I have been living in Nottingham for more than 5 years, but this restaurant provided the worst service I’ve ever had. It’s a place full of racism and discrimination. The restaurant staff always bothered us when we were eating food and pushed us to order food and leave soon. They basically ruined everything and rejected us to pay separately. The price is also more expensive than other Chinese restaurants. I don’t recommend people eating here.

Absolutely the authentic taste of old Hong Kong and we all miss it so much!! The dim sum are scrumptious and we particularly like their barbecued pork crisp, egg tart and shrimp dumpling. Most impressive dishes are roasted duck, fried stuffed three treasure (煎釀三寶), sweet and sour pork and stir fried rice noodles with beef.

We came here originally on Thursday. But they were closed. Serves me right for not paying attention to the opening hours on Google Maps. Luckily, Nottingham is pretty small that coming back the next day was no issue. The food here is on par with and even better, in some cases, than dim sum restaurants in Canada (Downtown Toronto, Scarborough). We ordered 8 dishes for a family of three and was satisfied with the portion sizes. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for quality dim sum.

It was a very popular place and might require reservation in advance if the customer did not want to wait. A bit disappointed that the food was only on average, dish and dim sum size were small. Staff was quite friendly and refilling of tea pot was fast.

As a Chinese it’s a place where I can always fall back on, authentic taste, good variety and friendly staff. Been a regular there for 10+ years. Recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Chinese food.

I often make appointments with friends for dim sum and dinner here. The dim sum and roasted duck here are also exceptional. The dim sum here is even more delicious than what I've had at restaurants in Hong Kong, and the portions are generous. I always leave satisfied after each visit. This time, there were only two ladies dining, and we ordered eight pieces of dim sum. The portions were large, and we ended up having leftovers to take home. It would be even more ideal if there were more convenient parking options available.

Always reliable for authentic Cantonese Cuisine and Dim Sum (aka Yumcha). Always hits the spot. Book a table, but be on time or you’ll lose your table and have to wait. It’s understandable because it’s so sought after and amazing you can’t complain if they give your table away if you’re late. So be smart. Book and be on time.

We had dinner here last night for my husband's birthday. We ordered from the dim sum menu. The food was absolutely amazing - the best dim sum I've ever had! But it didn't end there, the owner and staff were sooo lovely and made our night one to remember. We can't wait to come back and try the main menu! 😊

I love this place, the dim sum's so good and fairly priced. Jasmine tea is good too, but not free.

Might need booking. The food was absolutely amazing… Service was nice and quick. Roasted duck was one of the top roast duck I’ve ever had in the UK. Beef balls were amaaaaazing!!! Shanghai buns weren’t delicious at all. The pastry was stiff and they aren’t juicy. Recommended in general!

It was Easter holiday and staff were super busy, yet they were still attentive and friendly. The quality of dim sum was amazingly great with authentic taste. The egg tarts were a bit disappointing. Other than that all dim sums were delicious!!

I like the Mandarin I have been going to this restaurant for many years not often as it is a trek, however the staff always remember us and and do everything to make our visit perfect. I do think that they have had a new chef as the taste of the food as changed, this is not a bad thing its just different but still very good. I do think prices have gone up and portion size gone fown but thats just the times we live in. All in all I love this place and the food is always good.

3 of us went for lunch. 5 dim sum dishes, 2 main dishes. £70 overall! 5 dim sum dishes were average, perfectly fine. £35 2 main dishes, £26 rip off! Very small portion of sweet and sour pork, and a dish of seafood rice. Both of a low standard that you would expect from a cheap takeaway. Tea and drink added up the rest. Very disappointing, not sure how this place has the reputation it has. Won't be back.

Delicious dim-sum and other food like the hundred-year's egg congee, are of HK taste. The restaurant is clean and well-decorated.

Great Dimsum menu but we had to explicitly ask for that separately after only being offered the main dinner menu. After we finished we were going to have a pudding but the staff all ignored us and the plates were left on the table for about 20 mins with our glasses empty. No real problem, but by then we’d gone past wanting a 3rd course so got the bill and went elsewhere for another drink. Food was good and tasty and quick to arrive.

Excellent traditional Hong Kong cuisine, serves best-in-town dim sum and freshly made pastries. Excellent main dishes during the night. Food quality is unchallenged among similar restaurants in Nottingham. Competitive even compared with restaurants back in HK. Price is slightly higher but absolutely worth it, evens out easily when eating with friends. Some items need to be reserved as they are served with limited amount every day: braised duck, special pastries etc. Predominately Hong Kong customers, perfect atmosphere for those who are homesick!

👍👍 Absolutely amazing! I went to have lunch on my graduation day with my friends. Food was very flavourful and cocktails were nice. Special dietary options are available and you always get 2-4-1 cocktails. Service was really friendly and approachable. Ambience and music is just cherry on top.
