I recently stayed here for four nights and I must say that it was a very clean place, with excellent security and a very helpful and friendly staff. The location is in downtown Ulaanbaatar, within a short walking distance to the main post office and the Chingiss Square monument. I would strongly recommend this establishment to anyone who is contemplating traveling to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

New and clean establishment, with spotless shared bathrooms. Excellent location right in the middle of the city. The rooms are small with only a bed and small table. The staff hardly speaks a word of English (even though the hostel caters almost exclusively to tourists). The breakfast is VERY plain. There is a kitchen at the disposal of the guests, as well as a laundry machine. The view from the room was of a construction site, that was active until 22:00.

The place is ok if your standards are low and you want a convenient location. I had a private room which was overpriced for the shabby conditions with half the lights out or not working. The common baths had broken plumbing and no toilet paper for 3 days, 4 days for 1 of 2 stalls. They don't provide soap in the showers.

The hostel is indeed modern and cosy. We had warm showers and toilet paper. However, being 8 people we negotiated the price down to 10USD, without breakfast (they didn't have the option). Next day, they asked for 15USD (the normal price). We went across the street to Vision Tours and stayed there for 8USD, breakfast included. They'd rather keep the hostel empty than lower the price a little to match the market.

Everything you need in a hostel. It was cheap, quiet and you have a own locker and hot and clean shower. Would stay there again. It's very good located right in the city centre.

Good location, poor amenities (half of the WC and a quarter of the showers are out of order), absent staff. Nobody at the reception during open hours. We had only one blanket for two beds, and the heating did not work.

Good place and nice Hostess. I was very comfortable during my stay. MMH is located near the city centre and its convenient to walk to resturants,malls and work. Place is nice and well maintained as owner lives in same building.

Attention! Staff stole my money !!! I have seen video and noticed. I contacted police. Police have checked camera and video. But staff has already cut out and deleted video! I did not believe!!! No proof!
