Wonderful family-run fish shop, right on the beach. Fresh kippers, pates, crabs, soups... all served with a smile and a crusty roll. Easy access. Outside seating. A real treat.

Always amazing service and the food is top notch. My little bit of zen on brighten seafront. Coffee shop next door is superb too.

We had 1 x sea bass and 1 x unsmoked mackerel ciabatta’s with a great salad filing and they were both amazing. Super fresh of the highest quality with lovely smiling service, eaten on the beach in the sun! What more could you want?

Kipper sandwich? Ambrosial. Knocks spots off any of the other food places on Brighton sea front. Big smoky fillet in a soft bread roll (ciabatta?) with a squeeze of lemon. Not an atom not to like.

A must visit for everyone coming to Brighton. Delicious smoked mackerel sandwiches, in fresh bread and perfectly seasoned. Very authentic and quite affordable. The stuff is great as well

Lovely staff on the counter. Gorgeous spot on the seafront. I had the sea bass with tartare sauce on a ciabatta; absolutely delicious I could have ordered another!! The fish tasted so light and fresh which complimented the soft roll and sauce. Will definitely come back!

Everything would be great if the woman cook washed her hands before cooking, before that she threw a ball to the dog... I really hope that I just didn’t see her washing them. Based on the popularity of this place on the map, I expected something more. But overall it’s a cozy family establishment, everything is fresh. You can only sit outside. The guy working there is a very nice, curly-haired guy, so cute that he gets confused about what type of bread he ordered. The presentation is heartfelt. * Very simple and atmospheric, on the seashore. You can eat on a chair near the cafe, or take it with you and sit right on the shore. At a nearby coffee shop, the owner has a dog that he takes with him, she is very kind and happy with everyone. A lot of people come with pets. The place is very cozy. The main thing is everything is fresh.

Great place by the beach sidewalk where you can get fresh fish that was caught that day on their own boat. The staff are super fun and polite and they sell out of their daily catch super quickly. If you are craving something fresh and trustable this would be the place to go in Brighton beach. Highly recommended!

Fresh ingredients by the beach, what else are you looking for ? Daily selection of fish, we got sea bass and sea bream sandwiches and enjoyed both a LOT! Got some beer next door to make lunch perfect 🤌🏼

As a local, this is one of my gems. On a sunny day there is nowhere else to be on the seafront for me. Unpretentious, fresh food that's clearly made with love. My favourite are the crab ciabatta sandwich and the whitebait box. Always a treat!

Love stopping of here for coffee, they serve a really good one. Also had their Box of Whitebait, which is absolutely delicious and fresh and a generous portion. Great to just sit by the beach and watch the world go by.

Seabass in ciabatta with tartare sauce and salad for £8. Really tasty. Dying to come back and try their smoked mackeral or crab. Very friendly guy cooking all fresh to order. Open all year round, 7 days a week!

Brighton has a plethora of fine seafood restaurants - not least the elegant Salt Room across the road - yet I'll wager you won't find a better fish dish than the Brighton Smokehouse's hot kipper, lemon, and pepper sandwich. The perfect seaside lunch.

Wow! Great little place for a bite to eat along the seafront. Very reasonable prices, and the guys behind the counter were very friendly and accommodating, including with a very particular nine year old! He and I had the fish finger sandwiches, and mummy had the sea bass salad. All of it was absolutely amazing, and prepared to order. Heartily recommended.

Real hidden gem of Brighton. Considering the seafront is full of btec chippies, you’d be forgiven for thinking all the food along the seafront is average at best, but this is an anomaly. Great service too.
