A gem in the Randstad. Beautiful quiet lakes. An Eldorado for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. 't Haventje, an excellent marina for sailing boats and smaller motor boats, is also located on the Langeraarseweg.

Great lake for boating. You can also swim here, walk around it, take windsurging lessons or learn how to sail. A lot of birds and generally reasonably quiet. In winter, when it's fronzen over, it's a good lication for ice skating. Getting here by boat from outside is not obvious, as you have to pass a manually operated lock that's hard to find and your boat cannot be too large. Still, if you manage to get here, you'll have a great time!

The Langeraarse Plassen is a beautiful area, I have been coming there for years. The lakes are somewhat shallow and are therefore not easily accessible.

Wonderful recreational lake, especially with the new developments even more accessible for people without a boat to have a fun day out
