It is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Cathy, the manager, and Sarina were both exceptionally friendly and professional. The King Room is massively spacious, beautifully modern, and quiet. The bathroom has a shower and tub. The mini bar is full to the brim, and the bed is comfy as can be. Upon check-in, you are given complimentary Scotch Whisky (Tomatin), which was an excellent touch. My room came equipped with a balcony overlooking the gold course, and I could not be happier. Overall, I certainly recommend this hotel to anybody looking for an elegant, modern hotel with luxurious amenities. I know I'll be staying here again!

Fantastic, clean and comfortable hotel. Staff are always working with a smile, friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was top class, the bar food and snacks were brilliant. The pool, steam and sauna was a fantastic experience. The gym, the equipment was old but was enough to get your workout done. Will definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Inverness, Scotland.

Lovely dog friendly hotel. Staff really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately didn't get chance to try out the swimming pool and gym. Great meals. Only very minor issues were getting a space in the car park and that the TV wasn't tuned into bbc channels (so no match of the day). Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay, comfortable and clean room. Tasty breakfast. But it was the staff that made this hotel stand out. So helpful and friendly every single member we came across. Also, Leigh Anne at the spa was wonderful. Highly recommended. Thank you.

My stay was absolutely perfect. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are gorgeous. Every staff member is so friendly and they go above and beyond to make sure you have the best stay. I had lunch, some room service and breakfast during my stay and the food was amazing. The leisure facilities are also great. I can absolutely recommend the hotel. I can’t wait for my next visit!

My wife and I stayed at the Kingsmills Hotel last weekend to visit family in Inverness, to celebrate my wife's birthday, and to attend the Stars in their Eyes function on the Saturday evening. What a Fabulous hotel this is. The staff are all friendly, the food is excellent, the room was comfortable, and the atmosphere is one of genuine warmth and professionalism throughout. This was our first visit to the Kingsmills.... It will not be our last. Thanks to you all! A jewel of a hotel.

We were here on a cruise excursion, for our lunch. Although they had an extremely large room filled with tables and guests, they served us very quickly and efficiently. The food was very tasty, especially the soup. And we enjoyed having a beer with our meal. Very impressed with how well they served so many people so well.

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in a garden room as part of the “winter warmer deal”. Our room was clean and was well equipped. During our stay housekeeping freshened up our room and made sure all supplies were filled. The outside patio was a lovely addition to sit in to enjoy the nice weather. We dined in the Inglis Restaurant and have no complaints whatsoever about the meal. The staff were also very helpful however, clearly stretched and understaffed but this did not affect their service. We also made use of the hotels spa facilities that were clean and the staff were helpful. Unfortunately, the sauna was broken during our stay but we enjoyed the jacuzzi and swimming pool. We also enjoyed a wide selection of breakfast each morning accompanied with different fruit juices. The buffet included both hot and cold options, cereals, porridge etc. There was plenty to choose from. Overall, we will be staying again and will be looking out for similar deals to the winter warmer.

I stayed in the new building. Room was great, with a nice view of the golf course. Service was excellent. Pretty good breakfast. We had dinner in the old building which had a nice restaurant and bar. Good food, decent service. Location is very good, within a reasonable walk to the downtown area.

Stayed here in May of 2023. The hotel was a pleasant walk from the city centre and was in a quiet setting despite being so close to the heart of the city. Staff were very friendly, the garden suite room we stayed in was very clean and well-appointed, and the property as a whole was very good value for money. Would definitely stay again on my next trip to Inverness.

The best thing about the Kingsmills Hotel, by far, was the excellent friendly staff, so accommodating and gave our dog lots of fuss, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were immaculate and clean, tastefully decorated. Perhaps could have had nicer tea/coffees in the room given how upmarket the place is. Equally given the accommodating nature, dogs were not allowed in the main restaurant, but perhaps could have been a cubby hole out of the way. That said, they were happy to set up a table in the waiting area so we could have breakfast with our dog.

We had a great stay. The staff could not have been more attentive or friendly. Accommodation very comfortable. We used the pool etc which was lovely. The food was top class and our waitress knowledgeable and attentive. The note I put in my booking about my husband's birthday was noted as he had a specially decorated plate and cake. Thank you. Would definitely recommend.

The Kingsmills was a phenomenal hotel to stay at in Inverness. 15 min walk from center city or quick taxi ride. Accommodations and staff were fantastic. We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary here with dinner as well and it was delicious.

We booked a two night deal with meal allowance so we could use two body massage gift vouchers and have afternoon tea. Everything about our stay was brilliant and faultless. Great welcome from Pam and the spa staff were great. The restaurant staff were so attentive and worked so hard to keep the busy restaurant flowing. The room was one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. It was a wholly wonderful experience as always. We got married at the hotel in 2012 and love coming back. Thank you so much for such a fabulous time.

Festive lunch with friends the food was fabulous we all enjoyed it. I am gluten/dairy free I was over the moon with the selection and they had a lovely chocolate orange tart I could have for pudding which is so rare when I eat out . I was absolutely delighted. The service was very attentive and I didn't have to mention my diet they asked me and advised me what I could have. First class 🎅🥂

The hotel is beautiful! The design is lovely, the room was big and clean, the bed was big and comfortable. The lounge was big with nice atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel has big free parking lot. The only downside was the location, that was a bit far from the center, about 15 min walking.

Excellent hotel. Classy. Lovely room. Service great. Only one bad thing is the shower. The hotel is great. Staff super friendly and the atmosphere awesome. The Highlands terrific and Scotland a magnificent country in the UK.

Beautiful room, food excellent both in the restaurant and in the lounge area. Room was so lovely. One small thing can you put soft closers on the wardrobe doors. Information book in room is brilliant if touring. Cannot wait to return

I was there for a meeting so no rooms used. The bar and conservatory area was really nice, comfortable chairs and staff attentive and friendly. We had teas and coffees and were left to have our meeting/ discussion in peace. Would certainly return on another day for lunch which looked lovely as saw orders being served. Nice grounds from what I could see. Easily found, good parking and access to Inverness if your holidaying there.

Hotel staff were perfect. So nice and friendly. Honestly best customer service I've had. The downside was that our first room had no hot water and weak shower pressure. Also no convenient plug fittings near the bed. The perfect staff then upgraded us and our room had great hot water, although the shower pressure was still a little low. The room then was too cold. The thermostat didn't appear to be very accurate in adjusting. Really enjoyed my staff. The breakfast was good value and at extended times. Would definitely return. Also great location and convenient parking.

A classy, high quality venue with AMAZING food. The attitude and attentiveness of the staff was exemplary, and the price was more than worth it for their experience alone. Only downside is being here from Australia, I am used to a very different style of street layout comparied to what I am experiencing here, which made finding it was not necessarily easy to me. The time spent looking was WELL worth it. There was a wedding happening on the day we went in, and it made absolutely no dent in any part of the experience whatsoever, if anything, it added to it. I cannot recommend this Hotel enough! Kingsmills is more than worthy.

The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, but very small rooms. Staff was there to help with our bags when we arrived late on a Friday night, but otherwise saw no staff. No one was at desk during checkout Sunday morning and we had to carry our bags down three flights of stairs (no elevators). The hotel does smell of curry, but didn't bother us so much. Excellent location to walk to Ness Islands and restaurants.

Warm well mannered welcome on arrival as we were shown to our table in the Conservatory Restaurant. Enjoyed a lovely meal, made with quality produce, beautifully presented and reasonably priced. The serving staff were very attentive and unobtrusive. With special thanks to Lucy. Would recommend.

Stayed here on our first night in Inverness. We had paid for early check in but it wasn’t quite ready and they made sure we were happy. We had a patio room and it was gorgeous. Easy to walk into town, nice lounge and fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Have stayed several times which must say something! The staff are really welcoming and friendly. Rooms have everything you need, are very comfortable and clean. The beds and linen are excellent quality ensuring a fab night's sleep. Breakfast in the main hotel is buffet style but the food was all lovely and fresh and not at all dried out. What's not to like?

We met for a swim lunch. Pool small but fine. Slightly on cool side but was okay. Jacuzzi was satisfactory but again could possibly have been couple of degrees warmer. Our 2 course lunch was excellent. Beautifully prepared, and very tasty. We all felt it was good value. The service was also excellent. We would happily return. Thanks

We were at the hotel for afternoon tea for 4. Staff were friendly and attentive. Our personal preference would have been to have a few more sandwiches. There were only 6 finger sandwiches between the four of us. There were ample cakes 4 each of the scones, millionaire shortbread, strawberry tarts and caramel loaf however only 2 of the mango cream dessert. Quality of the cakes and sandwiches were good and the pot of tea was topped up when we requested. Had hoped for a 4 star hotel just to have a bit more of a wow factor.

I honestly couldn't not recommend this hotel enough. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed, staff were lovely and helpful and they genuinely couldn't do enough for us if they tried. Food in the main dining area was exceptional, again staff being super attentive. First time for me and my partner, we already can't wait to come back later in the year!

a one night stay but thoroughly enjoyed this lovely hotel. Stayed in the garden room, quiet area, lovely room with huge bathroom and great view in the morning. Food was good at Evening Dinner and the breakfast was exceptional - only hitch was trying to spread your toast on the fancy side plates !!

Nice hotel, just don't look at it too closely. Everything looks great from a distance but looks a bit worn when viewed up close. The bed was like a brick with absolutely no give/bounce, but oh my word was the black pudding and haggis not AMAZING, the best breakfast I've had on holiday possibly ever!!

Stayed for 3 nights B&B with family members. Staff couldn't have been more courteous, helpful or friendly and accommodation was very good. Hotel breakfast until 11.00 am meant we could have a longer sleep after being out late meeting other family members. Lovely grounds and comfortable, spacious bedrooms. Breakfast very good although evening meal prices just a wee bit high but really nicely presented and tasted wonderful.

The hotel and the staff were amazing. Visited the hotel with the entire family and another family who were friends. We took the family rooms which were large and spacious. The rooms is were tidy, neat and the hotel was clean. The leisure facilitates and the swimming pool can do with some improvements but nothing major. We would definitely got back to stay there.

We have just returned from a lovely two night break at the Kingsmills Hotel Inverness. This was a re-scheduled visit; our initial booking had to be changed due to family illness and we found the hotel to be very accommodating. We booked a garden room as we were taking our dog with us. The garden room was well appointed with a comfortable bed, two seater sofa and a lovely bathroom. However, we did not have the opportunity of using the fabulous, large shower as the boiler for the hot water packed in for all the garden rooms and could not be fixed immediately. We were swiftly allocated another (luxury) room in the hotel and were assisted by a very friendly member of staff to move all our belongings. We were delighted with our second room in The Kings Club. The bed was absolutely fabulous, enormous and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was served in The Kings Club which was great, meaning we didn’t have to walk to the main hotel. Staff throughout the hotel were very helpful and friendly. On our second evening, our waitress was a little uncertain and the service not quite so slick but hey ho - we weren’t on a rush. Food good. We will definitely return.

We booked for the high tea and the service was lack lustre. The vegetarian offering was nice and the scones were fresh and warm. Very little attention from the servers and the bathrooms are quite a walk to find. Not sure if we will come back for £20 a head.
