Not that big, but quite clean airport with a lot of shopping options. What I was missing was some airport lounge that I usually use when I have few hours long overlay between my flights. I managed with any. An annoying thing to experience was that some internal system for travelers' transits was not working. So I and my boyfriend needed to leave the departure area and waited in a line for security check to catch our connecting flight. This was a bit stressful, especially because the lines were way too long and they were moving slowly. The security guys were properly checking everything and everyone.
Beautifully designed and super efficient. The Oslo region should definitely be proud of this airport. This was my first visit to the country and at no point did I have any questions about navigating security and customs—it was perfectly clear and well organized. The Airport Express train (Flytoget) offers a fast, direct trip to Oslo Central Station in just 19 minutes, and regional trains and buses are also available. 😥 Stink in the toilets, litter under chairs and benches, and grimy, overcrowded garbage cans. A few choices of restaurants and cafes suit to my taste.
I travelled through Oslo lufthavn while on my journey to Helsinki and I would say my expierence was very good. The security process was quick and they had a good amount of shopping, and food options inside. Overall, a very good airport.

Moderately sized airport that is easy to access all the gates. Very large variety of shopping items in the duty free area. Toilets are a bit hard to find if you don’t walk into the side areas. Chairs and floors can be really dirty, especially compared to other Scandinavian airports. The entrance from the airport train station is really inconvenient with the two sets of hand pushed turning doors.

The airport can get busy during peak hours, and some dining options are pricey, but overall a smooth and comfortable experience.
Traveling to/from this airport is fairly easy. With easy access to the train to get to the main Oslo central station every 10 minutes (except Saturday). It can be a bit of a walk around the terminal to get from one point to another. Plenty of food options, and also tax free stores. Border control is on gates F. No human currency exchanges. Only off of ATMs throughout the airport.
