make your stay a good experience. There are monthly events organized at Canvas that make it easy to socialize and get to know your housemates. In general, it's a really well thought out living concept here and I would definitely recommend Canvas to anyone coming to Utrecht. Thank you! :)

I have been living in Canvas for one year now and i can confidently say its been a remarkable experience. The staff is always helpful and approachable for any concerns or just a chat whenever i need. Studios are well designed and it makes me feel at home. I have never had a bad experience in this building. They organize pretty fun events each month for the engagement of community and its a great way to socialize and destress especially in exam weeks. As an MBA student, I had a lengthy wait to secure accommodation at Canvas Utrecht, but once I was enrolled, the experience was incredibly positive. The fully furnished and soundproof rooms provided a peaceful and private living space. The diverse array of activities organized by the dedicated Utrecht staff created a vibrant community atmosphere. The social spaces, thoughtfully designed for relaxation and interaction, were perfect for unwinding from the rigors of academic and professional life. While the website can sometimes be less user-friendly, leading to initial doubts about reliability, the overall experience is highly dependent on demand and season. My advice to future residents is to be patient during the waiting period. The quality of life and community at Canvas Utrecht is well worth the wait.

I've lived in a standard studio for 2 years and it's been a great experience. The studio is quite small but the interior is well-designed and makes the best use of the space. The common areas offer many amenities and are always kept in excellent condition. The staff is very friendly and supportive, and works hard to make constant improvements. In addition, the location is quite convenient - it is close to the central station (less than 10 min by bike and tram) and there is a direct tram to the Science Park that stops right in front of Canvas. In general, the price/quality ratio was very good, especially with housing allowance.

Canvas is a fantastic community for students and a great home, especially for those new to the Netherlands. The apartments were tastefully decorated and the building shared facilities were in excellent condition and kept clean and tidy. Everything looked as good as on the website, which was a relief when committing to a lease from abroad without seeing the place. The community aspect made meeting people very easy and helped a lot with the big move to the Netherlands. Canvas is in a good location with excellent public transport links and bike routes. Having a great gym onsite was also helpful. The staff at canvas were always accessable and quick to support when needed. I highly recommend Canvas to any student looking to find a new home in Utrecht.

The hosts are friendly and welcoming and there are many events in great conditions. The studios in Utrecht are spacious and the location is ideal. If I ever had the chance to make the same choice again, I would definitely choose it.

I will always call this place my home in the Netherlands. ❤️ It’s my 3rd year here and it cannot get any better. I will be so sad when I’m going to be gone for good! The staff are my favourite thing about this place though. They are always in their best mood, and truly caring people. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
