A pretty little botanical garden tucked away in Roath Park. We always enjoy the atmosphere here and It's nice to escape a cold day into the warmth of this conservatory. There is an entrance fee and a small charge of 50p for fish food, the fish are friendly and will come right up to your hand. Plus If you take along children then there are some free activity sheets for them to take part in as they walk around and these can be found by the entrance.

A beautiful place full of interest, I have recently become interested in Plants from around the world especially the Tropics, Roath Park Conservatory is certainly a place I want to visit again soon. Wish it was bigger however what they have created with the space they have already is amazing and great value. 🌴🌿🌴🌿🌴🌿🌴

A very cute little botanical garden near Roath park lake! It’s got loads of fish and turtles you can feed, lots of tropical plants and flowers! lovely place to visit, there are student prices for entry and you can buy the fish/turtle/bird feed at the same place you buy a ticket for entry! You can also buy plants there too!

It was quite warm inside and it was very tropical. You can hear birds singing in the trees and there's a pond full of giant fish and there are also turtles. Lots of interesting plants as well. Loved it!

Great little gem in the heart of Cardiff, my son loved feeding the fish and the different climate inside.

The Rhiwbina Women's Club spent a very interesting and entertaining afternoon at Roath Park. David Jones and his team arranged a Christmas Wreath and Table Centre decoration making class . The event was well organised and we were all given mases of foliage and instruction on how to make our chosen Christmas decoration. A big thankyou to David and a Happy Christmas you and your team. We will be back in 2023.

An amazing place where you can escape reality and enjoy the tropical flora and fauna. You can purchase a food bag, to feed the giant koi fish and terrapins.
