One of the best places I’ve ever visited. We arrived and it was full but the lovely staff took our number and called us when a table was available. Tremendous food, freshly cooked and tasted amazing and really good portion size. We was too full for cake but we had some for takeaway. We had recommendations from the staff and all the cakes were delicious especially the cookie pie. Overall enough credit can’t be given. Excellent staff, excellent food and even though it’s over an hour away we will be returning 100%

Nice menu. Good food. My only nit pick is that my wife ordered a smoothie. The glass came 3/4 full.. I just thought it was down to being a big glass. We then saw the same smoothie given to the next table with the glass full to the brim. Just found that strange.

Such artistry and love goes into the gorgeous little cafe in Chapel-en-le-Frith. I had the pleasure of visiting this weekend with my dog and partner. A fantastic and utterly divine selection of home-baked cakes are on offer. The presentation behind glass immediately drew me to them. It was far from easy choosing between so many delicious options. We enjoyed the two we had - a lemon drizzle and Viennese whirl - so much that two that a box of two others 'fell' into our hands for take out. My partner had a freakshake as well, which's another masterpiece by Pug and Pudding. My dog settled onto the cool floor and if he could speak human perhaps he would've commented on the superb ode-to-pug wall decor. You'll have to go to witness this delight as no photo would do it a justice In the photos is the Viennese whirl & lemon drizzle cakes, the splendiforous freezeshake and the Jammie Dodger and Bakewell tart take out. Yum.

I don’t know why it’s taken so long for us to pop in here (we only live 3 miles away!) but we’ll definitely be back - what a great place! Lovely atmosphere, really interesting menu compared to your average coffee place, and reasonable prices. We loved our food choices - really tasty, good portion sizes, and delivered by very lovely staff. Definitely recommend:-)

A beautifully designed restaurant with wonderful pictures of the adorable Pug. I ordered the chicken burger and fries which was really good. Service was very good and very reasonable prices at £15 - £20 each for a meal and a drink.

My favourite place! Both the pug and pudding and their new "pugtato shack" are beautiful! The food is always gorgeous and freshly prepared using fresh ingredients . Can highly recommend the burritos and the Buddha bowl! The cakes are out of this world, definitely treat yourself to one to take home! All the staff members are so friendly and welcoming and both venues are always clean. The jacket potatoes are delicious , perfectly done ! Just all round a great place to meet for a coffee or a meal! And it's dog friendly!

Really lovely setting, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, quick and friendly staff, didn't make a reservation and they had a table for us even though it was very busy. Food was amazing, great prices and portion sizes, a kids menu available.

First visit to the new venue (2nd ever) and v impressed. Lovely set up with a big beautiful willow weaved tree stretching up across the ceiling with numerous sparkly lights! While admiring these Ollie joked it took a long time to grow! Ha ha! Fab lively atmosphere- enjoyed spotting all the decorative pugs dotted around! (plus real dogs who are welcomed... A lovely fluffy puppy girl was v excited to visit! It was v busy Saturday: so glad we booked a table, thank-you Pug & Pudding for remembering we needed one by the window for 2 of our party who lipread, made such a positive difference to us. Staff are young, friendly and welcoming despite being very busy that day. Food is all prepared totally fresh, so do be aware of this if you are in a hurry. I think the quality of food reflects the freshness and care taken with it so worth a wait. Drinks arrived promptly. Caramel milkshake was v creamy, dirty chai latte was enjoyed, 'would have it again' (I always think that's the good way to rate something new!) Tea pot for tea not just a mug, and such cute milk bottles! 💖 One of our party had the special minted lamb burger with onion bhaji: 'solid meat, v tasty' so filling they couldn't manage it all! Sticky chicken and hallomi boritto was 'very nice, good' (had that 1st visit so resisted this time! Be aware, yummy sauce can be a bit wet/drippy so watch out if on a date/wearing your fav top!) All party enjoyed our meals felt it was good value and would definitely return! Pug & Pudding had a great range of cakes- as you arrive, by the bar & made on site loved the unique seasonal themes! (see photos) obviously very popular - disappearing as quickly as I photographed them! (so may need to come early to guarantee the one you want!) There are a few steps down to ladies toilet and Gents is upstairs- no Disabled toilet. Level entry via an angled porch. Something to be aware of for wheelchair users. An enjoyable brunch would recommend, and will return!

On yet another miserable, wet and cold day, I found myself entering another coffee shop I'd never been to before. Now this particular business is quite visually stunning and I would go far as to say unique in its interior design. The staff here are brilliant and the atmosphere is very calm. I have to admit that the coffee was exceptional and I'm quite sure that I shall return again. I spotted a pugnacious character sitting on a shelf and if the system works I'll add the image. I really can't recommend this business too highly, so if you find yourself in the area you must visit this exceptional cafe. On yet another visit today Wednesday 22 November, I tried their Dirty Chai Latte beside my Americano. Now even though I don't normally drink milk based coffee, I have to say this is the highest quality I've ever tested anywhere. This cafe is quite remarkable.

Been here twice months apart, both times the service has been excellent with the food tasty. Nice place to stop for a light lunch/snack, with a decent selection of foods on offer.

Pug & Pudding make the BEST sweet treats! 🧁 It’s my favourite place to go since moving into the village! Their cheesecakes are SO delicious, as is everything else; you won’t regret anything you choose from here. We’ve tried pretty much everything - brownies/blondies, cupcakes, tiffin, burgers, breakfast sandwiches, milkshakes.. It’s all yummy! Dogs are very much welcome & they have a treato jar at the ready 🐾 Everyone there is lovely & it’s always a pleasure to pop in.

First time visiting. I have celiac disease . The staff were amazing and very knowledgeable, went through the menu with me, explaining what I could eat. The food was delicious and freshly cooked. Will definitely visit again.

We stopped off here when doing a campervan tour of the UK. It was a lovely little place and the staff were so happy and friendly. I recommend the Breakfast Burrito as it is absolutely amazing! They have a wide range of lovely looking cakes and sweets and do great milkshakes too. I hope to return in the future.

Lovely staff and a great menu! I wanted to try everything! I had a Budda Bowl which was delicious and my mum had a burrito which she loved. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options and a delicious selection of cakes. We will definitely be back!

Nice independent cafe in Chapel en le Frith, coffee was nice and hot, sandwiches and cake to take out where all greedily consumed. Nice place for a treat.

We found this delightful café today purely by chance on a grey and rainy February morning. We instantly knew we’d found the perfect place for breakfast after receiving a warm and friendly greeting in tastefully decorated surroundings. The menu is varied and tantalising with something for everyone. Food is freshly prepared with generous portions and clearly using good quality ingredients. A little gem that is well worth the visit!

We had lunch here and the food was delicious. The service was very good and the staff were lovely. There is a great varied choice of lighter lunch options which many other places do not offer. I would definitely recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Visiting Chapel from Sheffield to walk around the town heritage trail we noticed this cafe and popped in for a snack. My wife and I had the classic burgers . We can honestly say they were the best burgers we have ever had. The cakes looked fantastic but no room in the tummy for them unfortunately.

We were delighted to find this place. What a menu! So much choice and food freshly prepared. A large choice of home made cake too! The staff were lovely and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

This place has been extremely popular on social media locally so had to try. Did not disappoint, cupcakes and brownies were delish and even have vegan options for those who need it.

One of the best lunches I’ve had in my life. Good prices and uniqueness/variety in food, good portion sizes, friendly staff and a great atmosphere along with a beautiful establishment with attention to detail and care. Would rate higher if I could 10/10 would recommend. Would come again 👍🏼
